An incredible video. Effortlessly mentioned how these fur babies have taken the big portion of your life. It's not easy to be a good parent. You guys have not only nailed it but set a new benchmark.
We were driving on the highway and we noticed a lost dog so we pulled over. It was a German Shorthair Pointer. We opened the door and she leapt right in. The number on her collar wasn't working do she spent the night with us. Her name was Lexi. She was the sweetest, kindest, most energetic dog I ever knew and I loved her. The next day we found a Facebook post of her and she went back home. Ever since those two days I've wanted a GSP. Love you Lexi. ❤
This captures the spirit of the GSP perfectly! It's so funny how all GSP owners have the same story. Mine made me cry every day for 4 months when she was a crazy puppy, but she has turned into the NICEST, most special dog ever. I can't imagine my life without her.
i actually used to have one that was very calm. She was very sweet. She wasn't lazy, i would take her running and hunting but she was very calm compared to others from her breed. Her son was very energetic compared to her tho hahaha. she past away early this year and her son got stolen about a month ago tho. Loved them both hopefully i can still fin him.
My family and I own a two GSP, my childhood was always surrounded by “hunting” dog breed like GSP, beagles and Weimaraners. And we have noticed that almost all of our females seem to be calmer and less hiperactive. Except from one female gsp that now is 8 years, she was THE MOST ACTIVE DOG I HAVE EVER SEEN, crazy, never got tired. Overall i would say females gsp are a bit calmer, but all depends on the lifestyle. We live in a town\farm and they have a lot of space all the time, so maybe
@@parabataisince My brother got another pointer, a rescue. He is the most docile, timid, calm and gentle dog I've ever met. He is the only pointer I've met who does not fit the stereotype.
flashhog01 what happens with gps is that they are really fragile dogs, mentally. If you broke a gps mind or spirit... its just so heartbreaking to imagine what would have happened to a that gsp at the beginning. Thats why we insist in not getting this breed to people who live in apartments or that wont have time to take them on LONG walks, they need a LOT of exercise daily. Pointer are not for everybody 😭Our neightbours would sometimes come over and ask por a gps puppy, but we are not breeders, we have spayed all of our doggies, and sometimes they will come with a rescue one with a “broken spirit”/not a pointer personality and ask us “why isn’t my dog like yours? He is just scared of everything, he would let me pet him but its not that open to do “field work”!”. Wish your brothers pointer the best☺️ and well every dog is a world, they are certainly one of my favorite breed of dogs, they are amazing Ps. Sorry if there is any mistake, english is not my first language
Years ago I rescued a dog from a family who said the dog was too energetic for them. They also told me he was a Dalmatian mixed with a Brown Lab. Turned out he was a pure bred GSP! That was 15 years ago and although he has passed, I still have a GSP and will have another and another till I pass!! What a special breed. This felt like watching videos of my own dog who talks and whines and yawns, and absolutely cannot be worn out. Wally has a beautifully docked tail!! What a handsome and well behaved boy!!! Life is better with a GSP!!
aww thank you for sharing your story. GSPs are a very special breed. I knew very little about them when we first got Walle haha I am learning everyday and it is awesome.
So sorry to hear that. My 1st GSP lived to 14yrs & 4months old. He died end of February 2018. I still miss him every day. I have my hands full with GSP #2 now, but I still grieve my loss of "Bubba".
Same, my girl was Daphne and she was almost 14, My dog was found in a dumpster with the rest of her litter then my parents adopted her when I was about 2 years old. I haven’t known anything else besides having a dog but we are soon getting another GSP. R.I.P Daphne 2005-2019❤️❤️
I’ve had two german shorthairs my entire life, the first one died when I was about 14-15 and then we immediately started looking again, got another and I’m 19 now with Luna. The best dog, the bestest friend, the most caring and affectionate sassy food obsessed non-dog human is the best thing that has happened to me. This video made me cry at the end. Dogs are amazing.
This is so true! One time when I was hiking 2 German Shorthaired Pointers came running towards me at a very high speed. Their owner was screaming at me from behind that they were "not dangerous, just very exited". I laughed and petted the exited dogs who were now jumping all over me, and toldthe owner: " Don't worry. I know. I own a German shorthaired Pointer as well"!
I adopted a GSP more than a year ago, he was abandoned because he got blind. He is EXACTLY how you described the breed, he is like the baby of the house and is always with 100% energy even though he is already 6 years old. I also adopted a 5 year old labrador/great dane and you can TOTALLY see the difference of their personality! Loved the video, your dogs are extremely cute
Years ago (when I was young & very active) I rescued a GSP. He was amazingly fast & once caught a squirrel by jumping half way up a tree. I think he was part panther. 😂 He came everywhere with me, even my college classes. Rudy looked a lot like Walle. Thank you for making this video & bringing back so many great memories.
