I’m a first time dog owner and my dog is starting to go into heat, I was planning to buy dog underwear but they are a bit expensive and I don’t have much money. I just looked up tutorials and stumbled upon this and decided to try it. I’m so glad I found this and very happy with the end result. I’m gonna make some more for my little fur baby❤️

I just finished making this diaper & it fits him perfectly!!! I made XS size, 5mm hook, worsted weight cotton (hobby lobby). Instead of buttons, I glued velcro with fabri-tac. I’m using thin panty liners on the inside to help keep incision clean. Would like to make more of these to bring to vets office for other fur babies that could use them! Thank you so much!!! It’s comfortable, easy to put on & take off and it’s keeping him from licking the incision! Big Hugs!!! Julia

So far my dogs heat has been no big deal. She is a small white dog and takes really good care of herself. But we are going on a long road trip in a few weeks and she is due to start so we know we will be dealing with it on the road so i am making one or two of these now and hoping they will work out. Hopefully she will keep them on.
I would love to see a band for mail dog. The ones I buy are a straight band. My 3 1/2 lb Chi looses them right way. They really dont fit him right. It needs a part that bows out under his tummy to better cover his privet area. I feel this would be easy to make. I am just sure how to do the increase. Love you you tube programs.

For some reason both my rows 14 ended in the inside edges instead of the outside edges like yours? Idk why but I guess I'll just tie off before starting row 15. Thanks for the pattern though it will be VERY HELPFUL!
Hi, I think you meant 8 sc on left and right for the Small because you also said it has to have 16 stitches. If we do 9 then there will only be 7 stitches left on the other side. For your xs you had 14 stitches and you made 7 on each side. So yea, I think you meant 8 so it balances on two sides too. Hehe.

I find it difficult. In button part, after making the 6 chains. You said and you did a half double crochet. But when it is in the part of chain that slipstitch, you said double crochet.
Thanks for the tutorial, but it is kind of hard to see what you are doing, because it is backwards. You are at the top of my screen, and all the other tutorials the person is at the bottom.

It's hard to say with our seeing it, Make sure to count your rows, and if it still seems off, you add a row of slsts to even it out.
