Searching for Sea Stars (Where did they all go??)

Most Pisaster ochraceus sea stars died in the 2013 near-extinction event caused by "Sea Star Wasting Syndrome." Are they coming back? We aim to find out. We're looking for these starfish along the Pacific Coast and marking them on our Sea Star Map. marinewatchdogs.org/seastars