Haha 🤣 One day we were at the dog park with Zazu. I saw a GSP running around and I told my husband that dog, I want that kind of dog to be our second dog. Little did I know too haha
Yeah so is my bichon puppy who is full of energy but needs to settle down at most times cause he can get rowdy, and a few times even humped a few dogs even the ones that are the gender as him. I found it strange cause dogs don’t usually do that till they’re fully grown but I’m doing what I can to get him out of that habit even the biting.
I had a German short hair pointer for 13 12 years and you got Walle down pat. I love how the 2 dogs play. Sophie calmed down when she became almost 10 years old. I miss her and will always love her
You did an excellent job showing how wonderful this breed is. I could tell how much you love your dogs. We have a GSP and he is out running with my wife right now. I agree with everything you said and I truly loved the loving way you expressed it along with the beautiful images. I can't wait to show my wife this when she gets back. Thank you so much!
Walle is so special. I love watching him and Zazu. He helps me get through the loss of my GSP, Cooper. My sweet boy was very loving, quiet, gentle and actually very much laid back like Zazu in temperament. He would whine with excitement when we went to Wendy's because the owner would always give him a Frosty and bacon burger. Your videos have become a daily MUST for me to watch (sometimes a comfort in the lonely night when he's not in bed with me.) You treat your furbabes like I did mine. Thank you. 💜
Emily developed degenrative spine disease when she was nearly 8 yr old, our regular walks were no longer an option, is there a rescue program? I would love to have another without doing the puppy years🥰
Got two for our hyperactive five yr. old grandson. What a God-send! They actually wear him out (he's seven now) traveling our eight acres and exploring virtually everything. They adore him and won't let him out of their sight--except when there's a locust, grasshopper, snake, frog, rabbit, bird; etc., etc., etc....
Aww what a beautiful pointer! My family owns a short hair pointer; she's 15 now and feeling her years. But she was the biggest handful growing up lol. We had an electric fence in our yard and she would just run right through it; it would take us hours to catch her 😂 And she LOVES water. Such amazing dogs, but they are so high energy. Don't think people really understand just how much energy they have.
Our GSP at his first visit to the finger lakes in WNY, after I released a small mouth Bass, this GSP felt the need to dive and swim underwater for at least 20 meters chasing this fish!
They are a very special breed. When we had decided to get one. I saw a very athletic Gsp in the dog park and I said I want that kind of dog. Hehe little did I know the craziness behind being Walle’s mom. Learning everyday! Love him ❤️
This is so true, I have thought of selling my baby I was so overwhelmed by his behaviour but I'm still here with him and this really helped me so much thank you. I love GSPs.
GSPs are so affectionate, curious, expressive energetic and smart. It's so endearing. The head tilts are so cute! My cousins have a GSP called Pepper and since I moved to another city, I really miss her. My flight to that city was cancelled due to the pandemic so I haven't seen her yet, so I'm here watching this video. Stay safe!
My GSP Lacey was so smart and listened very well. She would come to me instantly when I clapped. She would only bark if she got frightened. I only heard her bark a couple times. She made it to just 2 weeks before her 16th birthday and I still miss her sooo much.
