P.amboinicus.... it's medicinal you can use the sap to cure ear infections....and yes you can cook with it...tastes like oregano. Infact we call it oregano
I've been trying to find this kind of plant for so long! I love this plant because of its smell and texture! I I had some but they died. I haven't been able to find it anywhere! Whenever I ask for cuban oregano online, I always get the one with the big leaves and it's not the one I want. the one in your video is exactly the one I want! Do you sell these plants? Or do you know where I can get it? I'm not sure why this specific one is so hard to find. If you have any seeds or starter pieces that I could plant and grow, I would love to buy some! Thank You! Your videos are great!
Next time you find some, after a month or so, do what she does. I live in Chicago so it won’t survive outside. I also give it to friends so that if I loose all my plants I can get a cutting from them!
it's not the best smelling! It smells awful actually, no wonder those caterpillars never dared to bite them! they're very healthy in the garden even if I don't water them they still live!
Yes you can add it to food. In India we make fritters from this. It produces a spice called ajwain or carom seeds
I love the smell.
I got this plant, but wasn't sure what it was. Now I know! ❤
