The auto industry absolutely loves SUV crossovers, and consumers love them even more. So automakers continue to release all-new and fully redesigned SUV models to the market in various sizes, powertrains, fuel economy and price points.
Let’s look at some of the gas-powered and hybrid SUVs about to roll down the assembly line and yet to hit the dealership in the US and Canada.

I have a 2021 Hyundai Palisade Limited and I’ve been quite pleased with it. Last year, I was able to take advantage of the high resale value of used vehicles and traded in my 2019 Mazda CX-9. Fortunately, new car prices hadn’t taken off yet so I got a decent deal on the Palisade.

I drive a 2022 RAV4 Prime XSE Supersonic Red(Plug-in Hybrid). I love it. I get 50 -54 Electric miles per charge. I use level 2 charger and get empty to full charge in 2 1/2 hours. I make sure to use gas every couple weeks, even doing so it’s been three months and I still have a little less than 3/4 tank of gas and 800 miles. I love the safety features, especially the 360 bird eye view.

DOnt' like any of them, What happened to REAL Mid Size (not a bigger small)?? Almost all of these are too small, your other choices if you don't like small is to go Large... I want in the middle... Something bigger than a GMC Terrain, but SMaller than the Yukon. The Arcadia doesn't cut it, that's more like a large mini-van. The only one that seems to hit the spot is the new Grand Cherokee. The X5 is still on the smaller side. I wish other MFGs would go after this size without making it a tall car... I want both Driver and Passenger able to use the middle arm reset at same time... a good example would be the middle of a Sierra 1500. I want space. I have driven the BMW, Porsche, and Merc GL, and they all felt cramped to me

Example the most recent one they said was that you would have pay a monthly subscription to use heated and ventilated seats. If you don’t pay the subscription you vehicle will still be outfitted with the button but the feature will not work unless you pay for it too . This in my opinion is going to ruin BMWs they already make you pay for apple and android car play now seat heaters what’s next seatbelts and turn signals won’t work without a subscription?

And this is where Honda screwed up MAJORLY with redesigning the new CRV. You don't build a new model from the ground up and leave the same HP & Torque numbers. This is a larger CRV and with that should have come a larger more powerful engine. Not too mention they took away some great "creature comforts" the outgoing '22 and prior models had. BAD, BAD, move Honda. Considering Nissan took a HUGE gamble this year putting in a whole new engine on the Rogue and it PAID OFF...!!! Honda better offer this for the 2024 model if they want too stay competitive. Nissan has hit a home run with the new '22 Rogue and it's DEFINITELY on my short list for a new vehicle.

why do you bring interest into suv car, prius prime has enough of eveything that really matters while not having a recyling problem as electric car do and while having less emissions over its lifetime and longer lifetime and similar cost of ownership long term to electric car. it toyota hybrids get better mpg than advertised when driving pule and glide as the youtuber car crae nut explins in his video abot how to get good gas milage. hypermiling is driving for minimum time and money spent on brakepad tire engine oil engine parts gas and electricity usage. it can be fun way of driving, it is to accerlate and brake slow and steadily, maintain momentum with minimum braking and building up mpmentum before going uphill and building up momentum downhill to get gravities help in building ore momentum for less energy.
prius prime can be better, freepiston, srtuctural layout , etc. even mercedes eqxx supposedly better drag coeffceint, despite that car being apprently not totally function over aesthetic prioritized design... even prius prime has multiple headlights... non prime prius is bigger than corrola hybrid, still gets better mpg... notice how bmw sedans, especially not the recent ones, are smaller than their toyota mercedes etc competition? noone complaind they are too uncomfortable...
see video on saftey by youtuber called aptera owners club, he points out bigger heavier car does not nessesarily mean safer. people do not need all the junk they think they want in thir lives they store in suv trunks, and the packaging of car doesnt utilize space for more storage effceintly. people talk about trunk space as if passenger space is so often not available to store stuff even if all passengers are in car. another reason for suv is it requires less joint and msucle movement to get into and out of the car, lazy disabled people care for that bt a hydrallic lift and long length door space could fix most if not all the issues, and disabled people are still in paiin anyway in suv, real disabled treatment is minivan aftermarket modified for wheel chair compaitblity... all this junk can be avoided. if one ever needs to carry s much stuff he can just rent a van or trailer etc.
some interesting cars are nobe, gordon murray t50, gmat33, gmat43, lotus cars, and cars in the youtube channel called unsung heros, fiat ecobasic as youtiber niels van roij desbcribes it as well as hsi description of prius, etc.
you should make videos pointing these things out, it is culture that creates demand, nonsense name brand worship etc.

family are not all carried all at once most the time, why pay the price of a car that can carry all that and their junk if its not used as such almost all the time? just rent a van or whatever

@@kalmmonke5037 I agree 95 percent of the time you see one or two people in these SUVS. I rarely see entire families riding in SUVs at one time. Oh and the say I need an SUV to haul things around which is something you rarely see as well. This SUV thing is just a trend in which people follow with no real justification of why, other than the strong desire to be like everyone else.

ELECTRIC IS THE FUTURE. IT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE TO BUY A GAS POWER CAR. WITHIN 5 YEARS LEGACY AUTOMAKERS WILL GO BANKRUPT.

False. Gas powered cars will always be around.

Although I do agree 100% with you that Electric is our future, traditional Auto manufacturers are just too full of greed to take the huge leap just yet. They're going to drag this out to the bitter end, even if it means the next 10 years gradually moving to more plug in Hybrids until they finally give up the gasoline! It's super frustrating, but the way it will be unfortunately.

Where do you think the electric source come from? It’s false to think it is clean when behind the scenes, it creates more pollution to bring and build the batteries for the cars..Gas will be here to stay for a very long time. Thanks

I can not stand SUVs! These things serve no purpose but to make the automakers big profits by overcharging for these things and consumers fell right into their trap.
