The use of real world location names isn't meant to imply that the gta maps exist along their real world equivalent, rockstar just wanted people to know where they were referring to. When I first played Red Dead redemption 2 I didn't play any of the gta games beyond just driving around the worlds sometimes, so if they said "Liberty City" instead of New York I would've had no clue where they were referring to
I think a major part of proving stuff like New York exist alongside Liberty City in GTA is the music. Many of these games include popular tracks that reference the area the game is parodying, such as California Love in GTA 5, despite California being parodied as San Andreas in the GTA universe. This helps distinguish the fact that both the original location AND the GTA parody location both exist in the GTA world.
I really think the state names are just oversights. Florida was called Florida simply because they didn't name it Leonida yet for their big release, and getting the artists to re-record their songs just for the games didn't seem worth the trouble.
I'm still of the mind that red dead and gta are separate universes but they're in a situation like the witcher and cyberpunk where the universes are separate but their easter eggs seep into each other's universes
Just because real cities exist in RDR2, doesn't mean they're different universes - In GTA 3 Promotional Website, Francis International Airport mentions Vice City and Miami! (even Vice City being a parody of Miami) This proves that Rockstar not substitute for cities - In RDR2, we have the Grizzlies, one of the mountains that is inspired by the rocky Mountains, But that doesn't mean they don't exist in the universe since we have the "Rocky Mountain Bull Elk" to hunt in the game - In GTA 4, We received an email from Hossan who mentions living in Florida and Not Leonida! and we found out that in the trailer for GTA 6, Vice City is in Leonida (parody of Florida) This proves that both coexist in the Universe of GTA plus all the other connections! even with GTA 6 and RDR2 that appeared in the trailer, if you don't believe they're not in the same universe, it's just because you're closed-minded
@@MisterBig-10 You forgot that in gta there are other universes too! - 2D universe (GTA 1,2, London) - 3D universe (GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, and VC and LS stories) - HD universe (GTA IV, TLaD and TBoGT, V and VI) Vice City is a part of state Florida in 3D universe, with Miami too. Florida is officially reconned in HD universe and was replaced with Leonida. Tho irl states exist in HD universe, their mentions are not there explicit that in RDR universe.
Although the infinity killer thing has been going on for a while the main purpose of the Easter egg was actually a reference to the TV show Dexter where the main character would dump bodies into the bay covered in sheets of plastic wrap. The name of the infinity killer is also a reference to the main antagonist of the 4th season The Trinity Killer. There are a few other things that relate to the show. But overall the Infinity killer is a combination of references and legitimate stories
Huh, I’ve never heard this before. Could you share more details? What are the other things that relate to the show? Where did you hear this theory? I’m intrigued.
I’m gonna have a guess and say the mystery cannot be completely understood because the story isn’t finished yet. Gta6 may have the conclusion you’re seeking
I hate the negative comments on these vids. I appreciate the editing, way you laid out the infinity murders and its connections throughout r* history, and attempt to bring in a resurgence of the topic in the community. Even if this is just overanalyzing the story, I think it’s fun to expand and learn lore of games. I’ve always loved gta and it’s attempt to parody life in sometimes what feels like insane level of detail. I wonder if they’ll expand more in gta6 and what that has in store!
I always compared ♾️8️⃣ more to Son of Sam killer than the Zodiac killer just because of the graffiti reminds me of the true crime documentary about the Son of Sam and his kills were women 1977 indicted for 8 shootings 6 confirmed murders 11 injured
Great video! I've always believed Trevor to be the infinity killer in GTA V. Trevor mentions his 8 fathers in dialogue. The astrological sign of the Zodiac Killer (Infinity Killer) is a crab. Trevor is the only character who can purchase the Champagne Driver Blouson from the Discount Store (Crab Jacket). The definition of the word wrong'un is a dishonest/disreputable person, crook, rogue or dangerous person with a screw loose. At one point, the urban dictionary defined the word wrong'un as explosive diarrhea, something Trevor had in the mission By the Book.