Pics of Wall-E and Zazu are the best part of the video . Zazu brought tranquility while Wall-E brought energy . Hey why don't you make a video where Zazu and Wall-E r doing conversation I mean like with subtitles. It will be fun. Eagerly waiting for the next video 😍. Lots of love to Zazu and Wall-E
My first dog was a gsp. He was just pure love, and my best friend for 14 years. When he was 6, our evil neighbor who didn't like him drove him two counties away during a thunderstorm and dropped him off. It took him 13 days but he found his way back and acted like he wasn't even gone. What a special boy, rip Sam
This is an amazing video, thank you for making it. I have a 2 year old GSP and he is absolutely fantastic. One small thing that I would add to your video, is a warning. They are so eager to please and have fun that they often don't know when to physically stop and rest. This results in many GSPs getting over exhausted or heat exhaustion. They truly are an amazing breed and one of my favorites. ❤️
Thank you for watching ❤️ so glad to see such a big community of GSPs out there 🥰 Yes, I never know when Walle gets tired. We did a long hike to Pine Lakes in California and Walle just was just so tired because of the heat. We got so nervous. This is a video from that trip ruclips.net/video/BwUjg3l3ujQ/видео.html
I also have a Gsp. He is ALWAYS happy and ALWAYS excited and ALWAYS has full energy .My dog (Basco) sounds EXACTLY like Walle 😂 Sry for my English I’m german lol
We had Ginger, the worlds best dog. I've never met a dog as emotionally sensitive as she was. She would do anything to keep her family happy. My ex and I used to have pretty bad fights. Afterward, I'd retreat to my office. Ginger would always follow me and sit next to me as I sat down at the computer. As I tried to work, she'd start nudging my elbow with her nose so I couldn't work the mouse. She knew (even if I didn't remember at that moment) that I'd feel better if I petted her. So she'd keep at it, no matter what I said to her, until I did. And sure enough, I'd feel better. After she fixed me up, she'd crawl under the desk and lie on my feet. Not sure how she knew that also made me feel better, but she did and it did. She wasn't the easiest dog to train, as it says in the video, but once trained she was incredibly obedient. I taught her to wait for me before crossing a street and she would sit at the end of the sidewalk, looking over her shoulder at me, no matter how long it took me to catch up. She absolutely would not move until getting the release command. I have to admit, curiosity was her achilles heel. She once had a close encounter with a skunk. She couldn't understand why it wouldn't play with her, and just one spray in the face wasn't enough to convince her they couldn't be playmates. It took three! Her only other weakness was rabbits. After much trying, I had to finally give up and admit that there was no way to train her not to chase a rabbit. I guess it was bred too deep into her bones - one sniff of rabbit and she was off. I don't think she actually wanted to catch one (she never did) but she couldn't resist the chase. We lost Ginger to cancer more than 20 years ago, but it is a rare week that goes by without my thinking of her. Once or twice in a lifetime, if you're very lucky, you encounter the special kind of dog that was Ginger. I was very lucky to have her as a part of our family.
Thank you so much David for sharing this! Feel all the love from it. I am sure Ginger had a good long life and I am glad you had each other. I didn't know much about GSPs when we first got Walle and you are right they aren't the easiest to train but with time I have learnt to love them. Just yesterday Walle was rolling over a dead skunk and I had to shampoo him 3 times to get that smell off haha so I cannot imagine how bad it smelt when Ginger actually got sprayed thrice. Again, thank you for sharing! It makes my heart really happy!
I had a german short haired pointer, she looked just like Wally, but instead of brown specks she had black specks. Her name was Belle and she was the most gentle and sweetest dog ❤ I miss her dearly
Dear GSP Mom and Dad - it is not always easy to be parent to this wonderful breed but for me it was the experience of a lifetime. It is amazing how good care you take of these two angels. Please allow me - for the love of my GSP who is now in heaven - at a later age the slippery steep stairs might need some attention - my darling gotten a partial tendon tear in his leg from similar stairs - We were lucky not to have a full rupture. Wally is young now and I don't think it would be a problem for some more years down the road. Thank you for your awesome VDOs, looking forward for more.
Thank you Anna, GSPs are such a beautiful breed. Absolutely agree ❤️🙏 yes we have thought about the stairs with Zazu and Walle when they get a little older. Hopefully move into a big one floor house with a big swimming pool by then haha 😁
@@ZazuTalks If you could afford that probably would be the ideal choice for them. Your unleashed walks and hiking will add tremendously to their good health and youth. The pool is the ultimate bonus at all ages - they are so lucky to have you for parents...
Subscribing now! What a great example of the curious dog that is the gsp, my pup Cooper is 7 years old now and he still has as much energy as he did as a puppy, he's the most affectionate, loving, talkative dog I've ever encountered. He sleeps by my side every night❤️
So good to see this! I just adopted GSP or labrapointer mix who has been abandoned in Greece. I got him 5 days ago, and after a boat trip and flight to Holland I was expecting him to be shy and maybe afraid. BUT THE CONTRARY: immediately jumped on the couch and came for cuddles. He also does not like waiting for a long time and I felt bad for closing the door of the living room to get a change of clothes and do some make up etc. I feel a little bit better about that after watching your video ^^. belly rubs, dancing are his favorite activities hihihi
I picked up a stray pup about a month ago, but I didn't know what breed he was until now. I thought, at first, that he was just a cute little mutt. However, after watching your video, now I know exactly what he is! lol this is my little stray to a "t". He even looks exactly like your GSP, except instead of brown, he's black. Thank you! Now I can look up the breed and do a better job of training him. He is exactly as you described and very intelligent.
We have a German Wirehaired Pointer and she’s is very much like Walle! 👌 😂 Yes, GSP and GWP are challenging dogs but they never fail to make us laughing out loudly with their unique goofiness 🙈😄
I adopted what I thought was a working lab from a shelter (all liver thought she was chocolate) then I noticed the white spots under the fur when I got home with her, and the temperament, longer legs and it donned on me this is a GSP. She is full of love and affectionate towards everything. Ive only ever had labs and all the GSP videos I've watched is my new dog to a T. GSP have so much personality and character and Im loving all the quirks more and more. I just wish they trained as easy as a lab. Their minds do tend to wander (wanderlust).
