That is good to know, I worked at a JoAnn fabrics years ago and there was something that we had to do which I thought was not necessary. While we were cutting fabric, we would ask the customer, " oh, what are you making" most of the time they would tell you. So if they were making clothes with the fabric, you would put a code next to the item. And you wouldn't be taxed. If it was for making a craft item, they would put that on there. If someone wasn't sure what they were making, I would put the no tax number code. Everyone else put the tax code in. This was in Minnesota back in the 1990's. Not sure if they still do this today. The thing was, I honestly was interested in what someone was going to make with their fabric. I always reminded the customer to make sure if they needed thread to match. The JoAnn fabrics that was in my town, shut it's doors for good on April 20th this year. The last few days pretty much everything was 90% off. I got a few really good deals. On the receipt it showed original price and then what you saved. It was something like $249 and total amount with discounts came to $24 . Hopefully someone will find this useful.
@@Janis342 Maybe this is something they did at that particular store for some reason? But that's not why they ask. (You normally have to be set up as "tax exempt" to have sales tax waived.) Technically they're required to ask every person what they're making, but TBH, no one is going to do that every time, so if they ask, they're probably either being nice or are actually curious about it 🤣

It has always been that way. Maximum cost is 50% of marked price. BUT if item happens to be on sale, the 50% will be against the sale price. Most fabrics can only because 2 yard or less. Some higher end fabrics or fleece can be 1 1/2 yards. And the sale price will always come up when the sku is scanned at register. I have worked at Joanns for over 30 years and shopped there before that. Always been that way. And the 75% off sales are dictated by corporate not-by the store.
I knew you got the sale price but wasn't sure how they continued to discount. When ever they explained it to me it didn't make sense. The way you explained it made it so easy to understand. Thank you. I feel a sudden urge to run to JoAnns. Lol

The remnant section is SOOO nice! If there’s a yard pr less on a bolt that was put away my store will honor the remnant pricing. There is something to look out for, though. I’ve been to Joann in Reno, NV (where I live) and Roseburg, OR and in both stores have told me and other customers who have asked for remnant pricing at the cut counter and every time I’ve been told “it’s the marked price on the tag” when I know very well that’s not how it works! Yes, when they are having a great sale, like last weekend door busters for Memorial Day, it is discounted off the current price. So, I got flannel and quilting cotton fabrics for like a $1.50 per yard. It was awesome! I got one remnant that was priced at $28, for $5
Hello, Carol! Thank you so much for watching! Yes, it’s always been a mystery to me as well until I happened to find out from an employee this time. It can be very frustrating that their pricing isn’t more transparent! Hope you’re having a great week, Carol! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I got caught up in the remnant bin sale this past winter. I would stop at the store on Sunday as they had tons of remnants from the Saturday sales. If the remnant wasn't big enough and I needed extra for sleeves or bands I would check to see if there was a bolt of the same fabric in the regular fabric section. I could usually find it at 40% off. Got some great fabric for cheap sweatshits and gifts for the grandkids.
The remnants don't go 75% off every weekend, they only do that at certain times. They might be doing that at this particular store but it's not a standard thing.
Hi former Hoosier here in Corpus Christi, Texas. Still Hoosier at heart and I go to the remnant section as soon as I get through the door. Just ran across your video. Jo Ann's has best deals. I'm one to take the rest of the bolt. If there's any left like yard or less I just get it too to be safe. From allen County area. Good luck with your channel
Fellow Hoosier here! I was thinking that JoAnns didn't stack sales, But I was thinking of a different store that always has exclusions you don't find out about unless you bring a magnifying glass to read the small print. I am glad to know there are some good deals out there!

I know that if you take the extra bolt end at the cutting table, it is discounted to what the remnants would be priced. I've seen labels with the before and after price. I appreciate that the name of the fabric is on the label so I know where in the store it came from. I once spotted a pretty red polar fleece in the fleece remnant bin. The band had come off, so I took it to the table when I had everything as I figured it would have to be measured to check out. The poor girl had to dig through the bin for the correct loose label 😆 I was worried she was going to fall in... (it's playpen sized) The bins for other fabric remnants are small. That turned into a favorite hoodie vest!
