HP Chromebook 14 - Motherboard Repair (Part 1)

Hi everybody, this is the second of a batch of laptops that I bought which were described as having "motherboard failure". Unfortunately with this one I don't even have the correct power adapter, so in this video I go through the process of providing power by using my desktop power supply.

You are incredibly methodical in your analysis. You must have taken Logic classes in school.
I have three Dell Inspiron 3180 netbooks, and they are all horrible. With either 32gb or 64gb eMMC, and limited RAM, the performance is terrible. They run ChromeOS and Linux Mint fine, but Windows 10 is a very unpleasant user experience.
