Ahhhh sweet memories. ha Anyway, this is the only video that I know of where Ethan shreds a solo part, so I'm glad you were able to react to it. Hello my young friend! This is a FANG favorite! When they were on the World's Best show this ended up being the first song they did. Originally they were going to do Crazy Train and CBS thought they would get permission, so they built a beautiful Crazy Train set. Then, it was refused and I have a lot of respect for Iron Maiden stepping up and giving permission to do the Trooper. So, they did the Trooper on a Crazy Train set! Rockin Roll! Ethan was 12 doing this live on set. So cool. Plus, I remember the family went to see snow on her birthday. They played and did an interview on the radio station. The DJ asked Ethan what was his favorite song they did. He said the Trooper. DJ asked why? He said he has a solo! RORH! Loved your energy my friend. Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. FANG 4 LIFE! This was the best tribute cover of this song I've heard, and it impressed me no end . The only original performance of this I've seen was a live concert and Bruce Dickerson was waving a Union Jack around ,and where the musicianship was outstanding I honestly didn't think the vocals were very good, its a matter of opinion I know but he just sounded wrong , and when I heard Melody's version I was blown away that an 18 yr old girl could sing that song so good and seeing a12 yr old Ethan shredding like that was truly amazing. @@TheMetalMixtape They were on a CBS talent show called The Worlds Best! The Trooper was their initial audition song! They wanted to do Crazy Train but the Osbournes wouldn't give them permission. Iron Maiden stepped up and let them do The Trooper. The sucky part is that they didn't air the whole audition. There is a video of what little was aired and Ethan finishing up the solo on his knees. The look on the judges face when Melody started singing is priceless.
I don't think Ethan really has time for the guitar . Between the bass , learning how to play drums and practice and leaning new songs he's kind of busy . Melody taught Ethan to play bass and now she's helping Justin . The talent in this family blows my mind .
