Love this duo, your are doing such a stellar job at replicating the art! I really hope we see this two get some time together in the next book, also excited to see the interactions between Mera and Ramsey. But hey let me know if you would be interested in joining the art team in my fan series, it would be awesome to have you.
1-I like Percy’s pants 2-The gold coin motif is a good idea. 3-Why does she have a bandage around her head? 4-She’s still a cop, makes sense. 5-I guess she uses her epithet to capture criminals. 6-Like she turns their legs to gold so they can’t escape. 7-Or she turns herself gold so she doesn’t take damage during combat. 8-Ramsey being a drug dealer is the best thing ever! 9-Love the weed shirt!!! 10-Is one of his eyes just perpetually high, or is it red from the injury? 11-I like how his hair is more blocky. 12-Nice detail with his pants legs.
Thanks for the compliments 😊. The reason why Percy has the bandage around her head is a reference to Lady Justice, who has a bandage around her eyes. I imagine Ramseys eye has something to do with his epithet. It being red is a reference to being high
Hm I'm not really convinced by that choice. Goldbricker is a word specifically tied to trickery and fake things, which doesn't fit Percy's mentality and sense of justice. As for Ramsey, he did bad things, but he's a pretty good guy overall, drug dealing doesn't seem to be the kind of things he would do, because that's really harmful in the long run. Doesn't feel like his style. I would probably have swapped Percy and Howie instead, with Mundie Percy relying on her real ass goddamn sword alone to get the job done, and Parapet Howie having this word help him find his calling but not using it at all because he despises Epithet users. As for Ramsey, I would maybe swap him with Zora. He would use Sundial to do basically what he did with the fake necklace he gave Zora and during operation Mid-Ass, but with Zora's epithet. He would give the gold to people, only for it to automatically turn into dust later on, as he controls the moment they completely corrose. I feel like he would have a glass eye because well he can't turn things into gold, but also after he lost his eye, well the process of losing his eye was over, and he couldn't reverse it with Sundial. So basically it would be the same except his eye isn't gold. Speaking of that, the interaction between Percy and Ramsey about the fact that a Mundie did this to his eye would have to change, Percy wouldn't underestimate Mundies if she was one. Or maybe she would. She would think all the Mundies aren't really useful, including herself. She would try to stick to her sense of justice but would also fight against a sense of worthlessness in this world. And seeing that the ACTUALLY useless Gorou would become Sheriff just because he has an Epithet wouldn't help. And Ramsey's line about how a Mundie took his eye would be a misguided attempt at cheering her up. Like "See ? Mundies aren't all incapable." Howie would also be someone she looks up to since, as I explained earlier, he does have an Epithet but is extremely good at his job without ever using it, showing her that people can accomplish things without Epithets. And instead of challenging her to go after Zora despite her Stamina being low and not being able to use her Epithet, he would motivate her to go after Zora despite not having an Epithet and being at a huge disadvantage against Zora. Speaking of, Goldbricker Zora, well she can use the same trick Ramsey used at the end of Episode 7, turning herself into pure gold so Ramsey can't age her as she chases him. She can also probably turn people into gold, and if it doesn't straight-up kill them, well she can probably manipulate gold and twist the shape of her targets' bodies at will, which is pretty scary. As for her design, she would be a gold digger instead of a cowboy (and in the literal sense, people who dig for gold, not the people who date people for their money).
Thanks for the comment 🙏 The reason why I kept the gold theme for Percy is just for the sake of the power swap. I tried to reinforce this by basing her design of Lady Justice, which is a statue made of gold. For Ramsey, I don’t imagine him actually selling drugs, just creating small buildings that can give similar effects to drugs. This is in reference to Percy creating a healing tower which calmed ‘Car Crash’ down. Thanks again 😊
@@Invalidperson019 That's fair, but I don't see how this new Epithet would change his character. Like, for Mera who isn't Fragile, it's pretty obvious, but I don't see how Ramsey being able to make small buildings would lead him towards a specific different path.
The process of elimination, does that mean Zora and Howie will swap? I guess there’s the sheriff? Oh right Busgley and Arnold exist! And that android girl. I guess the book might have characters. WAIT HOW COULD I FORGET SLYVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@Invalidperson019 Who to swap with Silvie... ? Feels a bit weird but the best I can come up with would be with Dr. Beefton ? His Epithet would still be Drowsy, but his clothing style and part of his attitude would be swapped with Beefton's, and his specialty would be Women's studies like Beefton while Beefton would be the psychiatrist. And he would use Dream Big during sessions since Beefton is the one who knows about psychology in this version while he doesn't.
When designing a character for a cartoon, the design needs to reflect who they are and what they can do. So I incorporated more gold in Percy’s design and made Ramseys hair look like a brick pattern

It sounds interesting, what would we be exactly doing?

I think a Rick and Lorelai swap would be hilarious and also fitting since they are the only new characters to P.O.P with an epithet

@@Invalidperson019 I guess but I still feel like Ramsey wouldn't go anywhere near drugs. It might just be me though.
