The updated roll-top instead of the zipper is a great improvement! I got the coyote with roll top for my old 950 Adv. very happy with it! Getting the great basin next!
I have a 2005 Triumph Tiger and trying to decide between the Great Basin or the Wolfman Beta Plus. Which one do you think would work best for what will typically be 4 day trips with some off road.
It really depends how efficient you are in packing. If you want room for more stuff, go with the Great Basin (holds 60-68L). However, if you can pare down, the Beta Plus is more compact (45L). With less stuff, your bike will weigh less overall, which should help off-road. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/giant-loop-great-basin-saddlebag-roll-top *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/wolfman-beta-plus-rear-bag
That coyote looks so small next to you, doesn’t look like it would hold much more than a tent and a bag, would the basin be ok on the crf250l? Thanks for the vids..
Just look this video, and this comment also. I’m using CRF 250 Rally, so the Coyote is enough for my bike? Thanks Kraus.. i live in Indonesia. Thx to Paul too
It's the same 22 oz. vinyl-coated polyester as the main construction. You can see it more on the product page. The design is a bit different than Mosko Moto, but durability against the bike should be comparable. You may want to use clear adhesive vinyl to protect your bike's bodywork. -DrewZilla
RevZilla Thanks for the information, I appreciate it. I was wondering about the plastic, GL makes sheets , I’ll have to apply some when I buy the bag. When I get back home, I’ll order a yellow Great Basin. 👍
Yes, I definitely recommend using the clear adhesive plastic. The bag material is stronger than your paint! -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/giant-loop-vinyl-protective-film
@@RevZilla OK DrewZilla, I ordered the Great Basin, GL security cable, and a Kryptonite lock this morning. I'm excited to get it and see if it will work on the back of my KLR like I hope it will. I have a set of Dirtracks rear guards so I'll see how it works before ordering the adhesive plastic. Thanks for the replies/help.
It works quite well with the KLR650. The Wolfman Beta Plus Bag is also a good option. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/giant-loop-coyote-saddlebag-with-dry-pods *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/wolfman-beta-plus-rear-bag
With its wider pillion seat and dual underseat exhaust, the wider Great Basin is probably the better fit. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/giant-loop-great-basin-saddlebag-roll-top
Will the Great Basin dwarf a Royal Enfield Himalayan? Im looking at extended riding in a foreign country. Various dirt roads. Camping at times. I could use the coyote and strap extra onto it. So many questions....
Yes, it will probably look really big on the Himalayan, but you could still use it if you really needed the capacity. I would go with the Coyote and try to edit your gear/luggage weight as much as you can. -DrewZilla *bit.ly/GiantLoop_Luggage

Which size do u recommend for a Honda cb500x? It’s a smaller bike but I don’t think the seat is THAT slim
Both the Coyote and Great Basin are good options for the CB500X. -DrewZilla

It would dwarf the bike looks-wise, but I think it would fit just fine. -Kraus-e

Would the Coyote or the Wolfman Beta Plus be a better fit/option for a 2016 Ducati Monster 821 dark?
The Wolfman Beta Plus would be a better fit. -DrewZilla

excelent review always
I've got a WR250R but I want 60+litres of capacity, can I put the Great Basin on the WR?
Yes, you can mount the Great Basin on the WR, but you might feel a bit cramped on the bike with the bag fully packed out. -DrewZilla
What does the bottom look like the goes against the bike? The important wear area. Comparable to the Mosko Moto?

bad review ... not even show how this big bag looks inside or how to open it.