Apparently it's a secret kept from some employees too. I had an employee argue with me that the marked price of a remnant was already 50% off. The remnant I was looking at was priced for more than the regular price on the bolt! I told them to keep it. 😊
At the stores I've been to, remnants are 50% off the same price if it were on the bolt. So if Keepsake Calicos are 40% off, you pay 30% of the regular price on a remnant.
@lovly2cu725 I get what you are saying and I hate when stores do that. They aren't going out of business, but they will be if they don't make some positive changes.
Hello, Cheryl! Thank you so much for watching! Yes! That’s exactly what I would do as well, Cheryl, before I found out this sales formula they use! Now remnant shopping is even more fun! Hope you have a great week, Cheryl! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I had no idea this is how the remnant sale worked! 🤯 Will need to pay closer attention to that section next time. I usually skip it because I figure the pieces are too small anyway, but you got some decent sized ones for dirt cheap! Thank you for sharing. 😊
I buy a lot of things on the remnants sales at Joann. I look for the bathing suit fabric, they usually have a piece or 2 and that way i always have extra to match my prints. And buy tons of fleece to make hats.
Hello, Brenda! Thank you so much for watching and for the great tips on kinds of fabrics to look out for! Swimsuit fabric would be an excellent find! Those take such small amounts of fabric you might be able to make a whole project just from the remnant section! Fleece would be another great one to stock up on, those fleece hats take small amounts of fabric, as well. Love these ideas, Brenda, you’re giving me lots of inspiration 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Hello, Linda! Thanks so much for watching! No, you don’t have to get these repriced or ask for any special sale. Every register or handheld a employee uses should give you these sales automatically. I also price check my remnants before purchasing just to help me decide which I actually want. If you ask when you price check them, the employee can tell you what sale the fabric is currently on within the store. Hope this helps! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
You can ask an employee to scan the remnant label and it will tell them if the fabric is on sale and what the final price for the piece will be (but they have to scan it in the mode they use for cutting fabric)
I didn't know this little secret. I will have to go to JoAnn's on the weekends now. I try to hit major stores during the week to avoid the crowds. I have never bought any remnants though because the price was way out of my budget, which seemed strange to me. Thank you for this really good tip!! I will be heading to JoAnn's on Saturday! Have a wonderful week and God Bless.
Hello, Shanna! Thank you so much for watching! I hope you have a great experience hunting for those bargain remnants! I would definitely give your store a call before you go and see if the 75% remnant sale is going on before you make the trip. They don’t always have that sale going, it’s sporadic throughout the month, at least for my store anyway. Thanks for chatting with me, Shanna! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany

Hi, Margaret! Thanks so much for watching! Great question! Every register or handheld an employee price checks with should automatically give you these sales, you don’t need to ask for the sales. I asked the cutting table employee for a price check on each remnant for their cost before I made a final decision. I would think the front cashier could do the same for you. Hope this helps! I have bought remnants and expected the price to be half of the sticker price however I did not know the fabric would be discounted by the same amount as the same type fabric still on the bolt! Even more savings! Thanks for this tip!
Hello, Marci! Thanks so much for watching! Yes, even more savings is great with me 🥰 Hope you’re having a wonderful week, Marci! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Yes, I've known about the remnant sales. I used to get a lot of quilting fabrics from the remnant bin (small bits are good - they get cut into smaller pieces anyway!). Also when Kona solids were on sale,I would cull the remnant bins for various colors. Since they've been at the 75% off, I haven't really found any good fabrics, though.
I sew doll clothes as a hobby, and I ❤ the remnant section in crafting stores. It always feels like a treasure hunt. When sewing on a small scale like that, you can get several pieces - or even several garments - out of a remnant. The only time I pay full price for anything is when I need a specific fabric for a particular project (and even then, I usually have a coupon).
I was always confused on the price of the remnants. I love to buy them cause you can make so many cute creations with them! Thanks for the info this will get me over in the remnant section more often. 👍🏽
Hello, Debbie! Thank you so much for watching and Welcome! I’m so glad you found my channel and I can’t wait to get to know you better! 🥰 Hope you’re having a great weekend, Debbie! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Yes, I love this and hope it doesn't change now that they are reorganizing from bankruptcy! I use it to get nice quilt fabrics and quilt batting to make small projects like hotpads, interfacing (often 50% off already), lining fabric, batiks., fleece and felt for crafts. I got a yard of linen for $2 to supplement some I bought on sale - if there are multiple bolts, you could use a remnant piece to cut sleeves or a bodice and then purchase the rest you need to make an item from the remaining bolts on the shelf, making sure the dye lots match. It's one of my favorite places in the store, and I'm using a remnant piece of fabric right now, in fact, while I watch sewing videos!
