@@ericanderson1753no. A review is a personal experience of whatever it is about. You don't have to show something to discuss your personal experience. Do you expect a movie review to also include the movie?
@CabeensCoffeeCorner dropped a dislike because you called it a review, it isn't, and then you shrugged in the comments. Also, I didn't watch the video because you confirmed that you didn't review in the comments.
Man...I was really hoping you would've brewed coffee with it and show us. I understood you said its user friendly, but an actual brew would've completed the review. Nonetheless, good info tho.
@@doylebbq4329I see what you’re saying. You know what my major gripe is. It’s got this rectangular spout that does a terrible job on the initial bloom and earlier stages of the brew process. Everything else with the moccamaster is a home run
Waste of 19 minutes. This is literally the most feature rich drip coffee maker to ever exist and you didn't show any of it. "I'm not going to be plugging the unit in for this video." What!? I guess you have to cut some corners to be the FIRST review on RUclips.
It really doesn’t show much from turning it on. The app currently isn’t working so there is nothing to see there. It’s not the easiest to record a really tiny screen
I don't know why people like heating plastic and food together so much, when one could get 1-2 cups of much better coffer from Hario switch, Kalita Wave, V60 and a dozen of other brewers made from metal, ceramics or glass in a matter of 2 minutes. The same question applies to non-stick pans when there is stainless steel, carbon steel and cast iron. ... just why?
Otherwise it’s a $700 brewer. And I’d point out that the V60 has an official plastic version. It’s not ideal from a build quality perspective, but it’s food safe plastic and a tradeoff I value in terms of cost
@@jbnelson there is no such thing as food safe plastic. There are plastics already known to be harmful (BPA) and other plastics that are still being studied (the verdict took a decade for BPA and Teflon). The industry will always be ahead of FDA in their choice of materials but this doesn't make it safe. As far as price is concerned, most manual brewers cost less than $35 and you don't have to choose plastic V60.... We could leave it for Scott Rao.
@@makspyat BPA free is nothing but a marketing tool at this point. BPA plastics weren't that big a deal. Neither is Teflon. The evidence points to that caring so much about this would be a way bigger nuisance in my life than dealing with whatever repercussions it may or may not have.
19 minutes and you didn't use it or show us how it works?
you click start and it brews coffee. not much to see!
@@CabeensCoffeeCornerSo, you're not a coffee fan or experienced in anything?
Yeah the word review usually implies use. Haha.

Mine is in the mail. Got a notification yesterday. Can’t wait to play around with it.
FYI the app currently does not work
mine too
Kindly advise 1. if it will accept a US "ABLE" Brew basket 2? Presumably the 2 baskets for paper filters require 2 sizes? Please advise Numbers ?
I’m not sure? And yes it takes two different filters based of the s basket
Just got mine and brewed a few batches of coffee and initial thought is that it’s worth every penny.
100%
Please advise how many grams you use for a, say, 4 cup pot ? Thanks G. SW France
I think you’re the first review I’ve seen of this, thanks for posting! I’m excited to get mine in a few weeks :)
you will enjoy it
You mean the first non-review masquerading as a review 🤪
You lost me at “I’m not gonna plug this in for this video”
Sorry
People being super entitled in the comments. Thanks for sharing your experience man.
Thanks for watching
Thank you for this! They need an espresso maker and a steam wand next!
Im sure itll come at some point

It’s coming
I got mine in. Makes a good cup of coffee but the app doesn’t work or at least I can’t figure out how make it work.
Looks like October time frame for the app
Glad to see this review. I like my OXO but Aiden is beautiful.
it definitely looks good
Should have mine next month. Thanks for the review!
You'll enjoy it
Are the brew baskets plastic?
Yes
My Aiden arrives on Wednesday!
Enjoy!
I just ordered one today!
Enjoy
Thanks for the info. Selling my moccamaster and getting this bad boy!
itll be worth it!
I wouldn't do that, don't sell one of the most reliable coffee Brewers ever for something unproven

Bless the commenters telling us you didnt plug it in/use it
If you watched you’d know that I used it quite a bit before this review
What's the point you say about quality of the taste if you don't brew with it 🤣
@@r1cky068114123 I didn’t brew with it in the video but I’ve brewed extensively with it
