- My original two, Chance and Rhodi (Lab/ German Shorthair Pointer mix boys) singing their hearts out with Pet Dog USA staff member Molly Helland. I love it when these two get going, but we usually only get to hear it when fire trucks go by . . . way to go Molly for your fine efforts as music director! This is priceless!

Hounds are, hands down, the greatest breed of dog of all time... from treeing walkers and American foxhounds to bluetick coon to bourgeois to tenors, Irish, beagles and everything in between. The most trustworthy animals ever. They will back you to the end of the earth. Love your video. They always hunt and love with so much vision and honor. Great, great animals. Also, one of few dog breeds that contain respect for other living things as much as themselves... they are apex in that sense of understanding what and why is prey and needed, while having no fear of anything. Also, one of the absolute best animals around children because of their inherent outward respect.

Thats a labrador which is not in the AKC hound group.
The truth about the AKC is they are an organization meant to designate specific dogs as 'non-breeds' to make it easier to acquire animals for medical testing.
this way they can acquire large numbers of 'trash' mutts and perform all sorts of cruel tests on them and they get away with it because people sadly think pitbulls are violent.