Your videos are so peaceful.. One can sit for hours to listen how you present the things.. It shows the love inside you that how caring you are being a dog mom.. I really like the way you narrate.. Lots of love for walle and zazu😍😍😘😘🥰🥰
thank you so much for this loving video. My Walle (aka Hermann the German) drives me mad at times. He is where I am. He get in the way, he wines when I just fill my car with petrol and go inside to pay for even a minute. He is a bundle of energy and difficult to train. But do not get angry with them, because they are behaving like a badly beaten creature and squeal when you even say 'naughty boy' and cower in the corner until you say: all good again. Then you have a rubber ball dancing around you that you cannot stop for joy. What a dog these Germans have created.
haha there are times I get frustrated for sure, I even get angry sometimes. But if you think about it with a calm mind, it is you who are failing to understand how to train a GSP. They are high energy and all dogs are different so we have to learn how to train them well. Walle was difficult for me to at first but slowly I have gotten better at training him and therefore it isnt as frustrating. I totally understand how you feel. Please be patient and consistent with your dog :) they will eventually learn
This is a great video. I have a two year old, but she is not as calm (or well behaved) but we are working on it. Thanks for sharing. They are such great dogs.
We got a 30 day old GSP yesterday.. N i was finding videos to uk train him or get to know this breed better.. This helped alot.. N i love the cute lil gsp puppy here😍😭😍😍
I love walle so much! you should create a calendar with pictures of Walle and Zazu, I am sure people would buy one for xmas as lockdown has made me super lonely!
100percent the truth.there the sweetest. funniest.most excited dogs in the world ..the best dog ever.if u have time 4 them alot of time 4 them...there the best friend ever..thx 4 the video
My first impression of Wally is “Lol he’s a clown!”. Goofy is the word indeed. But he’s also one of the sweetest and most affectionate dogs I’ve seen on RUclips. I love him and his personality. Pls give him a big hug for me. :)
I love the length of Walle's tail. Perfect for grabbing if they get into trouble. Walle looks almost identical to my Max hound. Beautiful, intelligent, lovely dogs. I''m on my third shorthair now. Annie and Hank were the perfect hunting dogs. Max is my mountain biking dog since I quit hunting. Four years old and still out of control. He can run twenty or thirty miles in a day. I absolutely adore german shorthairs. Thanks for your videos.
Think about their tails, they're transmitters not receivers They give you information. you don't give them information through it. Similarly they are not handles.
I have a GSP for hunting and just being a therapy dog for all my family, his names Tucker 1 year old. He’s very energetic and he ripped up our couch but we love him very much!
We adopted a pointer/cattle dog mix. His markings and ticking are of a gsp . He happens to be just 1 1/2 years old, and yes he can spend three hours play wit a malamute and still be ready for a hike through the woods, would trade him for the world.
Walle is a beautiful dog. I used to raise GSPs. One of the best breeds ever. I'm older now and cannot afford to keep one. I also love the german wirehaired pointer. I wish I had one .
I have a 5 month old, Lab/Pointer mix. She’s insane. She’s either running around like a mad thing, or she’s asleep, there’s no in-between. It’s been a bit of a shock to go from a Labrador, who only ever wanted to sleep and eat, to this pup. I’m exhausted, but she’s worth it.
@@dustinearly8538 We'll, if you really like having those dogs then you have to keep them by standards, or else they will stop existing. Much more if owner want them to be happy, he has to keep working activities by instinct in good shape, no other way to keep any breed in good contrition but checking working and morphological standards so breed can go on. Or else we have so called "breeder's" who only use breed through puppy mills only to cover the market needs, with catastrophic ending for any breed... Par example our dear Saint Bernard dog that suffers from hip dysplasia, and dalmatian dog that has deaf problems in almost any litter... This is why standards must be kept.
Nicholas Christophorou Dogs don’t care what they do so long as their mental and physical exercise requirements are met and they have good access to food, water, and affection. Think of how popular huskies are, they are dogs that were bred to pull sleds. 90% of husky owners aren’t going to be bothered to even go near a sled, but that isn’t going to kill off huskies as a breed. A breed that was bred for a specific purpose doesn’t just disappear because they aren’t used for that purpose. If that was the case, then most people shouldn’t own dogs.
My Daddy had three German shorthaired pointers when I was little. He took them quail hunting. So I love German shorthaired pointers. They were great for hunting with him and for playing with me.