I love the remnants because, I use the fabrics to try something new and if I mess up or it doesn't work out as I have imagined, it doesn't hurt my pocketbook so bad.
So tempting!!! So dangerous!!! A great buy is the fleece in remnants. Great for baby blankets and remnants always end up being less than $2 for the fleece. Thanks for another great video!!
Hello, Rosemary! Thank you so much for watching! Oh yes! I always see fleece in the remnant section, I need to get a few pieces, they would be really handy to have on hand! Thanks so much for chatting with me, Rosemary! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany

The remnants at my Joann store were all fleece fabrics. I looked around and couldn't find any other remnants. Maybe I just was there at the wrong time. When I have fabric cut and there is less than a yard left, they offer me the end piece at 75% discount so I always take it. Your remnants are gorgeous!
Hello, Dillis! Thank you so much for watching! Yes, sometimes the remnant section doesn’t have much selection. I do love how they offer those end of bolts at the remnant price as well. It always tempts me to just buy it all, lol! Hope your health is improving, Dillis, I’ve been thinking of you often and saying prayers for you! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I think they changed the software on the scanners (they screwed it up) and now they can't give you 75% off unless they mark it as damaged. So they might only be able to make it 50% off now
I used to ask and no and pick a bolt that was near the very end get the amount that I wanted at a regular price and then the piece that was a yard or under was a remnant piece and get it for next to nothing I've been doing that 40 yrs. I used to sit and figure it out and calculate it. This came in handy when I was doing quilting.
The sign on the remnants bin says, “75 or 50% off of the bolt price”, depending on the sale they are running that day. The tag reflects the full retail price. I usually pick out my remnants and go check the price on the bolt, then do the math and decide if I want to buy it.
Even better than that is if you buy fabric from a bolt that may be only has 3 yards left and it’s on sale, go ahead and buy the 3 yards and then the rest of it will be approximately a yard or less than you can get it at the remnant price which is super cheap so you’ll get up to an extra yard for almost nothing. I actually will look at the end of a bolt and estimate how many yards are left and then when I go up, I can usually ask them for a certain amount and be guaranteed for about a yard at the remnant price a lot of my quilt backing material this way.
Hello, Shelly! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing this about the yardage! Very smart way to get that extra yard for a fraction of the actual cost! I’ve done this a few times but mostly by accident. I need to remember this for the future! Hope you have a great week, Shelly! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
When looking at a bolt, each two folds is one yard. It has 6 folds = 3 yds. Asked them to measure what there. Ask for 35" less, then ask for the 35" as a remnant.
@@jilbertb I understand people want to get as good of a deal as they can, but please don't do this on every bolt of fabric you bring up. Also, please don't badger them if they tell you they can't discount certain fabrics - you can always ask them to double-check with a manager, but there are some fabrics that can't be made into remnants.
I agree. I have that green floral print gauzy fabric, it's one of my favorites. (They also sometimes have the same print in different colors and fabric types - I think I've seen a pink fleece, a blue knit, and a quilting cotton)
Hello, Maritza! Thank you so much for watching! Welcome! I’m so glad you found my channel and I can’t wait to get to know you better 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Hello, Gloria! Thanks so much for watching! Any register or employee handheld should give you the correct final cost of these remnants. When flannel was on sale for $2.99 a yard, the remnants were also 75% off… I stocked up. I also stocked UP on fleece at the same time. I’m planning on making some fleece hats/scarves to donate next winter. Our schools collect them to give out to kids. I also wanna make some rag quilts to donate. I think when I did the math I got 17 yards of fabric total for like $15 😂. Aaaaaaand this is where I pull my fabric for donation projects. I’ve been keeping an eye out for knits and other fancy fabrics. I wanna use those to practice techniques. 😂 Most of the remnants at my local store are definitely fleece. Or maybe folks are buying the knits when I’m not around 😂😂😂
Here's a trick, buy an oversized Tshirt on sale $2.99. Cut it apart and use the "fabric" for your top. You can also make a dress from a Tshirt. Cut it off at waist level. Add a square or circular piece of fabric with a hole cut in the center. (Look up "circle skirt calculator" for hole cutting measurement.) Great for little kids - a dress for under $5!!!!
