In this video I will be taking you to 19th century Italy where Niccolo Paganini would shock the word with his amazing skills with the violin. He was an Italian Violinist and composer and was the most accomplished and celebrated musician of his time, he is also arguable the greatest violinist to ever live and was considered to be a musical genius. But it was rumoured that he had made a deal with the devil, acquiring magical powers that allowed him to master the instrument beyond the reach of anyone else. This is his story.

Paganini was history's first true Rockstar. He truly lived that life
Have you read about the life of Mozart? He lived that life too, well before Paganini. He could hear a tune and play it back without error. He was a true prodigy. He wrote his first opera as a child.
@@R.N.LosAngeles I was speaking more to the fact that he was a alcoholic womanizing musical celebrity living life on the darker side
@@jameshughes525 Your description completely applies to Mozart as well.
@@HRPufnstufable never heard that about Mozart before I'm wondering if there are difference in degrees of debauchery
He really did!!
I think jealousy is what caused so many people to despise him. He was 1 of the world's greatest musicians of his time and people are hateful and despicable when it comes to geniuses, the 'selling of the soul to the devil' is common to disparaging such gifted individuals. I would have loved to have seen him in person at 1 of his concerts.
My God , could You Imagine if He was still Alive and went Metal ?🤯
@@BrotherBadger123 For some reason, classical/symphonic/and orchestral music pairs well with metal & rock.
@@BrotherBadger123 yeah I was just thinking.
If he was alive today he would be on stage with an Ibanez wearing black leather coat and head banging.
He had his early version of head banging.😂
@@DocHolliday1851exactly... play BACH or paganini in distortion and add drums...
Here you go; Metal
The devils influence in music is very apparent lol the artists themselves were not hiding it but you still believe otherwise.
Somewhat similar to the Robert Johnson story.
He also made a deal with the devil to become a great musician and also died of syphilis.
Love these videos!
Thank you so much for watching Chris!
Sorry Robert Johnson was poisoned in a broken seal bottle of whiskey
Idk which musician it was but apparently in his sleep he saw the devil and was offered to sell his soul to be able to play amazingly. When he agreed with the deal the devil played a tune and when he woke up he tried to recreate it but later said it wasn't nearly as good as what he had heard and that it was the most beautiful tune he had ever heard
@@ghengiskhan9308 I believe you're talking about Giuseppe Tartini & The Devil's Trill.
@@williamsholly600 True but his death certificate stated syphilis.
He lived a very faced paced lifestyle so it's easy to see why some would think he'd sold his soul to the devil in order to achieve all he had in such a short span of time. Shame because Niccolo clearly had massive talent.
Huge talent! Thank you so much for watching Stacy!
Satan gives you talent. At a price
@@maggiemae7539 very true
"He would later describe his guitar as his greatest companion." From a fellow guitar player, that was an automatic like from me and a smile.
Thank you so much for watching! I can completely understand that, you can get lost whilst playing an instrument, almost like your in a trance
I think that is sad, and only describes base and lonely existence. But that's what he traded for the soul...tragic
👑✝️👑
Yes!!! Definetly
@@KingsVerity1979amn it...🙄 you Christians.... it's not base...its the opposite of that.
This rumor
It's an insult to the man's legacy...
He never sold his soul to the devil to play well...
It's just people who dont know better that started that rumor. People assigning the supernatural to great skill.
And Paganini used the rumors to advance his career. Using their gullibility.
@@kronoscamron7412 ... I wasn't referring to the legend of this man selling his soul to the devil as base.
I was referring to the lifestyle that he lived as base....and it was, base.
He was definitely an extraordinary musician. But his talent is overshadowed by his reprobate and degenerate lifestyle. His incessant intoxication with alcohol, and drugs. And the sexual immorality and whoring he constantly immersed himself in.
That is base.
The selling of the soul is just the natural progression, I suppose. If indeed it did happen. I wouldn't doubt that it did. Surely wouldn't put it past him. Honestly dude, you should look around. Nowadays you can see that most of the famous celebrities and musicians seem to have some association with the occult. Almost as if THEY sold their soul. Or at least made to believe they have in exchange for fame and money.
Doesn't matter if you like Christians or not... Most people don't. And that's exactly what Jesus said would happen.

