  • Black dogs can look really gorgeous in pet photos, but editing their fur so they look properly black can be tricky. Depending on how you've exposed the image, and the global edits you make to the photo, they often end up looking washed out and grey, or even blue!
In this quick Lightroom tutorial, I'm sharing a new technique I've discovered for quickly and easily removing a stubborn blue colour cast from black fur, using Lightroom's new masking tools. You can use the same technique to remove any colour - other common colour casts are red or magenta.
Just another handy tip to add to your pet photography editing toolbox, from Charlotte Reeves of Unleashed Education.