Usually people who are buying fleece don't sew and are making those fringed blankets so they don't want the leftover pieces (that's why there's always so much fleece), whereas people buying knit fabric are experienced sewers you know what a good deal it is (a lot of people are - understandably - terrified of knits 👀) so they usually take the remainder... LOL
Hello, Zelda! Thank you so much for watching! No, I found all my remnant pieces together in my store’s remnant section, it’s usually by the thread in my stores. I then always have the cutting table employee check the prices for the remnants that I want. They can scan them and tell you what the out the door cost is. Great question, Zelda! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I found out about that great sale practice several years ago. I was taking my mom to the doctor quite regularly for awhile. One day we decided to lift our spirits and check out Joann's as Mom wanted a new project to work on. I could hardly believe the goodies I found in their remnant area! I was making bags and totes at the time and scored a lot of home decor fabric remnants. The fabric has some heft to it, so it was perfect for the bags I was making. It's been a favorite place to shop for a long time and comes filled with "mom" memories.
Hello! Thanks so much for watching! No, I don’t think they are on the 75% sale every weekend. I would definitely call your store and check their sales before you drive that far 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I think it varies from store to store but they definitely don't do that every weekend lol The stores here seem to do it for a few weeks around Christmas and in the summer, but I don't know if they do that everywhere, and I think they can also do it arbitrarily as long as they get permission (like if they have too many)
The last time I was in Joanns I bought 90$ of double brushed Poly. The cashier then said he would ‘Stack’ the coupons I had on my app. So he scanned the $15 off 75$ then he scanned the $10 off $50 then $5 off $35 . Price I paid was a little over $ 50. Not sure if they’re supposed to do this but it sure was a good deal.
Also, don't worry about whether they're supposed to do it or not - it's not their problem if the people that programmed the coupons made them work like that 😂
Yeah I’ll check them to see if what I’m buying is in there I’ll buy w/e amount they have in it and then if I need more I’ll buy it at the regular price

Thank you very much for the information. Great delivery
I always check the remnants section when Interfacing is on sale. It's great for trying out different types.
Wow who knew....so always ask and do your research and buy on a weekend....thx for sharing this gem of knowledge wow u got such cute fabric
The remnants don't go 75% off every weekend, they only do that at certain times. They might be doing that at this particular store but it's not a standard thing.
Very informative!!!! Thank you!!!!!
Amei todas as bolsas lindas e de muito bom gosto.Parabens #mamacoo 😘😘😘
Wow we! I didn’t know that! When I look at the remnant prices they always seem so high so I don’t buy any! Thank you so much for that information!😊
Hello, Michele! Thank you so much for watching! So glad I could pass along the info! Let me know if you find anything good in your remnant section 😉 Thanks for chatting with me, Michele! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Prices change so often that it’s impossible to keep reprinting labels with current prices
I did not know about that secret. I will check out the remnant bins next time I'm there. Thanks for the great information!
Hello, Diane! Thank you so much for watching! So glad I could pass along the info! Let me know if you find anything good in your remnant section 😉 Thanks for chatting with me, Diane! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
That’s why there’s supposed to be a piece of masking tape with the e info on it taped to the selvage
Apparently it's a secret kept from some employees too. I had an employee argue with me that the marked price of a remnant was already 50% off. The remnant I was looking at was priced for more than the regular price on the bolt! I told them to keep it. 😊
Same with me. I asked why was there a 50% off sign for remnants when they charge people the same as it is on bolt. She didn't have an answer for me
They are going out of business so they have to rip you off same as when home base went out of business.
@@lovly2cu725 Most of them are not going out of business, at least not yet. They will be if they don't make some improvements!
I never knew this! Wow! I’d look at sticker and back off. Now I know😊
Hello, Cheryl! Thank you so much for watching! Yes! That’s exactly what I would do as well, Cheryl, before I found out this sales formula they use! Now remnant shopping is even more fun! Hope you have a great week, Cheryl! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Me too!
