You wont hit 200 with that wing up. The standard wing makes some down force. That adjustable wing in the up position is just a brake.

That’s absolutely no problem, I’ve hit 212 km/h (202 gps) with 160 hp in my Citroen c2 on semi slicks and it would have gone further if it didn’t hit the limiter
@@Jonas-hh9fu Did you have a giant airbrake on the back end? My NA Abarth easily hits 200 with plenty left to go with the standard wing. No Autobahn needed.

I used to have a 595 Abarth esseesse. The car I regret the most for selling. I was leaving the country at that time so had to sell it. Now I have a M bimmer, still miss that car a ton

No I’ve learnt that now, next time it needs to go flat!
Try it and let us know but I don’t think it will get you to 200km/h, maybe very close. You should also try a step1 remap with a soft tuning of the exhaust line like a downpipe with a 200 cells catalytic and GPF off. The idea is to optimise what you already have that is fair enough to have real fun with this car.

One of the best bangs for Bucks cars out there. never owned one but I did hire one for a 10 holiday in Austria , we had a blast driving this car in Austria this is a great car to drive for such a small car .

@@thuglife2791 like everything there is always something better out there if you need it that is , In my case living in a large City with major Parking issues and good public transport. I current have no need for a Car If and when I need such things then Hire cars or Car Share fits my bill.

I own simple 500 and even with NA engine it's one of the best cars. Keeps me smiling everytime. For note: I have 1.4l with manual gearbox=)

These sound amazing for what they are. I would have gotten one as a fun little daily, but worry about reliability, so I'm still waiting for the Corolla GR to come out Stateside.

Keep the mx-5. The Abarth looks, feels and sounds great - but after driving Abarth for 8,5 years (both the 500 and 595) I know the build quality is really low and dependend of the country where you want to drive the ecu delivers a 3 sec power failure to make the car stay within legal noise emissions ...
If you want the Abarth fun into an MX5, all you have to do is to buy a 124 spider, which is precisely a MX5 with the turbocharged Abarth engine under the hood.

Merci pour ce partage, une question en levant ton aileron tu gagnes en appui mais tu perds en vitesse de pointe. Tu as essayer de tourner aileron à l'horizontal pour voir la différence de vitesse de pointe sur le circuit
En effet, il faut choisir entre la déportance et la vitesse. .... avec l'aileron complètement à plat et sur une piste sèche, nous pourrions atteindre les 200 km/h. J'espère pouvoir le tester à nouveau la prochaine fois ! 🤞😄

The tuning and personalization possibilities on these cars are endless :)
Series 3 was quite cool except of the immense amount of quality issues it suffered from. From series 4 on (european version with t-jet engine) fiat/fca introduced a new function into the ecu to deliver a full 3 seconds long total power failure on power request to prevent the engine/exhaust noise becoming too loud. So dependend on the will of the ecu you lost 3 seconds when you shift from 2nd to 3rd, 3 sec. again from 3rd to 4th and another 3 sec. from 4th to 5th.

do like these cars, alweays hold a high respect in my heart as ive owned two. But the biggest issue for me was the crazy high seating position and lack of reach adjust steering wheel
Oh yeah, I have a 695 rivale for a month and I’m like why the car is so low and the seating so high, I’m pretty tall something like 1.85m the pedals are too close for me and the steering a little bit too far, the car is unique this is people love it I think

drove one not too long ago, I was surprised by how damn heavy those doors are! and how cheap the interior felt. Also WAYYYYY less torque than a mini cooper S. Felt disappointing, but it was the base 140cv...
With a less agressive attack angle of that spoiler you would propably be able to reach 200. I hardly believe that this even creates downforce at that angle. It looks more like an airbrake than a spoiler.

Sure there are lot of faster cars but in this you feel like racing with a not antisocial speed.......a Porsche or let's say supercar are so powerful you don't have the chance to get the full potential out without driving like a lunatic....love this baby racer
Exactly! You can actually floor it from the start and the big brakes give confidence. I’d never do that in a Porsche without first getting used to it. 😅

What I don’t understand is that it only has a 5-speed. My Mito ha a 6-speed and at 120 km/h it already sounds as if it wants to shift to the next gear 😅

I have the abarth evo. Got it new in 2012 and still have it now. Love the car but wish they made a new one with a good 300bhp..
Cambelt went yesterday whilst driving. Shattered all pistons and valves. Garage are saying it needs a new engine to much damage 😭😭😭😭😭😭

The problem was is that I run into money issues and couldn't really afford to look after it.. didn't have a service for last 3 years so it's my own fault... finally getting back on my feet now. Covid ruined everything for me. I would happily buy another one and will be getting another one. Plus its nice to see something other then a fiesta st...

Cool little car no doubt, but when I was at the Fiat dealer I couldn’t fit into one (regular Abarth), and Im a skinny (albeit tall) guy
I’m overweight and 181 cm in the evening. I fit, but with the helmet on I touch the roof.