Infinity killer means when the killer gets caught or killed he is replaced with another one, infinitely. It has been even since red dead redemption times. Maybe its a curse etc some sort of.
Maybe he killed in 8's as a cycle. Like he mightve done this before. Great detective work, fun fact you can move the bodies using a knife or a toredore in online. Tried to get the 3rd one on to land but lost interest fast.
I had no idea about this mystery or any of the clues. I cant remember how, but I gained access to the navy revolver and also unlocked it for rdr2. So there's at least 2 ways to get the gun.
I dont think eddie low is the infinity killer mainly beacuse of 3 things: 1.Unlike the infinity killer eddie doesnt seems to be obsesse with the number 8 (remeber that the main reason as to why abraham was pointed to be the killer was for his obsesion with the number 8). 2. The personalities of both eddie and the infinity killer are completely different, eddie is an archetypical serial killer, he acts weird and tends to be very volatile, even in the writtings in his web page you can see that he is very expressive, meanwhile the infinity killer at least for his writtings seems to have a more collective and calm personality. 3. it seems like the infinity killer wanted to achieve something with the 8 killings, unlike eddie who kills just for the sake of it.
I think I got an idea at 2:30 the yellow is the pyramid yes and the the galaxy’s and timelines can be about option A B or death wish just a guess but sounds good
6:21 I've done That and I didn't really think anything of it Just thought it was one of those crazy people from the compound that you bring people 2 with trevor
Always gotta remember, the victims being women might just be a gameplay design thing. Female bodies are more curvy and therefore have more of a distinct "human body" shape when wrapped up. Visually similar to a mummy.
I think they are obsessed with infinity cuz they are able to life infinitly. eddie low is likely killed twice within what we play througu he's trying to get rid of 8 people cuz he thinks turning infinity around will finally let him die. considering no one's noticed, "hey why is he standing back up?", he likely rots jn graves often...
I mean, let's be realistic here, you in your family could not have kids, but other family members like aunts, uncles, siblings and cousins can have kids and continue the family genes from you're far back grandpa. So, even if Eddie didn't have kids, his aunt or uncle could've because we don't know his family tree other than Eddie definitely being an only child and he's definitely related to Edmond in some way. The Unknown Guy would most likely be more directly related to Edmond than Eddie due to the fact that the Revolver was passed down through the generations compared to Eddie's Family. Or just as equal and Unknown Guy's Family got the Revolver verses Eddie's past Family. Either way, Eddie and Unknown Guy look related, Genetics for those features are very strong no matter where you branched off from Edmond in the Family Tree.
Dont know if this is any help but "Merle Abraham" can be unscrambled a few ways. Either "hammerer" (abla left over), or "ahem a rambler" seems most useful- or useless altogether.
i want to say that there are some bodies wrapped in plastic near the drainage tunnel in cayo perico, i dont know if that has any correlation, cus it might just be a cayo perico thing
the point is infinite. as in someone will always inspire to hate and commit 8 murders, that will always be found in all the titles, history repeats itself
I think of gta city names to be in game nicknames that are used more widely than actual state names, example if everyone called vegas sin city but the real name is stil vegas
Just saying this part 4 minutes in cuz I’m a nerd: GTA and Red Dead have 5 universes that have some links. 1. GTA 2D 2. Red Dead Revolver - kinda might be brought up again in red dead universe, but isn’t connected exactly. (Harlow VA is Haines in GTA 5, still works for rockstar) 3. GTA 3D (including manhunt and bully) - sets up the universe they want 4. GTA HD - Reforms the world they wanted and characters existing 5. Red Dead Redemption and L A Noire - RDRedemption has campfire stories for Revolver, making it seem that game itself was a campfire story, hence why it’s another universe. Both RDR and LA Noire use real places and are more “realistic”, making me believe it’s same universe.
