- You’re in pain, you’re told to mobilize to address the pain, but the mobilization is also painful. wtf?
Step back. Here are two simple ways to determine if you are mobilizing at an appropriate level, and if it is safe to proceed:
1️⃣ Can you take a full breath?
2️⃣ Do you have control, ie, can you contract?
If you answer no, you’re probably under too much pressure. Back off, use a lower weight, or switch it up.