I had no idea this is how the remnant sale worked! 🤯 Will need to pay closer attention to that section next time. I usually skip it because I figure the pieces are too small anyway, but you got some decent sized ones for dirt cheap! Thank you for sharing. 😊
i know .... so great i go and buy them all near a large city near me many one yard cuts but my smaller jo anns is amost always under a yard
Do you have to have it repriced at the cutting station before checking out? How do you know what the bolt price is on sale for?
Great tip! Thanks! I guess I’ll have to weekend shop sometime.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching! Hope you find lots of great remnants 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
@@hoosierhandmade22 Thank you, Tiffany. That is a good point. I will definitely call to see if the 75% sale is on. I do get their daily/weekly emails, do they put the sale in there? Have a wonderful evening Tiffany.
Thank you for sharing this information!! I shop, JoAnn a lots!! I will being paying attention next time!!
Thank you for telling us this. Will the cashier know about these prices or will you hav3 to go and get new sale price from person at cutting table ?
Hi, Margaret! Thanks so much for watching! Great question! Every register or handheld an employee price checks with should automatically give you these sales, you don’t need to ask for the sales. I asked the cutting table employee for a price check on each remnant for their cost before I made a final decision. I would think the front cashier could do the same for you. Hope this helps! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
@@hoosierhandmade22 thank you very much for getting back to me
Happy ,Happy sewing to you. ❤️
Yes I knew this. This is how I get trapped because I say I’m only going to remnants but end up walking around to see clearance only then on to other areas. lol 😊 thanks for sharing
Hello, Pat! Thank you so much for watching! Haha, yes, it does feel like a trap sometimes! Those clearance sections and that Last Chance fabric area are very tempting as well! I’ve had to skip going to Joann’s on a few occasions just to stay away from temptation! 🙈 Thanks so much for chatting with me, Pat! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Thank you for the tip!!!!
I had no idea😮 now I have to check it out Ty Tiffany 😊
Hello, Stephanie! Thank you so much for watching! Let me know if you get any goodies from your remnant section 😉 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Fabulous finds Tiffany :)
Hello, Agata! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment! Hope you have a wonderful day, Agata! 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I was always confused on the price of the remnants. I love to buy them cause you can make so many cute creations with them! Thanks for the info this will get me over in the remnant section more often. 👍🏽
Thanks, I will definitely look at the remnants from now on.
I've been looking for a garmet sewing utuber. Thank you. I'm so excited.
Hi! Yes, I've known about this since Covid. I didn't realize it was a secret. 😁 Thank you.!
I was lucky enough to learn about this some time ago. I love hitting up the remnants section. 😊
The fleece is my FAVORITE! I buy it to make blankets.
Interesting. I had no idea how this worked! You always have great video ideas.
I always search the remnant bin(s) for fabric. I use DBP for underpants and tank tops, and athletic knits for yoga waistbands on pants and skirts.
Hello, Jan! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing about your great experiences with the Remnant section! Those are great ideas for uses of smaller cuts of fabric, love it! Hope you have a great week, Jan! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I have no idea, Tiffany. Thank you for sharing.
Hello, Mimi! Thank you so much for watching! I hope you have a wonderful week, Mimi! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I have a small dog and like remnants of fleece for her pillows. If I was more ambitious I would make little sweaters. Definitely wait for the sales.
I had no idea. thanks for sharing. I'll check that out next time I'm in.
Hello, Catherine! Thank you so much for watching! Let me know if you find any great remnants 😉 Hope you’re having a wonderful week, Catherine! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Oh rib knit for collars and cuffs great idea!
Yes I head there first on most days I stop by
That’s y I always pick up the fabric that’s already on sale 😊😊
Yes, Tiffany, I am feeling much better. Back to my regular routine. Thank youu for your prayers!💖
Thanks for the info! ❤️🤗
Hello, Nancy! Thank you so much for watching! I hope you have a wonderful week, Nancy! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
The sign on the remnants bin says, “75 or 50% off of the bolt price”, depending on the sale they are running that day. The tag reflects the full retail price. I usually pick out my remnants and go check the price on the bolt, then do the math and decide if I want to buy it.
Wow. I did not know that. I just always thought the remnants were too expensive. Lol
Hi
Im from Indy as well!! Thank you great info!!
