I wonder why they decided to buff him. They probably knew he was underperforming compared to 9th anniversary standards but if they were able to buff him I don’t see why they can’t just tweak weaker new units
The character is probably what the character was always meant to be. The version that was handed to Global was a "nerfed' version because I guess Global couldnt be allowed to have this for some reason.

If anyone's curious, with 10 additional in the hidden potential, the chances that you get a 10-super turn with transformed Goku Black are roughly 0.0003%, or 1 in 330,000.
The number is so low because rare chances are a 10% chance each. I think getting one of the rare chances to proc should be seen as a "bonus", and you should never expect them to proc. He already supers a ton as is.

Setting the precedent of buffing character post release does open some things up
not really setting a precedent because its happened before. Only a handful of times though.
If they change how domain works where you can cancel domains but keep the transformed state, goku black (and super bosses in general) would sky rocket in value, his problem is just having to fight for domains between 2 broly godly mode and cmz immortal mode, that simple change would make super bosses easily one of the best teams in the game behind super heroes (maybe behind majin buu saga but idk)

I feel liike additionals on this guy is borderline unneeded because if you're gettiing so many normals, iit should be pretty common to trigger even the base 5 addiitional
U just need a reasonable additional chance so I would say like 10 the lowest and 15 the highest = 20% or 30% chance to additional
I would consider giving him a max level attack stat boost for his bronze equip, could be interesting to see how that plays out with all the stacking. Bit more of a gambler play style with relying on the supers once transformed but when it hits it really does hit

Been a fan since day 1, I hope JP players get to have a lot of fun with him, such a cool unit. Really unfortunate that the Domain problem remains, aside from that he’s such a pleasure to play with.

Imo his best build is maximise DEF equips, AA and then dodge.
This man mostly got raw defense, he needs this bonus to be really relevant defensively against the strongest SAs.
With AA, the chances to prock the AA Super get absurdly high because of how much attacks he performs in a turn, and since it procks at the end, it gives more damage than any crit could. (especially since the lion share of his damage is transformed, and he already has type advantage)
As an example, with 8 attacks in the turn and 12 AA, you "only" have 64% chance to do an AA Super. With 8 attacks in the turn and 20 AA, you have 83% chance to do an AA Super. And with 25 AA (get rid of the crit and put the rest in dodge imo), you have 90% chance to do an AA Super.
Then dodge is pretty much a given, some chance to take 0 damage is always good.
Crit, as I said, not that great... Yes you could do like 5-7m more damage with the auto attacks, but is it worth not getting the 20m AA Super or the 20% chance to dodge? I don't think so.
PS: I said with 8 attacks you have this much chance for a AA Super, but it's kinda incorrect since the AA will most likely prock BEFORE you get the 2 Super from 5 attacks and 10 attacks performed. Because of that, you most likely will "only" have 6, but it can happen that it counts the 8 if you don't get it before the other two. (kinda hard to explain lol)
Anyways, this would mean the chance become 54% with 12 AA, 74% with 20 AA and 83% with 25 AA. (so it's even more important when you think about it)

it seems like hes an insanely good slot 2 character sure he does a million normals but still is getting 33% to attack and defense and once you get the 5 and 10 attack supers hes pumping out 40+ million damage while having really good defense the last rotation he ended up doing what 60+ mil with incredible defense that could tank almost any hit in the game besides maybe a super juiced kid buu not too bad

Excited he finally got a buff he needed
I feel like his Scythe form would be considered good defensively if it didn't buff Broly and Cell Max by 20%. He can easily get over 2M DEF, and on a good turn he can even approach 3M, but he's buffing the 3M super attack to a 3.6M one so he'll still get 1 shot. I wish they would've taken away the DR before attacking and gave him some extra defensive ability after attacking so that he could at least live big boss supers in some situations.
Also do not forget depending on the boss those normals will do damage aswell. In his god mode turn he did like 5-7 mil normals.
Goku black easily is better than android 21. Android 21 has the better typing rn aswell as way better partners. But kit wise etc goku black offers way more.
A21 will do more SA than him on average since she doesn't have rare chances nor AA dependant from rainbow orbs + she offers a lot more than just damage between 2 nullifications, dodge in base after SA, dr and heal when transformed. Rose power depends on his turn limited Domain that is also not picked against Broly or Zamasu one in hard content + the number of rainbow orbs collected. So no, she has a way better kit than him, unless we talk about AoE in which i agree that Rose is better than her.

He gets 33% def per attack and could do upto 9 supers, each which raise defence, with guard on the first turn. Still RnG tho, horribly designed unit. Why would they go from having 60% damage reduction before attack and 30 after attack to just plain 60 before attack?

The community has suddenly begun to switch-up their opinion on DFE PHY Rosé Goku Black, which I wonder how much of it is based on the extra line that buffed this Rosé Goku Black recently, or if it was Truth simply speaking of Rosé in a more positive light for the unit. I’m more inclined to say it was the latter that influenced the shift in opinion, but nonetheless, I’m glad most people aren’t baselessly HATING on this PHY Rosé Goku Black anymore like they used to.
This Rosé Goku Black is certainly the hardest hitting TUR, even on weaker rotations, and up there amongst the best offensive units in the game (His best showing in the video is a 34 Million ATK stat, and accounting for his barrage of attacks and crits, his rising damage more or less adds to a sum of 140 Million ATK overall). His defense at the final “God” Turn was around 4.3 Million DEF (basing off of one comment), and his raw defense seems to eclipse the 3 million benchmark consistently in the Time Rift Domain. In the Time Rift Domain, I would say this Goku Black is contending for a Top 5 TUR since he’s just so cracked at every fundamental aspect (Best offense, OP defense, Multiplicative Stat support with Time Rift Domain, and timeless utility with Rainbow Orb Changing). Outside of the Time Rift, Rosé, even without his 10 attacks, can easily put up defensive numbers in the 1.1 million DEF range WITHOUT BIG BAD BOSSES, SUPPORT, OR GOOD RNG. With some of the aforementioned, base Rosé is calculated to have DEF surpassing ~1.5 million DEF w/ 30% DR (if you run 2 RBW orbs, have BBB active, and ONLY get guaranteed SA’s). And this can be all done by Turn One, and can reach FAR higher extents. Rosé’s base DEF will definitely be a highlight feature for Rosé’s World Tour.
Not to mention his First Turn Guard + Ki Blast nullification in-tandem with his universally strong base DEF makes him great for all short-term fights like Cell Max and MZ, whilst his Time Rift Domain counterpart would utterly bisect the likes of both Beast Gohan’s, SoH Trunks, Movie Boss Rush Super Broly, and potentially SSB Gogeta. The only fight Rosé wouldn’t be as effective in is Kid Buu due to Buu’s melee nullification (both base and Domain SA’s are melee-type), although his Guard will safely carry Black through the STR Phase, and he can likely tank a fully built up SA from Kid Buu in the Domain. (Remember how ludicrous Rosé’s post-Attack defense is)
So I’d say, put some more respect on Rosé Goku Black! He can cook like many defenders have said, and I’m almost certain Truth will change his mind of him in the World Tour. With PHY Rosé Goku Black’s buff and the upcoming Domain Update, I am in pure-hope that two other CERTAIN 2023 Future Saga Potara Fusions can receive a major buff to their kits too… (LR TEQ Corrupted Merged Zamasu & LR AGL Vegito Blue)

All goku black rose needs is a proper orb changer on the team(seza goku black) unlike Broly trio who compete with him on orbs and making domains coexist with each other and this guy is gonna be a MUST HAVE ON VILLANS WHICH HE ALREADY IS!!!
