Although I agree it should have an button for the auto start/stop, you can save yourself a step and swipe down on the Home Screen and you'll find the start/stop there.

Use the shade on the touchscreen for the start/stop. Or try to run vehicle in sport mode to see if it will disable start/stop.

Thank you so much for the review. As a short person the seating position is crucial for me. I need to sit high up in the vehicle. Sitting down low causes me to need to raise the seat all the way up and my knees crush into dashboard in order to reach the pedals. Guess I'll have to keep searching.

I agree. At least 2 buttons would work.

Really good review! Just missing a small portion of a test drive and it would be perfect

Great review. Couple of questions that are probably answered in your review on the other channel.
I assume the engine is still Direct Gas Injection. I had a VW EOS with the 2.0 Turbo, we had terrible issues with carbon buildup on the intake valves after 50k miles. Also, if you did not put in premium, the power output of the engine was reduced. I loved the pep the engine had.
With the auto start/stop feature, as this is a small turbo engine, if you come to a stop after a spirited run, I would be concerned about cooking the bearings on the turbo. Unless the bearings are cooled even when the engine is in auto shutdown, I have seen tremendous heat buildup on the EOS around the turbo.
I have always loved VW's. The second car I purchased new was a VW Scirocco. Loved it. The first car was Saab 900 Turbo with a 2.0 Turbo that put out 140 HP. The VW Turbo motor is a superior engine, however, that is after 45 years of engine improvement.

Yes these are DI but the new 2.0 have much less issues with carbon buildup. Probably won’t need to be cleaned till 120k miles. Just like every other direct injected vehicle

Living in Chicago, it’s more urban driving with a stop sign on every corner.

It should be pointed out that VW offers FWD in base and SE w/ Tech trims. Both very well appointed in the refresh. If dealing with weather often. Switch to snows for winter. Saves weight, drag and maintenance of AWD. Should pickup 2-3 mpg if left in eco in a FWD. As well as being quicker than the AWD. Personally feel like AWD is overrated for what it is in most crossovers. Also the fact that VW chopped the top 2 inches makes the CrossSport the best looking ride in its class IMHO...@@jillciminillo
