I was just driving through two days ago. Honestly, DTLA could be so beautiful. In 1920, my great grandpa was killed in the line of duty. He was 18. LAPD put a memorial sign on Towne and 5th, and I can't even go see it or bring my kids to see it. Skid row is expanding too. Now, you could buy a multi million dollar home and not be able to walk your dog without stepping over these poor people. It's just sad all around.

Unfortunately yes. Most rescue mission bed space for the last 20 years has been prioritized for the multitude of single mothers with children. Besides that, rescue missions and homeless shelters have a staggering number of rules. About 27 pages of them! Everything from no cussing to lights out as early 8 :00 PM. And even 3:30 AM wake ups. The homeless mothers are usually disciplined and sane enough to comply. The winos, drifters and head cases that sleep in the tents on the sidewalks do not.

There is a city ordinance against blocking the sidewalk or impeding the public's ability to utilize the sidewalk. Why in the world aren't these people cited and forced to leave? They are obviously leaving trash, human waste and other trash all over the place. They are a public health hazard. All public land in California should be regulated and all laws on the books should be strictly enforced. These individuals should not be allowed to put the lives and health of law abiding citizens in jeopardy.

The so called administration of Los Angeles should be ashamed of themselves and all other cities that allow this. These people with drug addictions and mental health issues that can not control their lives need forced guidance. I suggest the programs that are implemented in Finland, Helsinki be looked at, Tiny house locations built and utilized . Policed if they have too. Rules strictly enforced with a no tolerance policy. Social services and it's workers need to do what they are trained to do. Clearly these people who cannot function need to be lead in the right direction .Harsh times call for harsh measures.

There is a city ordinance against blocking the sidewalk or impeding the public's ability to utilize the sidewalk. Why in the world aren't these people cited and forced to leave? They are obviously leaving trash, human waste and other trash all over the place. They are a public health hazard. All public land in California should be regulated and all laws on the books should be strictly enforced. These individuals should not be allowed to put the lives and health of law abiding citizens in jeopardy.

Getting A Place To Live Would Not Even Be Close To The Other Needs Of There's. In Order To Maintain The Mental Need Be Taken Care Of.

The so called administration of Los Angeles should be ashamed of themselves and all other cities that allow this. These people with drug addictions and mental health issues that can not control their lives need forced guidance. I suggest the programs that are implemented in Finland, Helsinki be looked at, Tiny house locations built and utilized . Policed if they have too. Rules strictly enforced with a no tolerance policy. Social services and it's workers need to do what they are trained to do. Clearly these people who cannot function need to be lead in the right direction .Harsh times call for harsh measures.
