I adore the original it's my absolute favourite perfume, I always go back to it even when I try other perfumes, nothing beats it imo 💕

I love this perfume. It’s so pretty. I didn’t think I would fall in love 🥰 with it. It’s different but soft and stunning at the same time.
I feel exactly the same way about this-soft but stunning is a great way to describe it.
I totaly adore this fragrance! Ideal for summer!
I just love this one, it's so warm and cozy and it wouldn't surprize me if this will actually work better for me as a winter scent (where I live we still have a bit of snow and winter degrees), as I feel that the sweetness and warmth of this fragrance combats the harsch winter. I feel so uplifted, and even though it kind of evoces thoughts of summer, the beach and creamy coconut drinks, I wonder if I will find this to cloying in the summer. It will be exciting to see. Two sprays have lasted some good 12 hours on me. I want to bade in it, but have tried to be somehwat office friendely. 😇😄
Really wanted to like this because of the coconut, It smelt nice on paper but smelt like scented Duplo play doh on my skin. Thank you for the review.

The coconut is quite noticeable but as someone already mentioned, quite linear (and a bit tiresome and one dimensional after a while). I prefer the original as while it's quite strong, after the initial astringent patchouli opening, it has a lovely sticky sweet dry down, provided you don't overspray.

Thanks for your thoughts on this fragrance. I have to tell you that I got a decant of Tom Ford's Bitter Peach and I am enjoying it - I just don't think I can justify the price - I'll have to wear it a little longer to test the longevity and dry down some more. 350 US dollars for 50ml is a lot though! I love this one getting loads of compliments when I wear it, not too loud I don't smell it on me though .
Yeah this one was a fail for me. I had to return it. It is screechy in the opening then dries down to an eau de soleil blanc. Just a no for me.
I tried this one in store, the la vie est belle you mentioned, I had the same experience but I don’t like it enough to get this one. I smelled a lot of marshmallow towards the end. I hate marshmallow, don’t like the taste or smell of marshmallow whether that note was in it or not, that’s what I thought of.
I'm going to test it 🌴🌴🍹 just love coconut 🤷🏽♀️
Very synthetic coconut note. I could not wait to wash it off of my wrist. Gave it about 2 hours. :(
I have the original and haven't worn it as much as I should. I loved the Intensement last year though! This one sounds so nice as well. I don't have any of the Tresor line so now I'm torn, lol.
👋🏽 I bought a bottle because I’m a sucker for anything iridescent 🤦🏻♀️ A quick test on paper made me immediately think of a softer, lighter PR Olympea. So I’m good with that. I’ll look for the coconut note when I wear it!

The Soleil Cristal I have does not have patchouli bergamot or Jasmine in it. It sounds like you’re describing the original.
Would you call this a coconut - scent? I havent tried it yet. But how dominating is the coconut?
The dry down is very coconatey on me.
To me it smells primarily like sunscreen, a little coconut but not a deep or realistic one.

@@catherinebarnes8440 Yes, Soleil Cristal smells similar to Bronze Goddess to me though not a dupe. I prefer La Nuit Tresor Nude to both of them.
@@catherinebarnes8440 which bronze goddess?. If ur talking about the OG made around 2001 than its absolutely not similar. Either is the newer bronze goddess. U could have both..imo they are beachy but not similar.

to my nose I get a VERY sweet nutty coconut & vanilla fragrance with florals
This one was too sunscreen for me and like a less sweet, less delicious version of La Nuit Tresor Nude.

So quick question, am I the only one who can’t stand any perfume with patchouli in it? Like this perfume, on my skin all I could smell is patchouli - so overwhelmingly strong. And it smells awful to me. Some of the most popular that so many like such as the original of this are just complete no’s for me.. am I like the only one that feels this way?
Me too. As soon as there is patchouli in a perfume, I know it won’t work for me :(

I'd agree with that. I describe it as the "ugly sister" to La Nuit Tresor Nude. Not as sweet or delicious and more sunscreen.

No. I hate Olympia. It smells trashy. Dont get the hype. This is completely different and beautiful..imo

I am a massive fan of the original La vie est Belle but this is so different it's not ice ,couldn't wait to wash it off.
