Jiluka is Rikko on vocals, Sena on guitar 🎸 and primary composer and arranger, Boogie on bass, and Zyean on drums 🥁. They describe themselves as electro goth metal. They are my favorite band from Japan after LOVEBITES!! More Jiluka songs to check out; Black, Overkill, Savage, KUMARI and AJNA. If you survive those I'll send you more. GR8 reaction!!!!
Finally ❤ Jiluka is great band, They are so called “Visual Kei” band, so they have to be beautiful men. Pls react to BLVCK,OVERKILL and SAVAGE as well.
Finally ! :) .. technical Monsters and underrated ! Saw them live and they kick asses !! i love these awesome dubstep-metal fusion !!! next could be "Kumari" or "Screamer V.19" Nocturnal Bloodlust - Cremation !!!!!!!!
New band alert! Nek! - pronounced neck-ee. Word has it their bassist was a finalist during the Lovebites tryouts when Miho left. She was 15 at the time (Kanade, not Miho). They only have a few videos out, but I think "Maze" is my fav. Take care!
Good entry in to the Visual Kei world. You got Deviloof and Dir en Grey that are more horror style. In the Visual Kei world you got awesome bands in different music genres. If you want more melodic VK ( Visual Kei) you need to check out Versailles / Faith and Decision. And then you got Xanvala, Karasu and so many more. As an old metal head I am so fascinated of the Visual Kei world.
Welcome in Visual Kei world. :) It's japanese movement as music, fashion and subculture, Jiluka is Visual Kei band, their visual side, all makeup etc is part of Visual Kei, also bands from this movement love experiments with music, you can find many different music genres and styles in discography of one band, even in one song like in "Venom" case. :D There are many rock and metal Visual Kei bands from different subgenres, but you can find there almost everything, electronic music, pop, folk, jazz, funk, enka and city pop (japanese music genres) and much more. If you want to hear something heavy, I really recommend Dexcore - Red Eye, something not that heavy, but still The Gazette - Blinding Hope, from something more gloomy and dark Deadman - Additional Cause for Sorrow and The Sound Bee HD - Endless Dead, some symohonic speed metal 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) - 真っ白な闇がすべてを塗り替えても (Masshiro na Yami ga Subete wo Nurikaete mo), from more funky 3470.mon - 九尾さん (Kyuuo-san), from folk rock (with elements of traditional japanese folk) Raymei - 百華繚乱 (Hyakka Ryouran), something more pop sound Kaya - Rose. All these songs have official music videos. Btw, most of musicians in Visual Kei are guys, even if they looks like girls, on 95% or even more it's guy, even Kaya is guy, but he's real crossdresser, his stage image is mostly female, from bands I recommended only bassist from The Sound Bee HD is female. I hope you will react to some of these amazing artists. ;)
While this is not my style in metal, I love a great growl but not in this style, the band is killing it overall. Remember coach loves you both add hopes to see his request sometime soon, love the effort and energy you guys put into your reviews and keep up the great work
Jiluka just rips!!!!! I would say their song that goes hardest is BLVCK. Highly recommend checking that one out. Also a reminder suggestion for: Broken By The Scream - Sayonara Birthday mv Passcode - Taking You Out mv 2 more Japanese metal bands of different subgenres. I think you would get a kick out of both of those :D
Well, that was chaotic! I agree with La Gringa on the horror vibe. I'm not a huge fan of the triggered double bass sound. But it was a fun watch & listen. Thanks, guys!