Zazu Talks We didn’t have all three at once. When I was a baby, my Daddy had a female GSP named Dolly and a German Shepherd/hound mix named Professor. After they both went to doggie heaven, he had a female GSP named Patches. She was an only dog for a while and then he got a male GSP named Spot. My Daddy said that Patches was the best hunting dog he’d ever seen. She ended up running away and we never found her. Those goofballs didn’t live in the house, though. I think that Professor was an inside/outside dog, but the GSPs all lived outside. My Daddy built a kind of a lean-to for Patches in the tool shed and put a bunch of hay in it. The tool shed was a regular building with a concrete foundation and electricity. He built a dog house for Spot. It was double walled with insulation between the walls and real shingles on the roof. When it got cold, he’d put a blanket over the door. If the weather was really bad, he’d bring them in the house.
wow those are some cool sounding names for GSPs. Thank you for sharing their stories, we would love it if you shared pictures of Professor, Dolly and Patches
Zazu Talks I’ll see if I can find some pictures except Spot. For some odd reason, we never took a picture of him. I don’t know why because he was with us for several years.
i raised and trained them for almost 30 years and had access to about 150,000 acres of prime bird habitat. We had 15 acres to keep them on and I always kept them kennelled at night, they were'nt house dogs except on birthdays. Such great dogs, i was always partial to the females, i thought they were a little more biddable. wonderful animals to have spent quality time with...i had to buy a freezer to keep all the birds in.
Lol my baby's ears are all scraped up because he's that hyped up. Ah, my vet is my bff at this point. We see him Soo much! Because of little Cyrus and his cut up ears. (Lol once cut ears on my license plate..)
I love these Walle and Zazu videos, Although our dogs both are Gsps Rio 6 yrs and her nephew Rosco 5 months the are just like your fur babies. They even watch these videos when the movement or the sounds catches there eyes and ears. 😀
I have a gsp he’s so beautiful but he’s a full chocolate he was left out of his litter because he didn’t have spots, but I still love him to bits he’s always there to give me a hug when I have had a rough day at school. My dad doesn’t really like him but he’s rubbed off on my ada now there best friends! His names Archie
Awww! I am sure Archie is beautiful! All dogs are beautiful. Thank you for choosing him and loving him so much 🤗 glad you enjoy spending time with him. Thank you for sharing and watching our videos
Ecubirb 13 the two I have now are black and white and I recently found out that they wont let you show black and white ...you know why ...because they would shut down the show period !! Lol stupid prejudiced rules
They are very energetic. They are slightly smaller but weigh more than a German pointer. You need to give him attention or else he will trash the house.
I love GSPs and have had a number of them. They are very trainable, and their "stubbornness" actually is a good quality, since once they learn to do what you want, they'll do it that way every time. I used to train and show dogs in obedience, and my GSPs won a good many ribbons, prizes, and even money. My wife ad I used to live in a large house with animals and people, but now we are empty nesters and live in a small house. We love GSPs, but they are being bred bigger now, so we looked for a dog with the GSP's characteristics in a smaller body, and we found Brittany Spaniels. You have good dogs from two of the finest breeds, in my opinion--bright, loving, loyal, and always up for a walk, a swim, or a horseback ride. Some people claim that Shorthairs are too rambunctious if you have small children; but we had five children and never had any problem at all. Might not be the best breed for couch potatoes because they always want to get out and run (rain, heat, snow, never a problem).
Thank you so much for sharing! We thought about Brittanys too when we were thinking about getting a second dog. That is great that it worked out for you guys. Walle definitely loves the outdoors and is such a explorer, sometimes his energy just surprises me. I am hoping when we have kids someday he mellows down a little though hehe
We have a GSP at work who is also a hound dog. Two weeks ago, he and his dad had to go after a lost wild boar, which took them 3.5 kilometers. After that, they came back and we went for a walk. He still had so much energy, running and jumping around like a puppy! He's 10 years old now and still a bundle of energy! So affectionate and absolutely loyal towards his Dad, and such a goofball as well. Whenever I have time, we'll be playing or cuddling together (he allowed me to join him in his bed from the very beginning, even sitting himself in my lap. Imagine a 32 kilo dog in your lap.. Almost crushing my hips, but I love it!😂). He's so friendly to just everyone! A soul of a dog! I use to say he's my best colleague 😇🤎
I also have a GSP girl Maggi and a white Labrador named Duke, describing them is exactly like my 2. They are seniors now Maggi is 15 Duke is 13. Maggi raised our Lab and is the greatest Mum for Duke. I was so happy to watch your too also. Best pair ever ❤️❤️

An incredible video. Effortlessly mentioned how these fur babies have taken the big portion of your life.

