I had fight on the flying wing and motorcycle chase. Figs and builds are intact, but some of the figs have what I call spinny arm syndrome, and have been like that for years.
james' Same, I had the temple escape, Shanghai chase, The Temple Of Doom, the temple of the crystal skull, and a few other small sets. I’m so angry at myself for breaking them apart after a month and using them for custom builds.
There are some minifigures that I would like to have seen been a part of this series: Sallah, Marcus Brody, Walter Donavan, Arnold Toht, the Grail Knight, Young Indy, Colonel Vogel, Oxley, the Maharaja, Lao Che, and maybe some different versions of the preexisting characters they made.
I would argue that the reason behind the ROTLA soldiers having such a decent price tag has to do with their torsos having generic WW2 like looks. Meaning those torso pieces would be popular in LEGO world war 2 displays and/or stop motion animations
Love how Mola Ram is so expensive... Back when I was playing Lego Indiana Jones 2 It took me so long to collect the studs for him... And also, The venice boat thing set has to be my number 1 favourite set of all time...
On the German soldiers at 4:35, the face on the third one is Viktor Krum's head used in two Harry Potter sets (4762 and 4768) from 2005. It also appeared in a set (8161) based on the 2008 "Speed Racer" film, where it was used as the head of a race commentator minifigure.
I remember buying the set with the German soldiers just to be able to replay WW2 battles when I was a kid. I was somewhat of a history geek... Sad thing is that the set today would be regarded as controversial....
The reason why so many figures for all the song themes and two sides faces cuz they probably had different phases throughout the seeds they just gave them two faces cuz I might have had other faces in that scene but I don't know if this is going to be this thing cuz I just remembered I don't know what I remember
I see a lot of opportunity for good Last Crusade sets. The Nazi Castle, the Zeppelin, the Tank fight, and the final scene with the temple and the Grail all would have been fantastic. Granted the Tank high be too violent by Lego standards but I think the rest of the sets are doable, especially the Grail temple. Imagine a massive diorama set with all 3 trails and the Grail room filled bunch of golden chalices! A hnight minfig and the bad guy melting minifig also would have been incredible!
Lego indiana jones was my childhood! The video games as well. If I have one regret is that I never got the temple escape set. Something I wish they did was make a set based on the temple from the last crusade.
I collected these sets as a kid. I have almost all of them, and I had no idea the minifigs were worth more than like a dollar. It makes me wonder how much my entire collection of Lego sets is.
The two skeletons have slightly different color armor but the have completely different torso and arm sockets. The second ones arms can move freely because his arm has a ball socket that doesn't restrict movement to just up and down motions.
Technically in Temple Escape 7623, that skeleton figure near the spike trap at the base of where the rolling boulder ends is Forestall. Another archeologist competitor of Indy. He mentions him in Raiders at that first spike trap scene. So maybe, technically he could be considered a true minifig character.
Mola Ram now seems to be going for 40-60 bucks. The headpiece alone can go for 16. On Bricklink anyway. Oddly enough, the Akator skeletons also seem to have gone up a bit. Indy I've seen go for 3.50 to 20, depending on who's smoking what.
11:10 "The Armour piece is made of a slightly different plastic. That's the only difference" *Totally looks over the fact that the skeleton torsos are different pieces and that the arms function differently*
Great video, I had a lot of these when I was younger. The Temple of Doom minecart set was always my favorite one by far. But I have no idea why they didn’t make Indy from the Crystal Skull sets look any older than he did from the previous ones since he was obviously a lot older in the 4th film compared to the others. I always thought that was really weird.
Definitely feel like we could've gotten some more sets for Last Crusade and Temple of Doom! I understand ToD (at the time) was viewed as the least desirable of the series, but there was potential for more, like you said, a model of inside the Club Obi Wan, that'd be worth a printed tile alone. You could easily get a build of the stage with that nice dragon head and maybe even the Paramont Gong. Another cool one could be the Grail trials, maybe in style of the new diorama from Raiders.
The thing wrong about the crystal skull piece is that the head is elongated upwards instead of backwards and the skull has a nose socket for some reason, still the minifig is pretty awesome and i wish i had it.
And *Temple of Doom* is Murr's favorite *Indiana Jones* movie, and that just happened end to be the theme of one of his punishments on *Impractical Jokers*.
Haha this is a good video, I had all these sets, I legit have all of these. I'm glad I found this channel. Brings back a lot of memories trading mini figures with my friends in elementary school

@@theidiot752 I don't think it sucks, but I think it's the least good out of the 4 movies.