Hello! So neat to hear from a fellow Hoosier! Thank you so much for watching 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Fentastic thank you for sharing.
Was not aware of their pricing on remnants. Great Tip, thanks
You got some nice remnants!😊❤
Hello! Thank you so much for watching and for the kind comment! I hope you have a wonderful week! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I agree. I have that green floral print gauzy fabric, it's one of my favorites. (They also sometimes have the same print in different colors and fabric types - I think I've seen a pink fleece, a blue knit, and a quilting cotton)
Thanks for the great tip. I just found you and subbed 😊
Hello, Maritza! Thank you so much for watching! Welcome! I’m so glad you found my channel and I can’t wait to get to know you better 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Good to know!
Do the barcodes scan the correct price after the discounts or the price on the label?
Hello, Gloria! Thanks so much for watching! Any register or employee handheld should give you the correct final cost of these remnants. There’s no need to ask for this sale, it should apply automatically. I always like to price check all my remnants before I make my final decisions for purchasing. Hope this helps! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I didnt know the way they mark their material. I'll be a lot better choosing now. Thanks for the info.
I just learned about it a few months ago. Another secret is the end of bolt price! If it's less than I believe a yard, then they discount it more.
Thank you for this info. Who knew!
I have always passed on the remnants because they were always too expensive. It never looked like they discounted them. Guess I should take a second look.
Hello, Patty! Thank you so much for watching! So glad I could pass along the info! Let me know if you find anything good in your remnant section 😉 Thanks for chatting with me, Patty! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Most of the remnants at my local store are definitely fleece.
LOL
Did you have to go back to the last chance section to find the prices for the remnants?
Hello, Zelda! Thank you so much for watching! No, I found all my remnant pieces together in my store’s remnant section, it’s usually by the thread in my stores. I then always have the cutting table employee check the prices for the remnants that I want. They can scan them and tell you what the out the door cost is. Great question, Zelda! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
@hoosierhandmade22 Great to know! Thank you. I'm gonna do that because I saw a couple of pieces. I wanted, but it was priced too high.
Sometimes the fabric might have gone on clearance after they made the label so it might be significantly less expensive than what the label says... 😏
I had no idea. I do like to check out their remnant bin because you never know what you will find
Hello, Angie! Thank you so much for watching! Yes, the thrill is in the hunt, haha! 😆 Hope you have a wonderful week, Angie! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I found that price scheme to be true last time I was there. I think that's new, I don't remember it being a double sale before.
Been this way 30 yrs....
I did not know that. Thanks for the info!
What is the floral fabric in the upper right hand corner of the video?
Thanks!
Hello, Karen! Thanks so much for watching! Hope you have a great week! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
EVERY weekend remnants are 75% off? I have to drive an hour to get to a JoAnns so I have to make sure I got this right! Saturday AND Sunday?
Hello! Thanks so much for watching! No, I don’t think they are on the 75% sale every weekend. I would definitely call your store and check their sales before you drive that far 🥰 Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
I think it varies from store to store but they definitely don't do that every weekend lol The stores here seem to do it for a few weeks around Christmas and in the summer, but I don't know if they do that everywhere, and I think they can also do it arbitrarily as long as they get permission (like if they have too many)
Great tip ❤️👍
The last time I was in Joanns I bought 90$ of double brushed Poly. The cashier then said he would ‘Stack’ the coupons I had on my app. So he scanned the $15 off 75$ then he scanned the $10 off $50 then $5 off $35 . Price I paid was a little over $ 50. Not sure if they’re supposed to do this but it sure was a good deal.
I have had the occaisional "good" cashier also do this for me. 😊Always a nice surprise❤
@@abundantlyinspired yes it was ! I had 9 yards of fabric only marked down 25 percent. Most retailed 13-17 $ a yard. It came to about $6 a yard.
It took off the $15 and $10 and $5 at the same time?? 👀👀👀
Also, don't worry about whether they're supposed to do it or not - it's not their problem if the people that programmed the coupons made them work like that 😂
@@kumada84 yes they did. It worked and it was a tremendous deal
Yeah I’ll check them to see if what I’m buying is in there I’ll buy w/e amount they have in it and then if I need more I’ll buy it at the regular price
