she lured him to utah, gave him the gate code to get in, said the door will be unlocked just come inside when you get here. they claimed he wasnt invited, an intruder, and killed him in self defense. the "knife" didnt belong to matt, it belonged to kates mother tracy, investigators traced it to a subscription service of a couple that ONLY tracy knew in california. matts wrist also had been blown out from a gun shot wound that happened while he was standing or running away, knives dont stay in someones hand that has been shot, they just dont. the knife was placed there.
