I am a Nikon geek, have been using them since the late 60's, have 28 of them and 6 of them are the F2. In my opinion, the best Nikon ever. They do not know that they are supposed to wear out and stop working! Excellent review of a great camera! Thanks!
Nice review! Just bought my own. As someone who is into street photography, capturing scenes that does not require significant focus on one subject, what lens do you recommend? I currently have a 50mm, 1.4 lens
A wide angle allows great depth of field, 38mm is useful as it is wider yet not too wide. I think Cartier Bresson had his Leica set at f8 and 1/125 sec and focus about 10m not a bad average setting for street work where you never know what is next! Thank for watching the video.
@@beforedigital voightlander 40 mm f2 is brilliant. It's really flat and better than the Nikkor 50mm but expensive compared to it. You get the camera for $100 why not get a great flat street lens?
I got a used one in 1982 after my First camera, Nikonus ll got stolen in Florence Italy. I just thought of it as a Nikon Land Camera. I didn't know. It didn't have a lable. I just got a nice F2 for $91 on ebay. I'm so looking forward to getting my old girl back and treating her better this time.

F1? Do you mean a Nikon F or a Canon F1?
I must have meant Nikon F. Thanks for watching.
