I really liked this one too and wish there was more of ancient cyberpunk Camelot articles as a canon. There is hope for a sequel with the new incubator. But as a stand-alone article this is 10/10 for me.
At first I was annoyed because Guinevere traditionally doesn’t have any children, but then it got to the bit about Sir Bedivere and that was genius. He was the knight tasked with returning Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake, here bringing Guinevere the code to start a new clone of Arthur, fulfilling the prophecy of Arthur being the Once and Future King. Then I looked up the other names, and turns out they’re from sources older than the medieval tales I’m familiar with. Gwydre: mentioned only once as a son of Arthur who was killed by a king turned into a boar in one of the oldest Arthurian stories. Hilde: found in an Icelandic saga, but I can’t find an English translation easily online. Amr: killed by Arthur himself, the size of his grave changing whenever someone went to measure it: 6’, 9’, 12’, or 15’. Archfedd: a daughter listed in a Welsh genealogy. Mordred of course is the traditional destroyer of Camelot, here wielding the sword he stole from Arthur and later killed him with in the Alliterative Morte Arthure.
Something I noticed with the description of the broken god according to guinevere, it sounded a whole lot like the factory. The mention of rust and their desire to end the universe is very much in line with that particular scp
Hey man,i just wanted to thank you for introducing me to the warhamner 40k universe. I subbed to your channel simply for the SCP content, but discovered many new things such as the cthullu mythos and 40k. Keep up the good work
Bro the warhammer 40k universe is a massive rabbit hole and once you start you wont want to stop! Its the best thing i have ever found on youtube like 5 years ago and i still learn new shit everyday! Watch vids by leutin09 and weshammer. Majorkill is good also if you like a little funny shit with it. 40k theories and Arch are some good ones but the top of the list is Baldemort!
I work nightshift at a hotel and regularly have 3-4 hour periods where I am sitting at a desk w nothing to do. Your vids make the nights go so much better. I’d love more of the 40k lore vids I’m new to ttrpgs and it’s on my bucket list to play it
Check out Baldemort for great 40k videos as well. He writes his own fan stories that are better written (and more lore accurate) than a lot of official 40k content.
So… Explained is great, HOWEVER… may I spread the Holy Doctrine of Leutin? If you’re looking for the best 40K lore. Also, watch the short film “Astartes.”
Can't imagine they'd let him be born? This "mordred" according to the story single handedly whiped out an entire technologically advanced kingdom like 1600, 1700 years ago, AND he's still alive.....unless he's a documented scp already I think I'd at least hear what day old Arthur has to say
It seems to me like Guinevere is allowing the Foundation to walk the halls, basically as her form of entertainment (she hasn't spoken to anyone for a thousand years). And the Foundation haven't tried anything hostile yet, so they haven't found out the limits of her capabilities. (Equally, she doesn't know the extent of their abilities.) Here's how I imagine it would go: the Foundation tries to breach Arthur's incubator, but it turns out to be more heavily shielded than they expected; they estimate it would take 6 hours to bring in the specialised equipment needed to penetrate the shielding; but, in a dark hallway a kilometer away, thousands of incubators emerge from the walls with the status "forced rapid growth"; 5 hours later, the Foundation loses contact with all personnel inside the structure.
Biopunk future tech Arthurian legend is so fucking cool. I want more of this! Either through the already existing canon or the author taking the concept further.
One thing I really like about this one, at least compared to the several others I have seen, is that it is quite unusual. Things seem much more based in normality, well, compared to the lovecraftian alternatives and the being the SCP Foundation meets is friendly, wants to talk and explains most of what they don't understand. While I love mystery and enjoy some love craft style stories, I appreciate them more when I get some variation, especially such a significant variation as this. I wonder how many similar SCPs are out there... I will have to keep watching...
The finale of Guinevere receiving the order to revive Arthur really hit me, after everything she talked about going through it was nice to end on a happy note for her.
IDK, she’s still tragic in a way. She clearly was greatly devoted to the King by her own choice, but at the same time, it seems like the King didn’t value her like he should have. He killed one her children when he was no longer useful, and then didn’t even return his remains to her.
With that in mind, when we getting a legal translated release for Fate/Stay Night in its Realta Nua visual novel form? Competition like Steins;Gate and CLANNAD have already beaten it on that point, I'll say.
I like it! I went on a massive binge of the top rated scp articles a while ago, reading a few thousand entries at least. But I'm glad to see there are still gems that I haven't discovered. Having such a large shared universe that can constantly be expanded since there's no canon is very awesome.
You get me through my nights at work my man I always look forward to your uploads every week... You're also my first exposure to war hammer 40k I'm learning a lot and look forward to what you have to teach

Thanks a ton for another SCP video, I can’t get enough of yours! I always looked forward to two SCP videos. I don’t care much about warhammer so now it makes each SCP video a little more long awaited.
This kind of thing happens all throughout history. I don't know enough ancient folklore to state this for sure, but I expect King Arthur's legend was an adaptation and expansion of something more primitive, perhaps a union of several separate now-forgotten mythical heroes into the story of a single hero-king and his retinue. Since much of it would have come from pre-christian times, all the Grail stuff would have been either pagan in origin or shoehorned in centuries later by christian writers. Interesting to see an old legend adapted to something from our own time.
Quality content, as always (especially nice to see that SCP is not phased out yet!), although 23min is disappointingly short for your standards, we got accustomed to 1h-long videos:D
hey, just want to say I've been really enjoying your 40k content as well as the scp stuff. I like the new direction and I hope you keep going doing what you're doing with the channel ❤

Never thought I'd listen to an article about how King Arthur is a cyborg, but that was interesting to say the least
Cyborg Arthur still expects a better nursery 🤣
Multiverse Theory and the SCP mythos will ever provide.
You'll have your mind blown by what Marshall, Carter & Dark did with George Washington then.

I could just imagine as Guinevere was describing Stielenot, the researching there was just thinking "Oh boy here we go again". Great work
Completely. At that exact moment "oh shit yes"

I love how this channel visits the more lengthy, more obscure SCP’s instead of the more popular ones.
I think because all the popular ones have been covered by him lol
I just finished reading the entry on my own and I will only say one thing: "He will know that you have found this."
No matter what setting. A "Once and Future king" is always my favorite
Never heard of this canon, but I really love the "mechanical Camelot" idea!
The Foundation should keep Arthur as a contingency plan against the Broken God fanatics
They could get incorporated as an elite MTF. They've even already got their own cool call sign.

This is why I love the the SCP universe. So many origin stories that find ways to tie into other parts other canons. Great stuff as always, TES.
TES did clarify, there are NOT additional entries, at least not right now, that continue the story of this proposed setting.