Jamm same, but I wouldn’t sell them. I️ would cherish them. I still cherish the 9 I still have

Ruthless Terrorist that would have beeen amazing

Or better yet Al Khazneh where they find the location of the grail.

Yeah they left out alot of scenes from Temple of Doom, and The Last Crusade
They made Lao Che in Shanghai chase
What about colonel Dietrich, Mac and Russian soldiers in US army form (including colonel Dovchenko)
As cool as Vogel would be I don't think LEGO would have made a SS minifigure.
You can make makeshift versions of them since they did make LEGO versions for the videogame adaptations
I hope LEGO brings this series back when the new Indiana Jones movie comes out next year, these sets were my

theyve obtained the licesnse once, why not do it again
CAILLOU PLAYZ [911 I think they still have it actually...
11:06 You said that there were no differences between those skeleton minifigs, but the arms are different. Just thought I'd point that out!
Rohan Grant he said almost.
Nah they actually showed the wrong skeleton for the tomb set. It has the same droid arms as the other one, not the pivots.

In 12:06 the solider on the right has no gold on the belt buckle. Is this a misprint.
If it is it's probably very rare
Brick Nation the gold color just fades away really easily if played with and used regularly. Nearly all mine have lost their gold color
Xtravinator yes, I have many of these figures and most of the gold is also faded.
Sue them. Do it now!!!
wtf

"Short round" in german "Shorty" is a very cool and Awsome Character

People are snowflakes nowadays 😢.
You would think these characters are really expensive because they are old and the sets have been discontinued. But they are really cheap!
Which is good
The reason why so many figures for all the song themes and two sides faces cuz they probably had different phases throughout the seeds they just gave them two faces cuz I might have had other faces in that scene but I don't know if this is going to be this thing cuz I just remembered I don't know what I remember
Human_100704 yeah they are actually
Lol the first 4 figures almost hit 40$
Watching this in 2023 some of the figures are still very cheap
I wish they could remake the old sets like they did with Harry Potter!
The backwards hands on some of them is really annoying for me
Jack ikr
Jack Robinson same
Would like lego to revisit this theme and get some updated figures or add it to dimensions 👍
Who else is hoping we get a 5th Indiana Jones movie for more LEGO sets and a 3rd LEGO game
The last crusade was by far the best Indiana Jones movie
Blaze Crusher people regard the temple of doom is the best but I agree
Blaze Crusher I still find Raiders to be my favorite. But Crusades would be my second. "No ticket!"
Eh, I prefer Raiders Of The Lost Ark
Blaze Crusher 1. Last Crusade
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark
3. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
4. Temple of Doom
Blaze Crusher I wouldn't say by far
6:18 - Ceremony Willie reminds me of Slave Leia.

I wish Lego could obtain a James Bond license.
Johnnypumpkin Seed I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a Lego version of Daniel Craig. Or Vesper Lynd for that matter.
Johnnypumpkin Seed TOO LATE- they got Mission Impossible instead. Hope you like Tom Cruise!
Johnnypumpkin Seed there are some lego james bond sets
O En O Technasium no there isn't

This collection is ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY AWESOMELY COOL!
That plane fight set, seems they left some printing from the movie off the back of the plane
I wish they would have made an actual crystal skeleton instead of just throwing the crystal skull on just any skeleton body.
@Gordon Freeman pretty sure that's it's brain
Maybe with Indiana Jones 5 being rumored these sets might return
Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones is just Awsome I love Indiana Jones of course not as much as Star wars and Han solo because that isn't even possibile
I absolutely loved this series when I was young I wish Lego would have brought this back

The two skeletons from the kingdom of the crystal skull have different arms and torsos aswell.
Harrison Ford: I shot first

I really want those sand colour uniform soldiers, like a whole army of them, that would be awesome
The thing wrong about the crystal skull piece is that the head is elongated upwards instead of backwards and the skull has a nose socket for some reason, still the minifig is pretty awesome and i wish i had it.
This is awesome, I've been trying to rebuild my collection, So far I got Indy and The skeleton with the Crystal skull.
While watching this, I remembered every little moment, playing the game.
I think that the Henry Jones minifigure looks just like Sean Connery because of the lines on his forehead. Really adds the depth in resemblance.
And *Temple of Doom* is Murr's favorite *Indiana Jones* movie, and that just happened
end to be the theme of one of his punishments on *Impractical Jokers*.
the skeleton in armour has different arms to the other one!
I love the music you play in the background.
I got some lego Indiana Jones sets throughout my childhood, but I lost the figures a couple of years later sadly.
