Of course I don't mind at all Linda.. please feel free. MS is so very difficult to explain to people, you must have witnessed some of the blank expressions when you've tried your best to explain how strange your feet or legs or whatever other part of your body is feeling. MS is an invisible illness, and it is really hard for people to understand what they can't actually see, but its not their fault. I'm glad my analogy of the electrical wiring and the rubber insulating is helpful. Best Regards - Neil.
Hey Neil, allow me to introduce myself. My name's Jim, I am 58 years old I live in Huntington Beach California. Married 34 years, two daughters, one 6 month old grand daughter and a wonderful beautiful wife. You should be so lucky to have an awesome woman yourself.......oh wait, you are. : ) I believe this coming Monday (November 13) I will be "officially" diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I've viewed a good number of your videos and want to thank you for the time and effort you have invested in them. Is it possible to connect with you on a bit more of a personal level like via email? If so, I would really like to do that. How do we go about this, assuming you too would be all good with such an arrangement? BTW, I am now a subscriber of your channel. Thank you, Jim
+lee waken Hey Jim, got me there for a minute when your account says Lee Waken😉 Good to hear from you, and yes we are indeed lucky to have awesome and supportive wife’s and families. I’m guessing you’ve been having symptoms for quite some time and figured a lot of it out yourself. Nobody wants an MS diagnosis but for me it was a relief because it was an answer to all the weird stuff going on with my body. Yeah of course it’s possible to contact me, my email address is neil.bradley@hotmail.com .. my preferred method is Facebook Messenger which is a private messaging App (it’s a bit more real time than email), if you have this just do a search for my email. Alternatively it’s fine to fire an email over, no probs. Cheers, Neil.
+Neil Bradley Thanks for your reply, Neil. My diagnoses happened at the end of an extremely stressful year as well. I started a very stressful position at work, found out my boyfriend of five years was cheating, and my cat disappeared, all in the same year.
I'm really sorry to hear that.. I do understand. My separation circumstances were the same. I was also cheated on, but I had a family (two young children at the time). Lost everything and had to start again through absolutely no fault of my own, didn't even have a tea spoon to my name. VERY STRESSFUL. I believe this triggered the condition. Loosing your cat must have been very upsetting, totally get this.. love cats. You might have caught sight of Molly on some of my videos. How are you coping with your condition? Take care.
Well thank you Zanne, that's very kind of you to say so. Oh yes, we've now currently two pairs (male & female) black birds fighting for territory. I'm not quite sure who is going to win, but rest assured in this cold whether we are currently having they are being fed plentiful. I love wildlife, and recently I've actually started filming it in more details, especially the beautiful winter Robin we've got at the moment, he's so charming! I'm going to put some videos up on my channel soon just as soon as I've cut all the footage, so you might like to watch out for them. I hope Zanne, that you are feeling well.. once again thank you for you comment and I look forward to hearing from you again perhaps soon. Kind regards - Neil.
Thank you so much for having the courage to do these vlogs, it's awesome. I want to feature you and these type of vlogs on Headliner. It's a discussion app so people (like me) can reply with video comments to your videos and actually talk about it. So I could, for instance, ask you how you're doing face to face. It's a great place to raise awareness and be able to talk with other people who have MS or otherwise know people with MS. Even the people who don't are interested in supporting and learning how to help. Here's an example: headlinerapp.com/video/12095/ If you're interested please let me know and I'll get your video featured and the discussion going.
Hey there, and thanks for the comment. Thanks for the information, I'll check it out! Although, at the moment a fair bit of my time is taken up running my Vlog on RUclips, replying to emails and comments etc. Regards, Neil.
Please do! It's a pretty easy commitment because the videos are short and don't need to be edited, it's just like having a conversation. If you do decide to join, let me know your username or tag me (JuliaC) or SebastiansMS in your first video.
I think that your videos are very helpful to everyone, those who have MS and those wishing to learn about it.
Thank you so much.
Great explanation on what MS actually is. Birds are one of nature's wonderful distractions.
Hi Neil, Thankyou for explaining, watching from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks Elisabeth, and you’re welcome. 👍
I love the comparison and will be using it if You don't mind!

What do you think the cause or causes are of ms? Do you think it's a different combination of things for different people?
Hi there, I think it's a very good possibility that stress played a big part. I was going through a separation at the time.

Excellent explanation. I guess since this video came out you've had another generation of black birds & sparrows in your back yard!
