I think that many of the adult kids have decided to leave the IBLP teachings in the past. When you consider what has gone on with Josh and the fact that Jim Bob lied o them about being paid for the show I think many of the kids have decided to go their own way. Now that Jim Bob has been exposed the kids have more power than they have had in the past. I personally think it is a good thing that Jason is living his life his way. I think the kids have seen their brother go to jail and they have seen Bill Gothard ousted due to his abuse of young girls. They must have come to the conclusion that what they were taught was wrong and they no longer want to follow the IBLP. Who can blame them. What is being displayed id that the kids now have control over their lives in ways that their older did not. At this point it is not a matter of gender it is a matter of the kids seeing that what they were taught was wrong and not in keeping with what Jesus taught. You have to remember that they have watched their older siblings come into their own and live life on their own terms and they want to do the same. They have seen Jana not get married and now wear pants. I think they realize what they were taught was crap. It did not help their brother stay out of trouble and therefore they have the right to live their lives the way they want.
