Back when, someone sent me the link to Rainbow In The dark, I was floored, then on the sidebar I saw this, I was like Whaaa?...SO I clicked it and was knocked even further to the floor. Bought everything they've done since. They are an amazing classic metal group.

Great reaction! Ethan just doesn't get enough credit for his rhythm guitar capabilities and Melody's bass work while singing is amazing!!! By the way the guitar case is shaped like a coffin because it fits their theme. Liliac is Romanian for Bat and the father of the group was born and raised about an hour from the castle of the Drakula in Romania.
And his soloing. Even though this is the only one they uploaded of him playing a solo. I just hope he's still practicing guitar and improving on his lead skills. He was 11 I think here and would be unbelievable if he just concentrated with guitar. But I'm guessing he's putting in most of his practice on bass. Shame, because at his age here and moving forward is when you really get down and practice your chops

These kids are so talented. Amazing. Hear them live. When they need a two ax attack the singer slays the Bass and the Bass player takes double lead. Amazing.

Great reaction, fantastic cover from Liliac. I think Holy Diver is more theatrical because Melody doesn't have to play base there, and she has a different stage presence. However, I like that she plays bass and sings and has a killer voice....her voice is just outlandish....if she had lived in the 70/80s, she would have already been a world star I think.

The coffin is a trademark for them that fits their image. Their dad was born in Transylvania close to the castle of Vlad the Impaler...Liliac is Romanian for bat. Coffin case...you see where this is going. This cover is FIRE btw. Try Mars by liliac the live performance. Its an original and it is amazing.

Didn't hear of them until the pandemic we had to get out there in this world somehow so we took two Facebook ye Facebook yeehaw I guess that's the only way we can get out in this world they are good they sing the songs better than the original people do our young kids they know what they're doing just rock on but I would like to hear them sing some other stuff besides heavy metal see if y'all can get them to sing something else besides heavy metal I bet they can do it that young lady could probably seem just about anybody song socalmountains them

Would have been interesting to see a back to back comparison of this cover versus the one by Nemophila. iMHO the Nemophila is overall a more distinct and polished version. The vocalist in Nemophila, Mayu, is awesome, but struggles a bit with japanglish pronunciations. I understand she is intensely working on her English in prep to be more global act. Tamu Murata on drums is far, far, far superior to Abby in Liliac. BTW, Nemophila dropped a new song today,, Dissension,, hard as f*** song.

Had to check them out. They were instrumentally on point with Liliac I thought. Guitarist were very close. (I've been playing for 50 + years) Drums wise 2 styles. Nemophila drummer is more of a wrist player and uses her toms as part of the bass too. So it sounds almost like she's playing a double bass kit. But her wrist work is smooth. Where as Abigail is more of banger and uses her arms ans has a lot more showman to her style. But Liilac's version was 3 or 4 years back when Liliac 1st got into metal. So you need to here them today as they have improved greatly on all parts. But I definitely thought Nemophila was great. Singer was pretty good too. Like you said she has that language struggle. All in all I prefer Melody's vocal in this particular cover. Haven't heard anyone better than her for the style of music they do yet. She will be there ticket to become huge. But the others are close behind her. Only because there's way more talented musicians who play and instrument that are excellent than there are vocalist for this style today. Thanks for pointing me to Nemophila. I will check more of them for sure.

@@bertpainter8385 @Bert Painter @Bert Painter BTW, if you are interested, Tamu's friend, Senri Kawaguchi I think is perhaps my favorite drummer at present. Senri does a lot of fusion and prog stuff, so maybe not your cup of tea, but she plays with some of the best. She has four albums of her own and about a dozen in other collaborations. I think maybe one of my favorite songs is Drumatica, from her Kiyo*Sen project. Which think of it ELP and Pat Metheny group had offspring, it would be Kiyo*Sen.