This is somehow confusing but my two cents take... that it's just a refrence to a movie named "God told Me to 1976 " and it's about a detective investigates a murder cases and all the killers have one connection after they comitted their murders they say "God told me to".
could the infinite eight be in reference to the amount of generations of killers there are? even if the LS slasher isnt Eddie Low, the slasher could be like a cousin or sibling, so i dont think the family tree theory is dead just yet. Eight generations of killers does seem like an infinite killing spree shared by the family.
This might be far feched but the letter B is quite similar to the number 8 when it comes to their characteristics when i saw the B on the blackwater athletics team i thought they where the number 8. Might this be a link?
I don't think its an immortal nor even a reincarnated killer, but more a copy cat killer. The connection both Eddie and the LS Slasher is their connection to Edmund Lowry. Edmund Lowry was a serial killer back in 1898/1899, with tons of horrific displays of murder and bodies, all horribly mangled and barely recognizable. This isn't something that can be swept along with other killers, Edmund stood out with his horrific displays. This is something that would show up years after the murders happened. Edmund Lowry made a "statement". Eddie Low (possibly not even his real name) would be inspired by those murders, not because of the statement but because of the feeling of it. We know he's killed a lot of people, both in LS and LC, but none of it is similar to Edmund Lowry's scale. Eddie Low was more inspired by the feeling, he wanted to feel but still felt nothing. Murder after murder, he still isn't satisfied. Even attacking joggers similar to Edmund, Eddie didn't feel the satisfaction. This led to his downfall by Niko. The LS slasher on the other hand would have been the same as Eddie. Inspired by the actions of Edmund. But unlike Eddie, the LS slasher murdered for the thrill of it. He made statements, taunting people with a message, and the clues near the message. He had the thrill of the chase, the taunting of people. Inspired by Edmund's displays, he decided to do the same in a way that its more taunting than making a statement in blood. The LS slasher became over confident, that anyone who got close would just meet the same fate as his victims. This attracted unwanted attention. The online character did follow those clues, but obviously better equipped than past victims, was able to take down the LS slasher. Both Eddie and The LS slasher aren't connected by relation, but by belief. Belief that Edmund had done something right in his statements, but smudged by their own understandings. Eddie and The LS slasher are just copy cats of someone who had an impact in the world of murder. But the infinity killer did soon follow. For me, Eddie and the infinity killer are not the same person. Eddie was more inspired by the killing of Edmund, therefore he would have killed in a similar fashion. The infinity killer on the other hand, was more tidy, more focuses, he left barely any clues that would have led him to his capture. He played the game smart. The infinity killer, despite what the media says, is still alive. He's still out there. This is evident with the location where you find the newspaper clippings, the messages, if he was indeed captured and died in prison, who would have put the newspaper clippings there. I have a feeling that the Infinity 8 killer is going to be a new player in gta online. To be fair, he probably didn't even leave LS. He layed low but was still active. He isn't the infinity 8 killer, but just infinity. His kills only going up and up and up. With his next sights, because of media ridicule, might as well be the new producer in Vinewood productions. He might pay Michael De Santa a visit someday...
Yeah I had a bit in there about reincarnation that I deleted. I was trying to suggest maybe the IK was being reincarnated, but the only evidence I could find for that being a thing was the bigfoot hunter. The thing is, the bigfoot hunter is incarnate in the same form in both games. whereas the infinity killer takes different forms. So there’s an inconsistency which I deemed too large to ignore & i scrapped the theory.
I looked pretty throughly into this- couldn’t find anything that convinced me it was connected to anything specific. although I agree it is highly interesting
found this on gta fandom "Eddie Low is a truck driver in San Andreas". What is the chance that there are multiple "eddie lows" in gta timeline or is this a hint?
