My first 3DS game I played. In fact, I remember getting my first 3DS XL on Christmas of 2013, it was one of the consoles that had this game pre-installed. I believe it was the "30 years of Luigi" edition, I spent months, probably over a year from then beating the entire game, since it was so hard to go through every single boss (including giant ones) in this game
I remember this game being tutorial happy. Filled with tutorials. They were okay if you were new to the Mario and Luigi series and this was your first Mario and Luigi game like me but a veteran replaying this game since 2013? The tutorials can rot for all I care.
I've played through the first 3 games and am currently playing through Dream team. I just checked to see how far I am based on how long your video is. I've logged 26 hours and just reached the top of mount Pajamaja. So it looks like I'm about halfway through the game. So far Bowsers inside story is my favorite. But I really am liking this game a lot. I like that the hammers and boots now are weapons that can be upgraded to do more damage and cause different effects as apposed to just having one attack stat in the past games and just some enemies were more vulnerable or had resistance to one or the other. Now you can find different hammers and boots as equippable weapons more similar to how other RPGs do with swords etc. Sweet game for sure!
