I was googling how to get a car in a box truck and this is the first video that I've seen that's actually a good idea. Other videos were things like getting a car onto a flatbed trailer using plywood then bridging to the truck using more plywood. More than one video showed people doing that. Lol
Hey! its good to see you guys up here in Wisconsin. Might be looking to get something like these in the near future. Kenosha county. Great looking product.
Hi Dunderland241, The modular design allows these ramps to be broken down. When the ramps are broken down they will be compact enough to store in the vehicles trailer. For more information on this product the link in the video description will take you directly to the product page
OK. Now how do you strap the car down inside to stop it from moving forward? I imagine you could use some nailed down 2x4 or 4x4s on the floor of to chalk the wheels. But is that enough with DOT?
I hauled a car before. What I did was nail a 2 by 4 to the floor beside each wheel. Then put two pallets in the front and back. But I hired a flat bed wrecker to put the car in the trailer then one to take it out.
And this was the perfect demonstration on how to achieve lower back injuries. Thanks!