† † †
And that's mostly because we tell you the truth. The truth offends. Especially when you live your life on the other side of it which most people do nowadays.
It's always interesting to me how angry you people get though.
Nevertheless I'd like to extend an invitation to you. And I would welcome you into the family of God if indeed you were interested in seeking something more than what this world has to offer...🫱🏼🫲🏽

16 For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world.
17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever."

Enjoyed the story Ollie beautiful art work as always a interesting a guy this Niccolo was such talent smart at 57 year's of age he still died a fairly young man could of possibly been the Devil but that being said him being a alcoholic his lifestyle in general caught up with him
I agree Robert! Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video!
Great video, always. I just wanna say...
Why has no one made a stylized biopic about this man yet???

Great episode *Ollie ... Thank You* loved this one ... love these obsessive ones & no he did not sell his soul to a Devil ... he gave himself over to vice/s & paid a heavy price for that
Yes, giving yourself over completely to vice will make you pay for it in the longrun.... Thank you so much for watching!
He did sell his soul to the devil by giving himself over to vice.
no i know for a fact nikki sold his soul/and both his parents souls to ole’ lucy for his violin skills.
Just stumbled on your channel. I like it! You'll be added to my feed 🎉
So dang glad I found this channel!! You have done great work with your channel and I am eating these videos up and loving it. Thanks again for your hard work

There is a similarity among all those great artists is that they are all tortured soul.... that is how they become great and made all those masterpieces...❤
Wow! I'm quite surprise to see you take on a classical music composer. I knew about Paganini!
Thank you so much for watching Dee! His life was so interesting I thought I would have to do video on him, I hope you enjoyed it!
There is the legendary story of Paganini accidentally breaking a string during a performance. The audience were so amazed by the fact he could continue as though nothing had happened, he made a point of deliberately repeating "the accident" thereafter. Egotistical? Surely not 😄😄😄
Just smart...I guess. And a bit mischievous.
Although it takes a pro to file a string that it breaks when he wants and not before.
He is amazing. A real genius. He was right, he will live forever thrue his legacy..❤️
Be so good in your craft, that everyone thinks it is not humanly possible! That's Paganini for you
FACT : he was an awesome string player, ................ as for the supernatural part : thanks for the cool video !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for watching ! I hope you enjoyed the video!!!
He was a typical genius who found himself self- medicating in various ways. What other options were there at the time?
It seems to me that he may have. Another great program.
Thank you so much for watching Nora! I hope you enjoyed the video!!!!
what a life he lived
So he was the first rock star. An i have always found it funny . That in the old Days if one could do something special. He/she was in pact with the Devil 😅😅
He really lived that life!!! And yes, many theories about that were flying around in the old days...... I hope you enjoyed the video!
Nothing new under the sun. Look at hollyweird. Hollyweird promotes sin. All sin
David Garrett , the violinist, played Paganini in a movie. And Garrett’s life mirrored Paganini’s.
I like David garret and dont know much about his life.
But he was too handsome to be paganini .
Watch XXI Century: Paganini rocks .
I imagine paganini looked like this guy... skinny longface sickly pale visage.

Hiya Ollie, An interesting story! I've never heard of Niccolo before. It must have been amazing to hear him. I'm not sure about selling his soul to the devil? What for and why? I've just woke up and maybe I'm not getting something...will listen again, later. Thank you so much Ollie. 👏😄❤️

Guitar as constant companion ... speaking of this theme... there is an episode of *Columbo* starring *Johnny Cash* that reinforces this theme: *Columbo: Swan Song 1974* ... check it out 🎸🎸🎸🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻
I'm going to have to seek out adaptations of this man's story, sensible or sensational.🎭
Thank you so much for watching!!! I hope you enjoyed it!
David Garrette played him in a movie. The devils violinist. David’s life mirrored Paganini
@@maggiemae7539 thank you
I don't know why I could see either Johnny Depp or Keanu Reeves portraying him in a biopic
1000 % YES ! In 1835 he convinced the people in Naples that I ( my past life ) was in league with the dark side - burned in my own home
Now we know the origin of the saying in Spanish of " no seré el Paganini " ( I'm not going to be the Paganini ) means " to don't be the victimized ".
See, when you are keenly aware of your poverty, naturally high strung, and also keenly aware of your latent tuberculosis, you might live a very intense and fanatically serious life.
All musicians visit the crossroads.
Niccolò Paganini was such a gifted violinist, people thought he sold his soul to the devil. Some thought he was a metaphorical musical God, others thought he literally got his virtuosity from a deal with the Devil. Even during his life, a legend that he had sold his soul to the devil in exchange for his preternatural abilities was widespread. Paganini himself claimed that his talent came from a guardian angel, but his uncanny mien and infamous womanizing somewhat undercut his position. Niccolò Paganini earned the moniker The Devil's Violinist due to the astonishing prowess of his violin playing, which was often attributed to an otherworldly source, the devil himself.
In June 1834 Paganini was publicly accused of abducting Charlotte Watson, the 18-year-old daughter of a business associate in London.
Never sell your soul.
what the name of the song of myuu?