That is so sweet of you to say. Thank you 🥰

Bro your so right
I have a gsp and he sleeps with me and he loves to go camping
One time my dad and mom camped over by a river he couldn't stay out
mine is very calm and loving she is a true velcro dog
Don't worry, they mellow out after about 10 years.
Bahaha, thank you! We have met a lot of GSP parents who have said 7... i guess we have to wait a couple more years haha
Mine mellowed out at 7 but will still go on a hike for hours
Hahaha!!! Truest story ever! Lol then they turn into the biggest lap dogs ever lol
That’s comforting news 😉
Lol! I think they calm down the day they die!!! Love ‘em to pieces!!

Like to have one, amazing!

Absolutely, life is better. Well said.
Mine just passed away. What an amazing companion and even better best friend
I am so sorry to hear that. They sure are special dogs. Lots of hugs!
So sorry to hear that. My 1st GSP lived to 14yrs & 4months old. He died end of February 2018. I still miss him every day. I have my hands full with GSP #2 now, but I still grieve my loss of "Bubba".
So sorry 🌈🐶
@@CR-qo7oz I miss mine too. We lost her a year ago and not a day goes by that I don't think about her!
I know. I own a German shorthaired Pointer as well"!
hahaha yes! Walle amazes a lot of people on the trails.. everyone says that is a fast running dog haha
LOL I have a Vizsla and I do the same. She runs up to everyone and right between their legs 😂
I love that story!
Thank you for adopting.
That is awesome! Thank you for adoption both of them :) Please do share pictures with us!
I love both of these dogs. What great companions. Your videos capture their personality!
I can have the worst day - when I see Walle and Zazu I have to smile and laugh! 😍😄
you are sooo right about this. these 2 dogs are really special.
That is awesome! Thank you for sharing 🥰
So true, my 1 year old GSP whines more than my kids. And howls at everything good. It’s so fun…such personality in this breed.
I got a GSP after my yellow lab passed. I DID NOT KNOW what I signed myself up for, but he's an incredible dog
Haha 🤣 One day we were at the dog park with Zazu. I saw a GSP running around and I told my husband that dog, I want that kind of dog to be our second dog. Little did I know too haha
I’m in the exact same boat, miss how mellow my little old yellow lady used to be.
Walle is simply adorable and a ball of energy and love.💙
Yeah so is my bichon puppy who is full of energy but needs to settle down at most times cause he can get rowdy, and a few times even humped a few dogs even the ones that are the gender as him. I found it strange cause dogs don’t usually do that till they’re fully grown but I’m doing what I can to get him out of that habit even the biting.
I had a German short hair pointer for 13 12 years and you got Walle down pat. I love how the 2 dogs play. Sophie calmed down when
she became almost 10 years old.
Aww thank you so much for the kind words! ❤️🙏 I am glad you liked it and hope your wife will too ☺️
Walle is so special. Thank you. 💜
I have a sweat shirt with an appropriate comment on the front of it
"I was normal 3 German Shorthaired Pointers ago"
Geese i love these
dogs!!!
!!!
awwww!!!
Haha yes I don’t think people really do. It is really crazy!!! Walle amazingly hasn’t really loved water but I am sure he will one day.
YesNelle our GSP would go into the water at the lake and not come out for up to 8 hours. She would swim all over. Loved that dog.
Our GSP at his first visit to the finger lakes in WNY, after I released a small mouth Bass, this GSP felt the need to dive and swim underwater for at least 20 meters chasing this fish!
They are both so cute and sweet. I have a yellow labrador and he is the sweetest boy!!! I love Walle's face. Adorable!!!!
Thank you so much 😇
Shorthairs. They're not for everyone, but they love everyone nonetheless
They are a very special breed. When we had decided to get one. I saw a very athletic Gsp in the dog park and I said I want that kind of dog. Hehe little did I know the craziness behind being Walle’s mom. Learning everyday! Love him ❤️
@@ZazuTalks awww he’s a good balance between him and Zazu . I think they compliment each other well and I believe he keeps Zazu young too!
Thank you! Delightful, and beautifully narrated. We too love Walle and Zazu. ❤️
As a GSP mom, thank you for the beautiful video! They are the best velcro you never knew you needed ☺️
This is so true, I have thought of selling my baby I was so overwhelmed by his behaviour but I'm still here with him and this really helped me so much thank you. I love GSPs.
