Looking forward to watching the kitchen renovations, love the green colour, so jealous of your new utility room. In a previous house I had a fabulous utility room with so much additional storage. When I downsized the utility rooms went, I so miss it because it kept all the dirty jobs out of the kitchen.
I love your positivity among all the chaos. You really are inspirational. Your new home is beautiful, even the washing line in the garden! It’s one of my simple pleasures seeing washing drying on a line in the garden. What an enormous undertaking moving to your new home has been. I hope it’s not too long before you can live in it with happiness and comfort.
The first thing I did after dropping the children off for their first day of the new school year this morning was make a cup of tea and pop on this video. I've been waiting for a quiet house so I could properly enjoy it. So lovely to catch up on what you have been up to. The house is really starting to look like your family home. As an aside, I agree Brexit and the custom duties are a pain. Our children go to a British international school so we have to pay duties on the uniforms purchased from the official school uniform supplier because it is based in the UK. With three children, it is an expense that is hard to swallow!
Hello Charlie, I recently came across your RUclips channel, not sure how, however, I am so pleased that I found you - I love and adore what you have created. ♥
It’s all coming together, good luck to the boys especially Gus starting a new one how exciting for him and nice he has Archie. Enjoy your time back home with Coco then you can concentrate on doing what you do best sorting and making a beautiful home for them all. Take care and remember to look after yourself xxx
Thanks so much Penny, they are both very excited, Gus will be off on his first expedition next week a bonding session for the year group! Have a lovely weekend xx
You are bearing up with grace and a sense of humor. Amazed at the resources you find to crack on as you “Brits” say. The kitchen will be beautiful, love the green and the design. All will be lovely and the memory of this time will fade. You will be enjoying your family in this beautiful place
So glad the stables finally arrived - that was such a worry for you that you could have done without. The house is coming together and I’m so grateful that you are giving us ideas for our own homes. Can’t wait for your next video. ❤
Goodness, everyone needs a Theodore these days, what a gem! (And lovely orbs galore again while you were unpacking your shopping items - you have a lot of spiritual help going on there)
Wow! Everything is really coming together now. What a busy week for you. How lucky to have Theodore with you for help too. Hope your trip up to Scotland goes well & that all the children are soon settled into their new school term. Have a good week Charlie.xx 🥰
What a week! So much going on and you seem so calm, I’d of been pulling my hair out 😂. Love the colour scheme in the kitchen, it’s going to look fab when it’s all complete. Great that the stables have finally arrived and are in place. Safe travels to Scotland and enjoy the weekend, love to all ❤️

@@ask.charlie we need to remind your subscribers to “ share” ! Your helpful tutoring with home care is much appreciated. I had to smile when you said about housing your brother’s stuff. We moved with boxes belonging to our youngest son which stayed in the barn for three years. Finally he agreed to sort it all and take away…..he threw out most of it (I.e left it for us to dispose of) and left with a small carrier bag full!
Hey Charlie, you need a brabantia rotary washing line (hide it somewhere) you can fit 3 loads and I use mine March - oct. Because it’s a good make you can leave outside. I’ve had mine for 20 years and it has no rust. Outside the whole time 🍀
Referring to your son’s ears, I had problems and I have put chipped onions in a sock, heated it and when a bit cooler put it on the ear. Works wonders. 😊
Love the new house. We moved into an old farmers cottage that used to belong to an estate. We were short of room for the washing machine so we have converted the old wash house next to the barn into a utility just like you. I'm not sure how it will work out in winter but the idea works well at the moment. We had an Aga in the old house but we have settled for a smaller Everhot 60 - it's not installed yet but we cant wait for the same radiant heat cooking again. Hope all goes well with settling in.
How about investing in a couple of dehumidifiers for Cellar and Outdoor Barn Storage. They will help save your items from damp / damage if the area is not completely insulated.
Yes our Meaco dehumidifier has been a God send when we moved into a damp cold home. The air heats quicker and there is a dry clothes button. I wouldn’t be without it. Definitely comes on before putting the heating on, as it warms the air. ❤
It’s looking like it’s going to be an amazing family home for you all. Do you think you may stay there for a long time ? You are putting such heart and soul into it ❤