good video
Hence's the lie of the devil.
Lucifer was a musical cherubim the most beautiful of God's creations and the leader of the heavenly choir. So there's no wonder why we often hear stories of people selling their souls for musical gifts, and Satan readily supplying them.
Many of the stars and celebrities we hear and see nowadays seem to have some pact with the devil that some of them have even spoken of in public.
The devil is the prince of this world and offers you everything in it in exchange for everlasting Hellfire and anguish...and the path is wide headed to destruction, where there will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.
But narrow is the path and hard as a way that leads to life eternal.
May God lead us and keep us. Amen.
PRAISE BE TO GOD !!! selah.

It has been speculated Paganini was afflicted with Marfan syndrome, hence his tall and thin appearance. Also he had very long fingers with great flexibility. Marfan syndrome brings with it a host of many other health issues, interestingly, people with Marfan syndrome tend to be highly intelligent.
Typical with fame and fortune, in Paganini case, brings a life of debauchery. Back in Paganini's time religion was a powerful influence. With Paganini's life style, appearance and his incredible talent, of course Paganini was deemed to have sold his Soul to the devil. Ignorance reigned supreme back then, has it does now.

nikki sold his soul to ole’ lucy. his hands were larger and his fingers longer than even steven vai’s.
I wonder where or when did he meet the Devil
At a crossroads at midnight under the full moon.
Wasn't that how Robert Johnson did it?
The Devil went down to Georgia. Perhaps it was there.
He wanted to be rich and famous at any cost. Satan comes at you at things you desire. You would do anything to acquire them. They do for Satan willingly.
at the crossroads in mississippi. it’s the only place in the world that you can contact and make a deal with ole’ lucy.
I have a viola ... it still has the frets on it 😠😠😠
i'm the 999th person to like :OOO
Paganini was the Elvis of his time. He might very well have sold his soul to the Devil. I believe it's very possible. That's how I feel about Yngwie Malmsteen as well. Yngwie is the world's best Guitarist if EVER there was, and I don't think anyone has even come close to his performances. After a near fatal car accident which put him in a coma and critically damaging his picking hand, he narrowly survived and after crucial physical therapy, he made a full recovery. He played better than ever. So, I ask you, isn't possible to make such a deal to be the BEST in the WORLD, your passion of being the best musician of All Time??! Yes!! I think it IS VERY POSSIBLE!! Just listen to "Black Star" or better yet, WATCH HIM play it!! I can say this about Paganini and Malmsteen, they both give me chills all over my body when I'm listening to them!! I can't say that too often with musicians. They're Very Rare.🤘🏻
Selling ones soul to the devil is all bullshit, because he doesn't own anything on earth. He can't persuade you to do anything against your own will. He may make a suggestion but, the final answer lies within the person. Paganini was just a well practiced, gifted dedicated musician that surpassed all others. Every time a musician plays longer and harder than any other on earth, they are always associated with the devil. Practice makes perfect. If a person lives every minute of their life with any talent, they will get the fruits of their labors. Plain and Simple. Paganini like Beethoven are the product of millions of hours of practice and the reward is Perfection. Period!
nickki did sell his soul to ole’ lucy. to this day no violinist has come close to pags in violin skills. you have to face it. he made a deal with ole’ lucy
LOL... No, Paganini did not sell his soul to this devil. First he does not exist and second a soul is something that can't be sold to anyone. All souls belong to God and you can't steal from the old man himself. 🤣
…I don’t believe in all that glowering satanic crap. The guy was simply unique - a chid prodigy, as stated in this clip. Even a bass hack such as myself knows that any instrument will sound ten different ways when ten different people approach them. People love a good rumor. Fodder that keeps everyone talking.
Fame and money is nothing the next life is everything Jesus Christ SAVE US
amen!
Absolute nonsense.