We adopted a gsp rescue about 5 years old. I think we missed the high energy years but she was the sweetest dog ever and extremely well behaved. ❤️
Aww that’s good. Walle has calmed down a little over the years
Your love and gentleness with your dogs is incredible to watch
GSPs are so affectionate, curious, expressive energetic and smart. It's so endearing. The head tilts are so cute! My cousins have a GSP called Pepper and since I moved to another city, I really miss her. My flight to that city was cancelled due to the pandemic so I haven't seen her yet, so I'm here watching this video. Stay safe!
aww hope you reunite with Pepper soon! :) stay safe!
@@ZazuTalks thank you!
We have a 50/50 Pointer/Lab, I can't tell you enough about how perfect that blend is. He is just amazing in every way...
This video couldn't be more accurate! These dogs are all about running, playing and cuddling ♥
I am glad so many people can relate. All GSP parents know how crazy they can be haha
My GSP Lacey was so smart and listened very well. She would come to me instantly when I clapped. She would only bark if she got frightened. I only heard her bark a couple times. She made it to just 2 weeks before her 16th birthday and I still miss her sooo much.
Oh wow! Lacey lived a long life ❤️ I am sure she was special and loved! Do share a picture with us 🙏
Pics of Wall-E and Zazu are the best part of the video . Zazu brought tranquility while Wall-E brought energy .
Hey why don't you make a video where Zazu and Wall-E r doing conversation I mean like with subtitles. It will be fun.
Eagerly waiting for the next video 😍. Lots of love to Zazu and Wall-E
Haha that is a great idea... i’ll have to think about a good story 😁
Oh my god! I am glad Sam found his way back home ❤️ 14 years of pure love! I am sure he had a wonderful life. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Please share a picture of Sam with us 🥰
This is an amazing video, thank you for making it. ❤️
Thank you for watching ❤️ so glad to see such a big community of GSPs out there 🥰
Yes, I never know when Walle gets tired. We did a long hike to Pine Lakes in California and Walle just was just so tired because of the heat. We got so nervous. This is a video from that trip ruclips.net/video/BwUjg3l3ujQ/видео.html
I absolutely enjoyed, loved, adored this video. How can 95 people give it a thumbs down???! It is clear that you love your dogs.
hehe... its all good. Thank you for watching our videos, glad you enjoyed them 😍
I also have a Gsp. He is ALWAYS happy and ALWAYS excited and ALWAYS has full energy .My dog (Basco) sounds EXACTLY like Walle 😂
Sry for my English I’m german lol
Basco is such a cool name! I bet he is a handful too. Thank you for watching 🙏❤️
Thank you too omg ❤️🐕
Benutzt du Basco fürs Jagen?
Helena
Ja also fürs Vorstehen und bei der Gänsejagd
Your English is great
We had Ginger, the worlds best dog.
Aww!! Belle ❤️ I am sorry to hear that 🙏
I have heard female gsps are a little less hyper. Is that true?
Awwww!!! I heard that GSPs calm down only around 8-9 😅 lots of love to Cooper! ❤️ such a great GSP community here 🥰
They ARE talkers!!!
Precious Walle! Gorgeous German Shorthaired Pointer!
Many thanks!
Omgggg this comment makes me so happy. Thank you for adopting and sharing 🥰
He is exactly as you described and very intelligent.
wow a stay GSP, you are very lucky! take care and train him well 🙂
@@ZazuTalks will do, thanks for the info in your video!
I have two german short haired pointers and all of these facts are SO true
glad you enjoyed the video! the real extent of how active they are...only we know haha
same
wooww
I love you Walle and Zazu. Watching your videos everyday. 😊❤️
Such a beautiful doggo!! Give him lots of hugs and scratches for me!!
Walle is very special. So is Zazu. Thanks for sharing.
Your videos are so peaceful.. One can sit for hours to listen how you present the things.. It shows the love inside you that how caring you are being a dog mom.. I really like the way you narrate.. Lots of love for walle and zazu😍😍😘😘🥰🥰
Aww thank you for such wonderful compliments! 🙏❤️
thank you so much for this loving video.
Haha we are working on Walle everyday too. Labradors and GSPs are very different when training for sure.
Awwww thank you so much ☺️🙏❤️ we will surely think about it
We had pointers when I was growing up and they will always hold a place in my heart. I love German Shorthaired Pointers so so much!!!
they are such affectionate goofballs :) thank you for watching
They are hands down the best dogs ever! We are on our 2nd GSP! He’s currently 7 months old! All of these are sooo true! Your pups are adorable!!
