Nothing like some one screaming at the top of their lungs for your entire flight, I know it helps me fly.

wow, battery loosed, you need velcro in the plane and the batteries plus the strap, this planes are fast and pull some G's. Fast airplane 101.

When you can, invest in a zoom in feature cam. Then your vids will be epic.

I've been looking into that any recommendations in terms of cameras. Was also thinking about software that could zoom in via post-production as a possible option. I'm currently just using a GoPro for all my videos and completely agree with you it's a bit frustrating when the shots are so far away. Cheers

Have someone film with a phone maybe? You can zoom using the lens.

@@ghoustanable dude surprisingly if you use an iphone and switch the video to 4k 60 fps, it works really well, you can zoom in too. If you want to spend the money Sony is the way to go!

I'm confused, how exactly did the plane loose its batterys? Ugh! Did he hit a tree as well? Maybe time to land for inspection after tree strike. I managed to eject my citation longitude's battery during an agressive left roll with tons of left rudder and negative elevator! Luckly the plane settled in like a feather and came down on its belly no damage! I modified the plane so the battery cant shove the cover off again!

Garfield, I had a question that I think you could help with. I maidened my avanti v3 and had it in auto level mode took off gained elevation about 200 yards away I put the plane in gyro only mode and right about this time the engine cut out and I had no control of the avanti, it crashed. I was using a 6 channel orange receiver for the first time and the plane has a reflex gyro installed. Did my avanti loose signal( I range tested it at 30 yards no issues) or did the gyro cause this if I fix the plane and fly it again should I not use the gyro, I am planing to use a spektrum receiver next go around.

Orange receiver is one of the leading causes of EDF jet crashes. Many a good Barbie’s were widowed when their plastic pilot boyfriends died in EDF fires

WOW!!! I am so sorry, that was a terrible happening. Been there, sure does not feel good. Lucky to at least find both batteries, together! Hopefully you will be able to replace the plane, at least you have some scrap now.
