    Thank you, Mr. Hamid, for the excellent video on biomass gasification. Could you please explain what happens to the water that acts as an inert in the DECOMP block but is available as a reactant in the subsequent blocks? Further, I would like to commend you on adeptly balancing the reaction without knowing the molar mass of the non-conventional biomass. Thanks in advance: Dinesh Kauhaad.

    When feeding kinetic data, it requires concentration exponents. The following error is popping up: "REAC-DATA not complete: REACNO = 1. At least one exponent for the reactant must be specified."

    Thank you so much. Just a little suggestion, Sir. As I know the magnitude of DT Min is not so arbitrary, to decide whether it shall be 5 degC or 10 deg C. There is a minimum value of it. If you set the DT min too low, you will end up with having only cold end network as your video (network that only require cold utilities, it is undesirable in design point of view). Anyway, I am also new in this field. Your video help me a lot to understand about aspen energy analyzer interface. Thank you !!

      I don't think can show the enthalpy value above and below stream. Can check under view perhaps. If you move ur cursor it only show enthalpy of stream Tinitial - Tfinal. Not exactly what you want. If u solve the heat X the program can tell u enthalpy of the stream. Cost parameter can refer to design book - it depend on many things. For heat-X often it is a, b, c parameter and the equation usually like this: $ = A + B*Area^C. Hope this helps

    Can we just assume the delta Tmin? Or there is calculation for the 25 celcius heat load placement before obtain delta Tmin

      You can use any delta Tmin as long as it is greater than zero..in fact, different processing will have different recommended delta Tmin. For example, low temperature/cryogenics will use small deltaT min. In my case i just simply use 10oC

      @@sitikhadijah9750 Just want to add...if u decide to choose different deltaTmin..for example 5oC. You just need to shift your hot composite curve such that the 'neck/pinch' is 5oC. Changing delta Tmin will change heat recovery n utility usage...of course if go detail - heat-x area, no of unit etc.

      My POV, the recommended value for delta t min is shown in graphs (Cost or Area vs Delta T min) in textbook (PINCH ANALYSIS FOR ENERGY AND CARBON FOOTPRINT REDUCTION) is around 10 to 20. This typically will give maximum efficiency with little to no drawbacks. Hope that helps.
