Jebus and Tricky used to be partners, they worked together as scientists until Jebus became a turncoat and fought against the old agency he worked for, (Think of him as an deuratagonist) Tricky's old name was Hofnarr that when translated to German is Jester. Sheriff used to be a coward in Madness but in Project Nexus 2, he's seen leading an entire town, a messy place he inherited from Phobos himself. Society is still functioning even in te place of Nevada, this post apocalyptic wasteland however doesn't seem to house any source of food. Krinkels have allegedly confirmed that both Madness Combat Animations and Madness Project Nexus are connected, i.e existing in the same universe but this creates dissonance in the lore. New factions have been introduced, 'Mercs' are small time factions that went into power after the first fall of Nevada's Nexus Project, made up of AAHW traitors and other enterprises, they work for the highest bidder, first one we know is the Sheriff. Bandits inhabit the outside areas and Survivors inhabit the high buildings in the Residential Sector, both factions seem to practice cannibalism with the words. Bandits: "If you don't find anything shiny, I'm eating your kids." Survivors: "They brought their own meat!" A cult faction has been formed underneath Nevada, Living alongside the Zombies, Grave Keepers and Abominations, they are led by Crackpot and seem to follow a religion named 'The Other Place' When the night comes, Good night and good luck as V. Punk Vampires roam the streets and those seen suspicious by the Night Touch are quickly executed. The reason why the Soldat couldn't fight is because when they were being updated, this was intercepted by Deimos and Sanford in Madness 7.5 Smoking kills in Madness Combat, This is more evident with Deimos as he nearly died getting ran over by a. train, almost getting shot by the Engineer in the head, and being flashbanged by the Soldats but saved by Sanford however he was cornered and executed by a possessed QBZ 97 Engineer. There are Arenas in Nevada acting as perverse entertainment serving the elites, the rich and the celebrities. Go3lms are tall formidable giants but are gentle by nature, choosing to warn people instead of being rude and crude like the grunts.
Project Nexus is probably another canon. While the animations have one canon that matters, Project Nexus takes place in it's own story where different things happen and led to different events. I guess it's like a parallel world canon where both are legitimate canons, but take place separately. I guess the reason why is because the animations are just stuff Krinkels just made on the fly and decided to roll with what he set up while Project Nexus is built from the bottom up with everything planned.

The mag agent Hank fought in MC7 was called Torture. - the "portal" that Hank was thrown into was a magnifying chamber that turned Hank into a (half) mag. That lobster arm he gets will be explained in MC9.5 part 2 (maybe). - the hell that Hank and Sanford were dragged down into is different from the one Deimos went to when he died. Deimos went to Regular Hell™ (as well as Hank in MC9.5. It's implied he goes to hell each time he dies) while Hank and Sanford were dragged into the Auditor's self contained dimension known as Auditor Hell - separating hands from the Nevadeans bodies will cause immense pain and brief reality distortion - Jesus, aka Jebediah Christoff, use to work for Project Nexus alongside Tricky (previously known as Dr Hoffnar). Christoff's halo is actually a Nexus artefact that he stole on his way to kill Phobos. My favorite character is tricky, he’s hilarious. He becomes a god and immediately politely buys a hot dog. He also gives his enemies weapons, which aside from the fact that it’s due to his insanity and obsession with killing hank over and over again, is pretty damn gentleman like lol

Reminder that, People thinking that tricky is from fnf really isn't a problem. Why does it matter that they found out about tricky from the fnf mod? It's popular, obviously people are gonna see it. And some of those people might not be aware of madness combat. The reason getting upset over this is because people who thought tricky was from fnf are basically being shunned from an entire community. Apparently some madness fans enjoy gatekeeping (like "you're not a real fan if you think tricky was from fnf!!!"). People thinking that tricky is from fnf really isn't a problem.
Why does it matter that they found out about tricky from the fnf mod? It's popular, obviously people are gonna see it. And some of those people might not be aware of madness combat. The reason getting upset over this is because people who thought tricky was from fnf are basically being shunned from an entire community. Apparently some madness fans enjoy gatekeeping (like "you're not a real fan if you think tricky was from fnf!!!").
It's needlessly hurtful to people because they weren't in the right place or the right time to know about it.
I suppose it really isn't that big of a deal but it still bugs me to see future madness fans getting hate over not knowing about something.
