The 10 iron steel bracelet rings are in these Chinese Martial arts films I’ve seen: 1. The 36th chamber of Shaolin 2. Kung Fu Hustle 3. Shang-Chi & the Legend of the 10 rings: (more like magical 10 rings NOT 10 iron rings) lol 😊
Not just weight training, the iron rings are meant to clamp and pinch your skin as well as create micro fractures in the bones so as to condition your forearms and your wrists.
I like marvel is doing a good job of representing hung gar through those iron rings. A lot of curious minds must have searched about those and came across your videos.
I found a baby's teething toy that does a similiar thing but currently use a mala with bone beads. Funny thing is that the baby's toy has a nice rattle to them while pinching the wrists at the end of punches which I believe helps for toughening the hands. I have a brief clip up comparing the two. would like to buy and compare all three one day.
How many rings do you get when you buy them on your site, just got 9 section chain whip training Bakken and training knife. Wanna come back for the hook swords and rings too probably
@@EnsoMartialArts if only I can do business with you , No money, No honey.I will keep U in mind. U may have something else I like to purchase in addition to the rings. Sometime April or May
I focus mostly on training weapon skilles and currently I'm training with 21 different weapons over multiple styles of marshellarts. I'm intrested in iron fist and palm training, and I have already progressed to hitting steel construction beams embedded in concrete so hard that you can hear them ringing. Are iron rings intresting for people focusing mostly on weapons or are there styles using them as weapons as well? Like using them for arm strikes and kicks while wearing the rings or using them like braceknuckeles.
Impressive stuff Joey. I don't think anyone uses them as weapons as such (please correct me if I am wrong folks) I've seen them used as defence in the movies of course but they are more a muscle building / training item, although we can ALL see a weapon in EVERYTHING......right !? :) They can be used to build strength for weapons use or just general hand form improvement also. Obviously there is elements of conditioning along the forms arms, hands and wrists just in their general use also.
@@EnsoMartialArts your right about that though everything you hold could be a weapon. A weapon is a force enhancer, everything that enhances mass, structurele strenght or decreses surfaces area of impact is a weapon. Even hands I considerd a weapon if you make them stronger then they were suppost to be, cause then they have inhanced structuur strenght making them harder then normal hands thus a weapon.
I got me a set of 3 iron rings to see how good they are. If I like them then I'll get 3 more to balance me out. It will go well with my iron whisk I made for body hardening. I want to make a slap board for iron fist/palm
It's better to use forearm weights or 10 kgs. wrists weights. ankle weights. that's noiseless & provide a grip. Only reason rings are better, if you want dangling weights later in training. BUT too much noise is the biggest problem, HARDLY YOU CAN FOCUS FOR 30 MINUTES. but with forearm weights you can. Also, they should make helix instead of multiple rings, that will solve noise problem.
For weight training, yeah I guess. But wouldn't make a lot of sense. Kun g Fu has a lot more dynamic movements so all kind of different muscles groups get worked. You might end up ruining connective tissue if you used them in Boxing
@@Catgat37 I've never seen nor heard of that. You should check with your Sifu. If you don't have a sifu that is the problem and you're probably using the wrong formula. There is no one Dit Da Jow formula for everything, each is made for a particular training.
The "guy" from Kung Fu Hustle is actually Hung Gar si-fu Chiu Chi Ling son of famous Lam Sai Wing student Chiu Kau, perhaps you should research these things before making a video.... As a long time hung gar practitioner, 28 years plus, I've had to use these conditioning tools on many occasions
Most of us saw those rings in kung fu hustel, long long before shang chi
well said!!
Yeah Shangchi and the legend of 10 Rings😂😂😂😂😂
Nah homie kung fu hustle
Yeah 😂😂😂😂😂
That and kung-fu hustle

we sell them as a single iron ring, so to have one on each arm you will need to order 2
I like Iron rings 👍✌they're going to compliment what I have in mind

question could they be used as ankle weights
They would move around quite a lot and could end up damaging your ankles, you could use them but i wouldn't recommend it.

So these sell individually on your website?
yes these are all sold individually on our website
Could these be used for Muay Thai or is that not recommend?
It could be used but we wouldnt really recommend it. if you want to improve your technique i would use a resistance band.
I have to show these to those who said The Ten Rings are only bracelets.
yeah man go for it!!
Great shirt 😎
Thanks man!!
lovin' the jasmine dragon shirt :D
Hahaha yeah!!! Love this T-shirt, well done for spotting it
Definitely get the Dit Da Jow. The area at the base of your hand and wrist can get really sore...
Yes! we would definitely recommend Dit Da Jow with the rings!
Soaking in Epsom salts is fine
@@Catgat37 Not even close to proper Dit Da Jow.
@@gharm9129 this is true. But there are a lot of people out there that have skin reactions to Dit Da Jow
