Very nice arrangement, Tom!! Really great! I did an arrangement of Claudette for my surf band. I always thought Claudette (by Roy Orbison) was the inspiration for Please Please Me. The Beatles did open for Roy in England, and said that Please Please Me was inspired by Roy. (In my arrangement, I channelled the Everly Brothers.) Love your work!
Wow! I always thought Please Please Me was inspired by Cathy’s Clown. The Everly Brothers did Claudette too. So much great music.
@@tomcon21 It's only my opinion. I've never read anything to confirm what I think about this. You sure can hear the similarity in the first part of the melody, though!