What such an excellent story.. when I was a child I heard about Paganini and I was shocked! About its talent and the so called pact. Thanks for the upload and lovely image's
He didn't sell his soul. So many ppl that are birth into property and dysfunction, have surprised us with amazing talent. He may have been talented and famous, but from the sound of his life he was unhappy, sick, and alone.
He lived a rock star life really, very controversial indeed! I am sure he liked to shock people with his life style, and clearly super intelligent with such great musical skills.

Its rumored he had the disease Ehlers Danlos which makes a person more stretchy among a lot of other things but that aspect helps in playing music. I also have ehlers danlos and have a very large reach with my hands due to how my fingers can stretch from each other. The disease is quite crippling in some cases so you don't really want it just to help with music.
I heard about that! Anyways Thank you so much for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video James
What a Great story, the sacrifices of a man to Master such a beautiful instrument. Even if he did sold his soul his sacrifice inspired more opportunities for the New Generations. He won't be forgotten for his work

He was vile. He chose that life. He could have chosen the right path. But he didn’t
I mean violin is not an easy instrument... it's guitar with added steps...
The bow placement and angle takes dedication to master.
Awesome. Was hoping maybe you would cover him.
I hope you enjoyed my take on him!!
I went to private school in Brunei for elementary. They had an assembly with a visiting violinist who told us about Paganini and his deal with the devil. I’ll never forget that music or performance. Thanks Ollie for this upload. 🙌
Same thing happened down in georgia. Someone should put this story to music.
He was beyond Epic, I think being a Prodigy, and his Physical Appearance added with his Life Style, He Fed off the Rumors . I had Heard that He actually had a Man Dressed like a Demon come out and Dance on Stage with Him to Freak out the Audience . 🎻🔥👹😱🤯😎🤘💯🤣 What I wouldn't give to have had a Front row Seat to his Concerts.
Lovely story. Perhaps I should become a patron! Well done Ollie
I love this man's work no doubt.
I think he was extremely talented, but the pressure he had to endure from his parents and society from a young age, and he retaliated / lashed out by descending into a life of debauchery; the so called " medicine ' he was prescribed only hastened his journey to his deathbed; his refusal of the last rites must have been because he didn't think he would die so suddenly.
Or maybe he didn't think he deserved to have them administered to him.
As for the so called witness who saw two Niccolos, I think he saw his doppelganger in the audience since his health was already failing.
A musical prodigy. No. He was just gifted. The medical interventions with mercury were responsible. Mercury crosses the blood brain barrier and makes mush of the digestive system.
Thank you so much for watching Ayape! I hope you enjoyed the video! And yes, he was very gifted from a young age.....
It's evident he was a prodigy based on his pedagogy. He's also credited with inventing several violin techniques, pioneering the romanticism of virtuosos and many of the things people consider commonplace in concerts today. This is all on top of being a master of self promotion and ultimately laying the foundation for many of the biggest bands / musicians from the last century.
Made me remembered with tiny tim. He made a little things become big and Authoritative and gives me goosebumps
Full of nonsense... Where did you get your information??????
Hardwok, dedication, passion, discipline ❌️
Sold his soul to demon ✅️
You know he's good when people can only explain his skill by saying he sold his soul to the devil
Why did you miss the story he told about the time the devil appeared in his dream and played a song, which he later composed?
I think it was called the devil's sonata
No he did not even he if he he is still goated and will always be remembered rip

He must have been the inspiration for a horror story I recently read.
What story did you read?
Its interesting the sensibility to refer 'talent' to a potentially better source of guidance. Engaged teachers are such an influence. And why the dark tone?
One thing i learn while reading the comments and listening to these stories is that , reading or listening the same thing , people will take different lessons and/or interpret it based on that perceived notion
I got shocked how he memorized everything and a part of the elites just wowed me
Can't sell something you don't own no one owns their own soul
Wah 😱 we share the same birthdate
Good afternoon allowed x
The thing is the devil never had his soul. You see our souls are not our property. They're not ours to sell or to trade, they belong to Christ.
He believed the LIE.
Had he known that the only way the devil would get his soul was if he rejected God until the end. And he probably believed that it was a done deal, and that it could not be undone, and so he never tried to rectify his mistake and repent of his many sins.
Tragic...😔