The people who say gta and rdr2 aren’t in the same universe don’t know anything because when you play gta online you get an email from someone called van Der linde and you can unlock weapons from rdr2
I have a theory it dosent have any evidence but it’s good: so big foot is actually just a person so mabye he is part of the low/lowry family and he committed the infinity murders which links the doomsday green and red mural. Again just a theory with no evidence but yeah :)
RDR 1 - "I MNFINITY" GTA 4 - Eddie Low & Chiliad8888 GTA 5 - (wild goose chase with unfinished content and red herrings - Merle is a fallguy and there's hardly a story here) RDR2 - Edmund Lowry Jr. (like Eddie Low?) I think this goes without saying, but there's not an actual story or easter egg here. These are all just references and ways to get you to go "POG!!" The Mt. Chiliad Mystery was never finished and there is no answer to anything. Appreciate the content farm though... ugh.
The most expansive the story gets is how Eddie Low was doing business in San Andreas, left the bodies, framed Merle Abrahams via using his family as threats (he tells you this in GTA4 while he rants) went to Liberty City, met Niko, kills some more, and eventually gets shot by Niko and there ends the modern Infinity Killer. Real nail-biting, huh?
I suspect Ursula is somehow involved and ties somehow into why the bodies present as "female" but the reported victims were male. She has split personalities also having a male personality of Johnny, induced by childhood trauma. We know that part of GTA as a setting is parodying the internalized fascism of America. 8 is linked with many fascist hate groups. I think she is a hints at the kind of people that were targeted, and why. We know Eddie was uhhhh, kind of a pervert, and violent. My suspicion is that the infinity killer victims were targeted not just as joggers, but people who are non gender conforming. Perhaps he was acting on a mixture of sexual obsession, and internalized repulsion. I think the slasher is Eddie Low. I think the RUMORS OF HIS DEATH WERE GREATLY EXAGERATED (meme but I think it's just that he survived his supposed death in GTA 4)
if its tied to gta 5 chilliad then rd2 wouldnt be involeved i think its time locations black phone number the train track stuff cypher then sggragate raarange could be something along with overlaying mound chiliad meral over map certain ways
Anyone that thinks RDR and GTA don’t exist in the same universe should be ignored 🤷🏽 R* cleared that up with the character creator for online, your ancestors can be several of the characters across multiple games 🥴🥴 anyway great work! 👍🏽👌🏽
You do realize that the character creator uses a Father and mother figure, they're not distant ancestors. on top of this, it's pretty clearly non-canonical, Claude, John, Misty and Niko were thrown in as homages and for if people wanted their character to look like them. I Don't think RDR and GTA exist in the same universe, but i do think they overlap to an extent, as for the cities etc.., Rockstar are known for having plenty of oversights, this isn't new and they absolutely retcon stuff if needed.

Exactly, real cities exist elsewhere in the universe
Fairly confident song lyrics and titles are non-canon.
Great work on this video!
Yo i recently got into gta 5 conspiracies after watchibg from afar for a whike and this is sick as heck dude!
I'm still of the mind that red dead and gta are separate universes but they're in a situation like the witcher and cyberpunk where the universes are separate but their easter eggs seep into each other's universes
Friend, they are different franchises
GTA 5 & RDR2 are from the same universe
Just because real cities exist in RDR2, doesn't mean they're different universes
- In GTA 3 Promotional Website, Francis International Airport mentions Vice City and Miami! (even Vice City being a parody of Miami) This proves that Rockstar not substitute for cities
- In RDR2, we have the Grizzlies, one of the mountains that is inspired by the rocky Mountains, But that doesn't mean they don't exist in the universe since we have the "Rocky Mountain Bull Elk" to hunt in the game
- In GTA 4, We received an email from Hossan who mentions living in Florida and Not Leonida! and we found out that in the trailer for GTA 6, Vice City is in Leonida (parody of Florida) This proves that both coexist in the Universe of GTA
plus all the other connections! even with GTA 6 and RDR2 that appeared in the trailer, if you don't believe they're not in the same universe, it's just because you're closed-minded
@@MisterBig-10 ok different universes thanks man
@@thedarkderp2520 ok Closed-minded and slowhead
@@MisterBig-10 You forgot that in gta there are other universes too!
