I'm Ukrainian, and borshch is Ukrainian traditional dish, there are a lot of ways to cook it. Your borshch had perfect colour👌 Potato is one of the ingredient of the borshch, you were right to add it😉 We use beetroot often in many dishes 🙂
I’m Lithuanian and we love Borscht as well, my grandfather was Russian and he would make it homemade. It’s those recipes that bring me back to childhood. Especially anything with rye bread & sour cream

What a wonderful weekend! The Christmas market looked like fun, even if it was cold. Baby clothes are so cute, I get jealous of the adorable tiny clothes! I hope new mama friend likes them on her sweet little daughter.
Borscht looked delicious, all of your meals were so varied and healthful. Eating fresh is best! Your cake did look yummy, I'm glad it tasted good too. Strawberries are so good right now, there needs to be a way to put more on a cake!
I like artificial nails too, so easy! And so many pretty, elegant designs now. Both the hard ones like Impress and the nail wraps from Scratch or ManiMe are easy and pretty.

Christmas is literraly big in most countries in the world. If there are countries without grand celebration for Christmas, I can only think of probably Middle East. Christmas is no longer religious celebration anymore but more of a global celebration now.
Christmas is a global holiday. But what has surprised me is in Taiwan they celebrate Thanksgiving with turkey and the whole works.