Thank you so much. GSPs are definitely a lot of work but such a special breed 🥰
Why did this video make me so emotional lol. Hands down my favorite breed
100percent the truth.there the sweetest. funniest.most excited dogs in the world ..the best dog ever.if u have time 4 them alot of time 4 them...there the best friend ever..thx 4 the video
Thank you for watching! GSP are surely a very special breed! I am glad Walle came into our lives 🙂 I learn from him everyday 😄
You're a bundle of cuteness galore walle!!! Love the kisses from both the puppies in the end of the video 😄
🥰 thank you!
Wow! Same coloration as my GSP, and you nailed the quirks !!
Thank you for watching 😀
They are adorable, cute, smart , keen. active , affectionate and love to communicate. Simply the perfect dog if you are active. You must be active.
My first impression of Wally is “Lol he’s a clown!”. Goofy is the word indeed. But he’s also one of the sweetest and most affectionate dogs I’ve seen on RUclips. I love him and his personality. Pls give him a big hug for me. :)
And give Zazu one too!
He’s very energetic and he ripped up our couch but we love him very much!
that is awesome!!!!! Zazu our Labrador is a certified therapy dog. Our GSP Walle on the other hand haha not sure he has that much patience.
I just got a German short haired pointer and so far she is so sweet and loves to play
That is awesome! So exciting 🥰 How old is she?
1 hear
I mean 1 year
My family has had 3 German shorthaired pointers and I love them all so much
3 😁 thats a lot of energy
Yes I love & enjoyed this Video., Thank you Zazu, Walle, & mom n dad
Omg I have two gsp’s and they are full of energy your pets are so sweet and cute
Two GSPs! I bet they tire each other out hehe
Thank you! GSPs are great dogs for sure, Walle is our first GSP we had a tough time at first but we love him so much! An absolute goofball.
I feel like that every single day. It gets frustrating but then I cannot stay mad at that cute innocent face. I love GSPs!
Shorthairs can fill any roll really, emotional support, hunter, active dog, good with children, intelligent, if excitable
Your tutorial of a German shorthaired pointer is spot on. Great video!💝
They are also great hunters.
We dont hunt but I am sure Walle would love to hunt.
First of all they are hunting dog.
Nicholas Christophorou You don’t have to hunt with a hunting dog, just like you don’t have to herd animals to own any herders/shepherds
Wow! I can't imagine how much energy 3 GSPs would be. But I am sure if Walle got to hunt he would love it too
Zazu Talks We didn’t have all three at once. When I was a baby, my Daddy had a female GSP named Dolly and a German Shepherd/hound mix named Professor. After they both went to doggie heaven, he had a female GSP named Patches. She was an only dog for a while and then he got a male GSP named Spot. My Daddy
said that Patches was the best hunting dog he’d ever seen.
This is literallyyyyyy as if I had made a video about my GSP😭😂👌🏼😭❤️😭❤️. Love Walle
i raised and trained them for almost 30 years and had access to about 150,000 acres of prime bird habitat.
Thats is awesome! We feel Zazu and Walle both our dogs raw food as well
And their ears are so soft. Mine always loved to be petted by everyone.
oh yessss! they are really soft
Lol my baby's ears are all scraped up because he's that hyped up. Ah, my vet is my bff at this point. We see him Soo much! Because of little Cyrus and his cut up ears. (Lol once cut ears on my license plate..)
Ahhh I want to bite them!
I just bought one. I love him. Super smart and very affectionate. Super curious and will not let you have your own space.
Also super energetic 🥰
Zazu and Walle both siblings are super cute... lots of love from India 😘😘😘
Ishita Das thank you for all the love ❤️🥰
Me too! His name is Guinness! Message me if you want photos
Ecubirb 13 the two I have now are black and white and I recently found out that they wont let you show black and white ...you know why ...because they would shut down the show period !! Lol stupid prejudiced rules
The chocolate GSP is the best💖ruclips.net/channel/UCMmcCgOgV_fNB4_teBdD-1g
I owned 2 German Short Haired pointers over about 24 years, they are wonderful in so many ways ( kept me in great shape as a bonus!)
Down side of pointer: thy wil point out the one who fart in room :P
Bahahahaha omg that is soo funny 😂
My neighbor has a German Pointer. Great dog. Enjoy your narration, too.
Walle is the cutest!!!😍and zazu too!
rajpriya Shukla awww thank you ❤️🥰
We just got a danish pointer, which are quite rare dog. They are like the German pointer and he is an amazing dog to have and to wake up to every day.
Just checked out the Danish Pointer doesnt look much different. Certainly looks like a full of energy pup 😁
I love both zazu and walle
Zazu and walle both are sooo cute 😘😘😘l love them both l love the way you talk love your family ❤️❤️❤️god bless you all.
Abino Gurung thank you so much 🙏❤️🥰
We have a GSP at work who is also a hound dog.
Lots of love to both zazu and walle😘