- 2D universe (GTA 1,2, London)
- 3D universe (GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, and VC and LS stories)
- HD universe (GTA IV, TLaD and TBoGT, V and VI)
Vice City is a part of state Florida in 3D universe, with Miami too.
Your GTA Online character is canonically a descendant of Dutch Van Der Linde, which is how you get the golden revolver.
Why are people making stuff up?
I’m gonna have a guess and say the mystery cannot be completely understood because the story isn’t finished yet. Gta6 may have the conclusion you’re seeking
Eddie low might be a character aware of his multiverse existence - hence the obsession with infinity, death, and lack of feeling.
WTH! I just discovered the part 1, entered the channel and boom, second part. Nice
the caddie cameo was a nice touch lmaoooo 2:09
RUclips so crazy I thought of the murals today and here I am through my home page

good content, i watched part 1 a while ago, brilliantly done.
The lost third member of the naked brothers band is back with another banger gta theory vid? Hell yeah
I just watched the first part last week and loved it now there’s a part 2 this is actually so perfect
CAN YOU FIND ME had me rolling
If you look at the yellow one, it kinda looks like volume marks Just like the one you’ll find on Voice memos 2:19
Infinity killer means when the killer gets caught or killed he is replaced with another one, infinitely. It has been even since red dead redemption times.
Maybe its a curse etc some sort of.
This work is great, keep it up!
really good video, keep up the mysteries please
Maybe he killed in 8's as a cycle. Like he mightve done this before. Great detective work, fun fact you can move the bodies using a knife or a toredore in online. Tried to get the 3rd one on to land but lost interest fast.
I had no idea about this mystery or any of the clues. I cant remember how, but I gained access to the navy revolver and also unlocked it for rdr2. So there's at least 2 ways to get the gun.
10:12 even El Rubio, a drug lord would leave no ttraces of his victims
A sequel to the video i found your channel from? Colour me interested
Great work on your videos! I think Eddie Low and Edmund Lowry are the same person
The birthmark guy connection in red dead 2 to the guy of the cult in gta 5 is the living proof that red dead and gta are in the same universe lol
I dont think eddie low is the infinity killer mainly beacuse of 3 things:
1.Unlike the infinity killer eddie doesnt seems to be obsesse with the number 8 (remeber that the main reason as to why abraham was pointed to be the killer was for his obsesion with the number 8).
I think they are obsessed with infinity cuz they are able to life infinitly. eddie low is likely killed twice within what we play througu
he's trying to get rid of 8 people cuz he thinks turning infinity around will finally let him die. considering no one's noticed, "hey why is he standing back up?", he likely rots jn graves often...
What do you mean by the “standing back up” part?
@@walljumpcreations he is feeling the pain of death for extended periods of times, instead of immediately reviving.
Make a video on the Strange Man please! One of my fav depictions of divinity in video games
holy this documentation is extremely detailed and interesting, props to you
Has anyone ever hung out with the whole crew and jogged around the map before? Could be a crazy secret encounter
The dlc's show and prove that rdr and gta is in the same universe
I think Edmond reincarnated infinitely with some ritual involving sacrificing people.
Dont know if this is any help but "Merle Abraham" can be unscrambled a few ways. Either "hammerer" (abla left over), or "ahem a rambler" seems most useful- or useless altogether.
If there are letters left over then it's not an anagram
i want to say that there are some bodies wrapped in plastic near the drainage tunnel in cayo perico, i dont know if that has any correlation, cus it might just be a cayo perico thing
how far did you get into the video bro
@@walljumpcreations far enough!

That's just creepy at the end. And not a good way.I change that.
don’t like the worms huh?
