You can use Bruno’s valor ability toughness to not consume stam for a battle AND the godly effect of no knockback even if you win against garrisons. At least early game with that squad you can haul ass across the field with no mercy for anyone.
I gave Ochlys the gauntlets, (20% guard rate increase) silk scarf (20 evasion), and the 15 divine shard holy shield which gives holy guard (same defense skill joseph has) and it also let's the user heal 10% on using an active skill, then I fed the HP boosters to her since her base HP is so low, and she became a god tank, heals herself, dodges most things, and if she doesn't dodge she usually guards and can holy guard for that guaranteed guard for the first couple hits. Pretty insane early game combo since she has 2 red and blue crystals (pp). Could probably make it even more crazy and give her the sanguine sword too.
In addition to switching which "units" you have deployed, you can swap in a unit leader and get a new "unit" that's roughly the same, but replenished. (One that was not in the same formation)
It’s worth noting that Rest cannot be interrupted by anything. I learned the hard way trying to save a unit that was being harassed by using an item to restore stamina, but they kept resting.
Hey pal loving the content. Can you make a vid on when to prioritize squad depth versus squad breadth. Not sure whether it’s better to spend 20 VP to have another 3 man squad or 50 to have a 4 man squad
There is also the “no waiting” while garrisoning which you did not mention and also seem like it doesnt actually work because you still wait while you garrison but the rest ends quicker, essentially lasting the same time it takes to get a heal off. Not sure why it says no waiting though.
@@IcedCoffeeGaming I see that makes sense. Here’s an interesting question, also a cool talking point. Do you know how guard works with evasion. If a character gets evasion and another rolls a successful guard do you know what with take precedent? I wonder if guard is redundant or if it only rolls when evasion fails.
I think stupidly tanky formation with 0 stamina will be a viable strategy lmao Even if you cant moove it can be a really strong anchor to choke the battlefield or protect and enable full glass canon full damage squad lmao You can stun the enemy by just inflicting one damage, so I can kinda see running a kinda stupid team with 2 armor 1 magic attack defender 2 cleric and one defense buffer LMAO
Its because Joseph is your Jagen unit and is promoted, overleveled and extremly well stuffed for early game if you look closely We wont be able to solo full squad in late game when the ennemy will start to catch up to him Like, Im 3 hours in, all my ennemy are base units between lv5 and 6 Joseph is fcking lv20 with advanced class.
The stamina of a unit is determined by its leader not by the average of the units ***

0 stamina is very usefull like using josef on a spot with no stamina so he blockades without resting while you replenish other groups

The no Wait time is from losing combat I believe

Note: playing on story starts you with+3 stamina gor every unit, tactical and I believe expert have the same stamina mechanics
The Ochlys battle is your first actual test. Was actually forced to use a tent to replenish HP and stamina. Was lucky all my units were in range.
same
Bruno is a tank btw, you should put him up front on that formation, lol.
Another way to restore stamina is with certain valor skills
What's the no wait on a bridge
If you lose a battle you enter wait time, you will never wait when garrisoned in most positions.

Josef is that one bait unit from every strategy game thats over leveled and sucks late game, that’s how I feel at least
I dunno, he seems super tanky and does decent damage, seems like he will remain good throughout the game.
Stamina is not important. I had josef on 0 stam and kept swapping him forward for all fights. lol. 40 battles on 0 stam
It is when you want to win and are at 0 :)
