Ice flower is supposed to make a path when you walk on water and you can shoot ice balls which freeze enemies.
yes but also it could be a reference to those tools at the end of roblox obbies that spawn a path under the player just like the ice flower does in this video

I suppose the power-ups would have negated the principle of deep innovation that the developers wanted to convey in Odyssey

Honestly the time one looks like something you'd see in a super mario galaxy game. Andlikely could be used with some interesting puzzle mechanics. Now as for the name I think reverse mushroom and reverse Mario would work better.
