    You have got to check out this good quality clone saw with the Proyama 26CC Top Handle Chainsaw. As I have mentioned before, there are good manufactures and there are poor quality manufacturers. So far my initial impressions are fantastic on this particular unit. Stay tuned for more information as time goes on.

      Sure can be a good tool to have. Though I primarily used the last one I had in climbing, when I wanted one again, I sure wanted one. The right tool for the job is important. Many people really have very good luck with these saws. There are quite a few people that have replied in the comments on this particular video about their experience. It just takes getting to know what company to purchase from. I look forward to seeing how this saw does in the long run.

    The bag does seem great for storage or to protect it in a truck tool box. The double chains are a nice bonus and I agree that the double bar studs are a must! Was definitely a deciding factor when I purchased my Neotec ncs2500. Seems like a great little saw on first impression👍🏻

    I have a similar rear handle saw I bought about 5 or 6 years ago. I love it. It still runs great. It's a little lighter than my other saws of similar size, so I tend to grab it first. The only issue is, like yours, hitting the off switch on accident. The other issue was the gears turned with the chain tensioner screw stripped. I just ordered another one that I'm waiting to arrive.

    I have the dirt cheap chainsaw chainsaw, it always starts and cuts but I dont recommend it unless you want to fix a bunch of small issues, the proyama is a lot nicer.
    I like the little top handles for clearing brush off the atv trails, you can cut with one hand and toss the brush with the other.

    • @oakiewoodsman
      @oakiewoodsman  7 месяцев назад

      Yes sir! In really small limbs and brush standing up where it is helpful to hold on to the brand to toss it, they definitely work well in that scenario. Isn't it funny that regionally people have different uses for chainsaws because the trees are different? Some places really lend themselves to standing up and bucking/limbing with a long bar and some places just don't. Like I said, in my use cases, I typically don't run across a time when I prefer a top hand unless I am working aloft. Thank you for watching and taking the time to share your experience and how you use the saw.

      Thank you much! I never really thought about that because I don't deal with too much dust where I am. We have so much rock but I can imagine in looser mineral type soil when it is dry, stuff would get obliterated in the SideXSide. Some dirt roads do it really bad but I am not on em much anymore. Few years back I bought a cheap chinese top handle to have a small saw to carry everywhere. Came with bar and 3 chains for 95.00. I haven't been able to kill it yet. But after a couple years I realized just how much I did use the saw a broke down and bought a T540. Still can't kill the China saw though.

      They used to be very cheap! I also have noticed though that the quality seems to have improved with the price increases. I bought a supposed 58cc saw one time and it ran fantastic. I think if the manufacturer knows it's only going to be sold in the North American market, they spec different. We have much better actual 2t oil than many third-world countries! Have a couple "clone" saws that specify 50:1. Heck, even Husqvarna and Stihl recommend more oil in some countries for the same models that are available to us in the US.

    • @oakiewoodsman
      @oakiewoodsman  7 месяцев назад

      You know, I think this comment below helps quite a bit. I will tell you this. I used to run 25:1 Stihl Ultra in all my clones. I then tried running 50:1 and it seemed just fine. I think that 25:1 is likely too much oil and IMO 50:1 is cutting it close. That is why I liked they put a realistic 40:1 on the saw because that is what I do mix and will continue to mix for ALL of my saws. Thanks for watching!

    Seems like a good purchase for the price point.. but idk about it beating echo top handles. The 2511 is a great saw (ported) but it seems for use around the property a 355t would be more fit, as it actually has quite a bit of balls stock for a top handle (id say it would smoke the echo in the vid), just a bit heavier than 2511, but also cheaper and doesn't need to be ported for some grunt. Throw an egan pipe on there for another 50 bucks and they REALLY wake up and you are roughly around 450 bucks in a saw that is quite capable and dependable, in my opinion its the best bang for your buck as far as price and performance/quality. They kind of get overlooked it seems. It was my first top handle and i chose the 355 as it could do a lot more work than the 2511 until i could upgrade and add to my arsenal of saws, and i still love that saw, maybe its sentimental 😂. Id like a bag like that too, pretty nifty! Wonder if an egan pipe would be compatible w this saw..? Would like to see it run with some mods! Stay safe out there brother
