    I have the black one I’ve had it for probably 10 years. I love it. Doesn’t spill. Stay cold all day.

    I have a 1.0 that was made in 2012 and yours was made in 2016, and I recently bought a 2.0 that was made 2019. Therefore, they switched to the 2.0 between 2016 and 2019.

    @Cabeen's Coffee Corner does the new lid fit on the old style mug?

    This is hilarious. I was actually looking for a video comparing the trigger action 1.0 and 2.0 because I read a review on amazon saying the 2.0 adds a bad taste to hot coffee, and I didn't find that to be the case but I'm not an expert on coffee. I have both the 1.0 and 2.0. I'm surprised that you still have the sticker on the 1.0 since mine got ruined from washing it. Also, Stanley discontinued the trigger action travel mugs, so they don't sell the 2.0 anymore, which surprised me since it is the best mug I ever used. You can still pick up a few of the 2.0 models from Amazon and other sites, but there aren't that many colors left.

      No way! That’s very recent! Maybe 3.0 on the way ?

      @@CabeensCoffeeCorner Here is something else I noticed on the 2.0. You see how your rubber stopper that blocks the hole in the mouthpiece is thin and flat? I have one from 2019 and the other two from 2023. (I bought 3 since they stopped making them, and they are harder and harder to find at normal prices. For example, after I bought them, the 20oz is no longer available new from Amazon. Now they are selling them used at a higher price. Who would buy a used mug?). Anyway, the 2019 has a better designed stopper. It is thicker and rounded, with a larger base tapering to the top like a pyramid with the top cut off. Therefore, it goes half-way up the drinking hole blocking more of it while the newer flat stoppers just cover the bottom of the hole. It seems, they were skimping a tiny bit on quality before they discontinued the mug.

      I've read that the next version of the Trigger Action is the Neverleak model, but honestly, I've got no idea. Maybe you guys know if it's true.
      I'm debating getting a 12oz Trigger Action flask because it's currently freezing temps here in South Africa, and I like to do research before buying things. At $43 (ZAR 800) it's not cheap.

      @@michaelsaunders1788 I don't know, but it looks like they used to make that and stopped making it.

    Can you brew with an aeropress directly in the new Stanley mug?

    Hey, question: does the 2.0 lid fit in/work for the 1.0 cup?

    • @josephcamhi5676
      @josephcamhi5676 4 месяца назад +1

      No. The 2.0 lid has smaller circumference even though I have a 16 ounce 1.0 and a 20 ounce 2.0.