Cant forget the book in lesters gaff written by a J.Marston
the point is infinite. as in someone will always inspire to hate and commit 8 murders, that will always be found in all the titles, history repeats itself
I think of gta city names to be in game nicknames that are used more widely than actual state names, example if everyone called vegas sin city but the real name is stil vegas
Just saying this part 4 minutes in cuz I’m a nerd:
GTA and Red Dead have 5 universes that have some links.
1. GTA 2D
2. Red Dead Revolver - kinda might be brought up again in red dead universe, but isn’t connected exactly. (Harlow VA is Haines in GTA 5, still works for rockstar)
3. GTA 3D (including manhunt and bully) - sets up the universe they want
4. GTA HD - Reforms the world they wanted and characters existing
5. Red Dead Redemption and L A Noire - RDRedemption has campfire stories for Revolver, making it seem that game itself was a campfire story, hence why it’s another universe. Both RDR and LA Noire use real places and are more “realistic”, making me believe it’s same universe.
In Manhunt 2 you can find as a easter egg in "Broadcast Interrupted" a cowboy tv show that the protagonist looks oddly similar to Red Harlow
Eight generations of killers does seem like an infinite killing spree shared by the family.
there are also songs about los angeles and california in GTA 5 so i agree with the statement on 3:20
yeah.....or rockstar just didn't want to spend time and money to make the artists rewrite and rerecord their songs.
He might pay Michael De Santa a visit someday...
idk if this is common knowledge but madam nazar from rdo has an arcade machine in one of the businesses inside the office i can’t remember specifics
I just don’t get how the message was written on the wall of a submarine.
Did merryweather catch the guy?
i believe the reincarnation could be a viable way to go as the dude who tells you to kill bigfoot in both gta v and rdr1 look very similar
Yo I love this series so far but for reference lemoyn is Louisiana not Florida and Saint Denis is New Orleans and the swamp are all Louisianan swamps
There's also the song in the game Nine is God which is about the mystery which should should have mentioned just a small bit
I looked pretty throughly into this- couldn’t find anything that convinced me it was connected to anything specific. although I agree it is highly interesting
3:00 Oh god, they’re doing the DC Comics thing of having their fictional places and the real world equivalents boy exist in their world
found this on gta fandom "Eddie Low is a truck driver in San Andreas". What is the chance that there are multiple "eddie lows" in gta timeline or is this a hint?
He's a guy you can hear on the trucker radio who gets mocked for having the same name as Eddie Low
You ever been sniped at in an invite only session just one shot over by sandy shores it happens in story mode too
The people who say gta and rdr2 aren’t in the same universe don’t know anything because when you play gta online you get an email from someone called van Der linde and you can unlock weapons from rdr2
The gun is definitely cursed lol
I have a theory it dosent have any evidence but it’s good: so big foot is actually just a person so mabye he is part of the low/lowry family and he committed the infinity murders which links the doomsday green and red mural. Again just a theory with no evidence but yeah :)
I’m late for part 2 😭
RDR 1 - "I MNFINITY"
GTA 4 - Eddie Low & Chiliad8888
GTA 5 - (wild goose chase with unfinished content and red herrings - Merle is a fallguy and there's hardly a story here)
RDR2 - Edmund Lowry Jr. (like Eddie Low?)
I think this goes without saying, but there's not an actual story or easter egg here.
Real nail-biting, huh?
do you know any where they have cypherd seggragated rearranged the codes/ letters along the maps train tracks
It expects it to be seen because there. Games glitch every once in a while and it's possible just to see it.
I truly believes it’s a family generation thing
Didn't Rockstar confirm RDR and GTA are separate?
No
Yes
Maybe
Hopefully all of this adds up to the mountain egg easter shit
Its time travel. Its always time travel.
if its tied to gta 5 chilliad then rd2 wouldnt be involeved i think its time locations black phone number the train track stuff cypher then sggragate raarange could be something along with overlaying mound chiliad meral over map certain ways
