Having meat on hand and already consumed should have been a key point made. Another great point I didn't hear was putting a row boat with cannon facing left side could also tip the scales in a 2v2 sloop fight.
That it can. I discovered this as a solo sloop one day in a fight with skeleton ships and then later another player sloop. I was able to use main cannon then run back and use row boat cannon to put twice the amount of normal shots on him than he could me from an angle he couldn’t return fire from. My buddies and I all prioritize cannon rowboats now. On any ship they give you a little extra versatility. Brigs and Sloops mostly, but Galleons can use it if one of the main cannoneers runs back there when the regular cannons have no shot
I think how the blunder bombs work is dependent on the ships position in a map compared to the sea dog tavern of all things. Depending on where you shoot it will turn them away from the tavern or towards them.
I love your answer to blunderbombs, you're not good enough to know. Makes me wanna go test it out and see myself, or ask around but I don't think my rep is big enough for that one.
Love your videos. Always a pleasure watching them. My question is did you run over someone's grate or did someone run over yours? Lol. Keep up the great work.
Amazing video, I would only correct this one little thing: main cannon shooting ONLY top decks is not always the best strategy. Better would be saying that main cannon should be the only one allowed to shoot top decks with cannonballs on purpose and rest of the crew should focus lowers. Also on smaller ships MC should stay on ship and try supporting boarder with cannons (Im talking like shooting ladders when boarder is climbing and stuff like that) even if MC is better at tdm, because well aimed cannons can be a missing ingredient to win 1v3 on enemy ship You probably already know this so im contributing nothing and sorry for taking your time
That would’ve been a better way to word it, I agree. And for sending boarders, yes I agree. That’s why in the video I said: **When I’m on a galleon my motto is to send at least 2 boarders or send none at all** Correct. On brig you usually wanna have MC stay on the boat in order to 1ball the ladder guarder. But I’m glad you said this. I’d rather people be vocal about what they disagree with about my videos, as this allows me an opportunity to see what I could be doing better / what I’m doing wrong.
