Same here. The different food items that I've never seen, are really very interesting for folks in another country. I'm in the Midwest of US, & I know my regular stores do not carry lots of things Nami cooks with. Mostly I wonder where she puts all she eats...she looks to be very petite!!

Hi Nami, today I went to the Japanese sweets store in Manhattan, they had the dolls for the festival just like those you have and I thought of you because I learned about that lovely festival in your channel. I bought Sakura waffles and also matcha sweets, they were all delicious. Thanks for sharing with us the beauty of your country and culture.
Putting a raw egg yolk & some grated parmesan cheese onto the hot pasta then stirring it in will produce a delicious creamy sauce which will bind to the pasta - almost like a carbonara sauce. You make some delicious dishes Nami. I love home style Japanese cuisine but some ingredients are not easy to come by here in Australia & the restaurants usually have the same basic menu. I have learnt to cook many dishes from watching your videos. Thank you 🥰
Nella " carbocrema" serve tuorlo d'uovo , pecorino ( formaggio con latte di pecora) , guanciale ( non pancetta ma la guancia del maiale) e abbondante pepe nero,meglio se in grani. La carbo crema si può pastorizzare con il calore della pasta calda e appena scolata.

You made assumptions based on other people's experiences. Not all people (much less the Japanese) are like that. Each individual is different, whether in west or east. There will always be rude people. In fact, we in asia, generally don't want to bother foreigners (but especially the very western looking ones), because mentally we have made them "special" pedestals due to foreign movies/cultures/oddities. Aww thank you for another video, Nami. You make my weekends special! I love green asparagus! But here is a tip: you do not need to peel it. Only the white asparagus needs to be peeled. For the green one it is enough to cut the ends off. It will safe you some time. I cannot wait for it to be in season here in Germany! I will eat so much!

I’m surprised Nami doesn’t compost. It’s easy to do - she has a balcony - & it would be so good for her plants. She has a ton of peelings, etc, when she cooks all of which go into the garbage. 😎🇬🇧🇺🇸
An aspect of life in Tokyo that really appeals to me - the whole enormous city is accessible without a car (!) via the excellent public transportation system and safe, walkable neighborhoods.
