Story 1
King Krishnadevaraya was very nostalgic and reminisced about a beautiful place called Heaven he had heard of in his childhood. He wished to see such a place and poses Tenali Raman with the possibility of seeing such a place. Tenali demands ten thousand gold coins along with two months time to make this possible. The monsoon season had struck the king's heart with its beauty and King Krishnadevaraya decided to celebrate the Monsoon festival in the kingdom by honoring and rewarding a talented artist from his Kingdom. Several suggested artists who deserved to be rewarded. Tenali intervened and suggested they search for a True Artist amidst all talents. Did they find what he suggested? Was the King impressed? Seeing Tenali Sleeping at court angered the King and he ordered Tenali to leave. Tenali took his leave rather casually. One of the courtiers utilized this opportunity to shirk Tenali and this affected the King who also decided to punish Tenali. Tenali did not appear in court for over nine days. The tenth day, a tribal boy approached the King and informed him of Tenali's demise as he slipped in the river and disappeared. What do you suppose happened to Tenali?
