Hello, thank you for your explanation. I would like to ask about the function/data drying curve you enter. How do you dertermine these? Thank you in advance for your answer🙂🙏 Thank you
Hi, I have a question . Can you please specify approx. or average moisture content of dolomite lumps of size 10mm & 20mm in climates like 10 degree Celsius to 35 degree Celsius ? Please clarify.
Hey! First of all great video! It was very clear! Second I am having problems with running the final one.. I entered all the same inputs (I think.. I doubled check..) but when I run the following warning appears: WARNING OVERALL EVAPORATION RATE IS NEGATIVE. CONDENSATION OCCURRED. The only difference that I am seeing is that when I was entering the dryer specifications it appeared Operation mode: Continuous. There was also the option to put Batch but I left in continuous since if I put Batch then I wouldn't be able to insert the same inputs like you.. I suspect that it has to be because of that but I don't know where I could have gone wrong.. Thanks anyway and if you could help me that would be great! Have a great day!
Hello..thank u for your comment..to be honest I also am not sure what's really going on without dissection your simulation...but I have a hunch that it got something to do with the behavior of your component as oppose to input spec of the block...for some reason, at that particular condition water want to condense as oppose to evaporate...hope this answer your question...
Great effort thanks for the informative well prepared video. Is possible to size fluid bed dryer or rotary dryer using the dryer block?
hey, can you help me out. i want to design a coal dryer , our coal contains a lot of moisture , how can you help me?
Hi kindly elaborate why solids temperature is decreasing wrt length of dryer?

It need to be determined experimentally...journal data also works if you are investigating the same system/materials..So, it really depend

Can this work on Aspen Hysys
no sure though...I never tried..but I don't see why not. Aspen Tech acquire hyprotech in 2004 so maybe they add the same feature to hysys as well
