After test riding Himalayan - overpriced, low power only offroad capable, KTM 250 - Overpriced, little heavy, little more seat height, halogen headlight, little more power SO I went for the Vstrom - value for money, fun to ride easy to manage, smooth engine, adequate power what else do you want ??

Even if seat height of Vstrom is more it not difficult to use. Refinement is next level for Suzuki. I would prefer it

These reviewers just bashing V storm because of low suspension travel.
They are not watching common folks reviews. Suzuki has retuned the engine well.
They are biased towards RE.
Just got Vstorm also have my previous bike which is a RE. Just loving it. To be frank suzuki quality and engine is way way better than RE. These people just talk about off roading which is maybe 5% of average indian usage. And seat height that is something depends on individual. You cannot say bike is bad because of its seat height it should be like is one can manage its good bike.. I'm 6.1 Feet tall so Vstorm is just perfect bike for me.
Brother can you plz suggest me in terms of mileage and maintenance currently I own an RE classic 350 but want to go for sx 250...will it be good decision...?
@@surajitsinha2919 bro for my RE which I still have I spend 2 to 3k per service and that to every 3 to 4 months. Suzuki vstrom service interval is 5k km or 6 months. And as it's new bike I haven't yet got the 2 ND services 1st service for free for me. But 1st service cost like 900 rs. So you can think it may cost 1.5k to 2k for free general service. But vstorm built quality is solid I have done rough offroad trails yet no rattle noise or anything. And mileage I am getting 35km to 40km on average

Other wise.. go for v Strom ... Amazing bike.. better speed, better mileage,
better comfort(my opinion) ...

Suzuki itself claims that V-Storm is a tourer machine not a proper off roader, I took test ride of this bike and the power and feel is awesome. Did 126kmph and the engine didn't even feel any stress and the confidence of higher speed is top notch but the seat height may be an issue as I am 5'11 so it is not a problem for me. So if you are not focused on proper off-roading and want a fun-to ride touring machine with smoother and reliable engine then off course go foe V-Storm.
V Strom will give 38 milage on highway. Scram only 32.

Please do not be fooled by some reviews and the bikes aesthetics. Remember our roads in India are part highway and part off roading orientated, hence you cannot expect to just ride on a flat surface for long distances. Hence, the V-Strom does not make sense. The visor on it also doesn't deflect all the air and for long touring posture is a must. For people below 5 '5 you will be slightly slanted towards the bar end meaning shoulders will pain after 200 to 300 km. Coming to the scram, aside from the occasional punctures the bike does not feel heavy at all easy to maneuver in traffic too and you can ride on higher gears at lower speeds too. The seat though is like sitting on a very comfortable cushion. I who am 5 ft 2 in have tested both the bikes and found that the Scram is more suited for shorter riders due to its comfortable and laid back ergonomics. If you are taller than 5 5 then yeah go for the Suzuki. 😊 I don't understand what engine refinement people keep talking about the scram too has no vibration. For ex. The cb350 has alot of vibration on the handle bar and footpeg so where is the refinement and also feels slow and laggy. However, do not take my word for it and go and test ride both the bikes.
Scram 411 any day, be it slow traffic or saddling or speed rides and even off roads, just make sure you get the tyres converted to tubeless!

Yes. Super engine, especially engine cooling
vstorm beats it in speed on highways significantly and its a more reliable bike and won't pose any problems regarding its servicing in the future

As far as I have seen a bike runs 99% of time on roads and havint seen anyone who buys a bike to go off road. In fact many of the x pulses here havint seen offeoad but our roads are so poor that's why such adv bikes getting popular

Biased review.The suzuki is way more refined and polished.The engine is a gem and it's very light and sorted dynamics.
