The rivalling between Sultana Hurrem and Firuze continues at full steam. Firuze believes that Sultana Hurrem loves Suleiman and tries to get Hurrem keep Hurrem away from Suleiman. She decides taking Thursday Night, which belongs to the chief consort, away from Hurrem at first.
Suleiman goes hunting with his princes. Meanwhile, he tells Prince Mehmet about his dream that he gives clue about which prince he wants to give his throne.
Sultana Hurrem decides using Nigar to drive a wedge between Hatice and Ibrahim. She sends Ibrahim and Nigar to the Marble Mansion at the same time. Hurrem personally tells about this rendezvous to Hatice. Meanwhile, Hurrem gets an unexpected chance to have as hold over Ibrahim.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

It's just a small detail but I think what differs Hurrem from Mahidevran and Firuze is her non-interest with the ring made by the Sultan.. she did not impose it to be worn on her finger..

Afife Hutan the only person in the inter series to get called out for upholding a BS double standard and fill sham. Then she made the effort to improve.
To be fair to her, the issue truly was that she had been fed a very specific agenda by those that, before now, she had had no reason not to trust, being that they were like her second family. The problem for those same people is that Afife, rather like Daye before her, has a conscience that requires things fair and honorable, and, the longer she's around Hürrem, the less the agenda pushed on her about the woman adds up.
@@Redluna32 I think part of why Afifie is able to adjust her view on Hurrem easier than Daye is she has a family outside of the harem. Daye only had Hafsa and her life in the harem.

More like she saw the absolute loyalty hurrem had to sulieman. When he was sick everyone would plan for his death, mahidevran even wished for it. But hurrem made it clear until sulieman stopped breathing even her own children would have to walk over her body to take the throne
@@dannie4528I think what got her to really look at the whole situation was Hurrem pointing out the difference in how she and Furze where treated and not asking for loyalty or special treatment just fairness. If made her completely revaluate everything she's scene since arriving at the palace.

@@leoswiftie To be fair, Firuze is the only concubine to receive at least good, realistic writing in comparison to the others (outside of Sadıka, if she counts? funny that the spy plot lines are the best written). I just still maintain that it would have made so much more sense to have her placed in the show before Hürrem's marriage. For her to be the final battle Hürrem has to face before marriage to Suleiman would make a lot more sense to me.

The Isabella storyline was the worst and one of the least logical. They NEVER would have brought a princess to the harem let alone let sulieman sleep with her. Hasfa being okay with it was wild to me

Firuze just being there and became favourite only because the royals wants her to defeat Hurrem, meanwhile Hurrem being there after all the struggles and fights just to survives in the palace. I would say Hurrem is stronger than the royal princesses and and other favourites there.

I don't know it's history or just a drama. But how can a man sleep with so much women and all of them are getting envious of the last one. And are falling for Sultan love or status madly. I feel sad for women

oh stop with the crocodile tears hurrem. You always had the support of sukeiman even if you commit murder. She was hostile towards ibrahim from the beginning. Valide would have not been against her if daye did not hear her speach about ruling the sultan so the hostility between her and valide and ibrahim were her on faults. She even put her nose into ibrahim and hatices romance
