What's the difference between this and the A model (TS705a) ? Also what is the paper input tray capacity ?
The “A" version is essentially the same printer as the non “A" version. The “A" relates to a minor change to the model, this change consists of removing the BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) module in the printer.

Hi, do you get any error message on the screen ?
If the printer says the cartridge is damaged or will still not recognise the cartridge then remove the cartridge and gently wipe the copper area or the cartridge with a dry soft cloth (the area known as the 'chip') to remove any static that may have accumulated on it and re-insert to see if it will solve the problem.

@@naordaniel Well it is not suggestible to use 3rd party ink cartridges. But there are some vendors who provide compatible cartridges and it works fine. I also use cannon TS705 series compatible cartridges and it works fine. Please try the below steps and check if its works fine. Let me know if it works
1)Clean Contact Ports. ...
2) Internal Memory Reset. (Unplug Power cable wait for 10 sec and then try putting cartridge 1 By 1. This will tell which one is not reading)
3) Remove the Protective Strips. ...
4) Ensure Proper Ink Cartridge Insertion. ...
5) Check for Printer Updates. ...
6) Ensure Purchase of Correct Consumable. ...
7) Avoid Using Refilled Ink Cartridges.

Hi Ferhat 23, both are kind of same, if you very much budget tight the choose which every suits best for you.
@@unboxandbeyond Ts 705 has cartridge, but the other doesn't have. I want to buy long lived one.
@@ferhat2372 if your printing requirement is huge then go for GM2040 as it comes with ink bottles. In case of TS705 yes you need to buy cartridges which is little bit of pain as they are expensive. I only use for my kids project & home purpose so went with TS705. I would say for long life GM2040 is a good choice.

Canon Pixma G2010 it can print color as well. Comes with color bottles.
This printer does direct print on CD/DVD, even has a disc synbol on the front, the disc tray is attached underneath the unit.

Hi Hard Rock Man, unfortunately not this only prints in Paper and Photo Paper. Sorry for the late response as I was busy in shifting form my appt.

Too much false alert messages and the orange light Is on all the Time Even if ink cartridges are brand new I have It sînce 2 years NEVER works

@Asterix Haypairile, have you tried changing the ink cartiridge. The light usually flashes if the ink cartridges are in wrong order or not compatible.
Its been too late I responded, I am not sure if your problem has been resolved or not ?
