I love that he not only plays his guitar with strings upside down because he's left handed and learned on a right handed guitar. But he also plays drums on a right handed kit, but keeps tempo with his left hand. Such a unique musician. Very fun to watch.

As a lefty too I'll Say it's a matter of how do You feel comfortable, I play drums as right handed but also like to play as left sometimes, and some things I'll do better with right hand and viceversa

I love the precision on his playing, how well toned everything sounds, the variations on those cymbals (1:30 / 3:30) and the dynamics all over this track. I would love to see sunset sunrise sunset sunrise too.

I never thought Vildhjarta even resembled anything post rock or doom like Cult Of Luna and the like, but this album, I feel like they've written the best post doom rock thall song ever with sunset sunrise 1 and 2.

In my unprofessional experience its best to let the riff tell you where you are in the song. Just memorizing the riff and all its variations to the point where counting isn't something you need to do. Seems counter intuitive, not counting, but that's the whole point of this style in my opinion.

Anybody know what he is doing on the snare at 1:07 to about 1:30? Seems like there's no pattern to it.
He's playing in 4/4 time signature with the snare on the 3rd beat of the bar. But then he modulates the rhythm in a crazy manner and the snare moves. It matches the crazy guitar part. It's tricky to follow along with. It's crazy good
